Gapps not working after 1.1 upgrade. - Nook Color General

I just manually updated to rooted 1.1 and now my youtube and several others wont open. As soon as i click them it just goes to the home screen (adw if it matters). The xda app was doing it to but unistalling it and reinstalling fixed it. How do i do this for youtube, gmail, and the other apps that don't show in the market?

No update notification for app installed

I factory wipe my n1 and reinstall using app monster. Afterwards, I stop getting update notifications. I found out when I was using the xda app and I uninstalled and reinstalled from market and it was a newer app. I also check a couple more apps and notice there were newer apps on the market and received no update notifications. Anyone know why this happened?

You tube

Anyone having trouble with their youtube app on super clean .4 for dl09? Mine is force closing today but was working last night. Won't even let me uninstall it.

Yup, not sure what the problem is. If you clear data in the manage applications menu it will work until the next boot.

Hmmm, my youtube is working fine and I have the same setup. What kernel are you using? I'm on one of adryn's test kernels. 1/16 I think, non-voodoo

I had the same issue this morning. To fix go to
~settings/applications/manage applications/youtube/
and clear data and cache. this worked great for me. Can not explain why this happened.
Im on Super Dark V1 with Adrynalyne -100mv VooDoo DJ05 and I have to go clear it in app manager each time I try to re-enter the youtube app.
I've had the same issue, but it only happens when I've logged into my youtube account. But after I clear the data and cache, the forceclosures stop and youtube works fine again. I just decided not to log into my youtube unless really necessary. Had this same problem w/super clean ROM for D101 too.
Yeah the bug is coming from signing into your youtube account if you sign in, the next time it wont work (assuming you are on the froyo version for 2.1)... you have to clear data and cache before you reboot for it to work on the next boot after you sign in, use, and exit

Missing applications from my apps in market

I own a nexus one, and after upgrading to gingerbread, some applications which are installed such as dolphin browser and soundhound are installed but are not listed as installed on the market and thus I don't get update notifications for them.
I tried to clear data on the market app to re sync the installed apps but it had been disabled on gingerbread
Can anyone shed some light please?
Thanks in advance,

Do they at least appear on the market?
Yes, I even re-installed the apps, still not showing in my apps though.

You might be able to use Titanium Backup's "Market Doctor" function to re-establish the application links to the Market, though I believe that requires root.
Give it some times, they'll probably come back on it's own.
If not use Market Doctor like suggested, that might or might not solve it.
It has happened to me here and there and usually fix itself.
Another thing you can try is download an app, any app (something free that can be delete afterward) and see if that bring the missing apps back.

[Q] Google Plus Widget crashes

I installed the Google Plus app from the market. When I hit the share field it crashes.
Any suggestions?
CM7 RC1 + OC mod
Get My Fake Location from the market. The app is looking for a GPS location and will crash without one.

I do get some real location services from WiFi (e.g. Google Maps). Will My Fake Location interfere with that?
Don't know. I just turn it on when I want to post something with G+.

Thanks for the tip, it worked fine after installing the app. I hope Google will fix this so that G+ works the way Maps works on our gps-less devices.
