It's V10 = Froyo.
And SU660 is not exactly the same than O2X.
But some sources can be used in kernel, see Horse Power Kernel thread, latest version has some SU990 drivers (+(RC5) All Kernel drivers from SU660 GB sources except power,odm_kit,base,nvos fixed for the competibility and merged(RC5))

Is there any way you can get the Oficial Firmware download (KDZ probably) or a system dump? (nandroid backup if you can install Clockworkmod recovery, which can be harmful if not compatible).

We all feel your pain mate
To make it worse the stupid LGUpdate Tool keeps poping update requests only to hang half way trough saying update is not possible due to fatal error.

Heh. The thing is that you have to install Clockworkmod recovery, which may not be compatible with the Marquee and brick it. So I won't tell you to do it since I can't tell if you will have the phone safe...

Same as antonio1475, first you must root your phone, install ClockWorkMod, and make nandroid backup. Then upload and share the nandroid to us.. BUT, I'm also NOT suggesting you to do it, since you must have experience with hacking the phone, also your warranty will be void. So we don't want that risk and take responsible for it...
CMIIW.

Just echoing the question of if we can root the Sprint version or not. My EVO is having some hardware issues and I've been wanting to downsize a bit since I got the Asus EEEpad...don't really need that much screen on the phone anymore and would like to benefit from the slimmer design of the marquee. But, I need root for tethering since I travel a lot and not always sure where the next hotspot will be.

There isn't any known way to unpack the kdz file at the moment, and flashing it on a p970 might completely brick it so I'm pretty sure nobody has a spare phone to throw away by flashing an incorrect firmware on it

If only the radio is different, knzo told me that it would probably boot (theoretically speaking of course, anything can happen), just radio wouldn't work. If so, a nandroid backup can be done and maybe the radio changed (I have no freaking idea so can't tell if this radio thing can be actually done).
However, I consider that if LG releases official 2.3 for Black in some days as finally expected so far (yes, we know, they can and will move the dates as they want), it's not worth it. I will just wait.
Advice: get something to do, some task, and you will forget that you "need" Gingerbread now, as I have done as soon as I started university weeks ago.

Needs IMEI for a Marquee... Can download if any marquee user would PM their IMEI. I'd like to test it and make a nandroid. Putting any Optimus Black IMEI obviously will give you a link with your native firmware (V10D, V10E etc.)
Or just the link after putting the IMEI. It gave me something like this.

Simple to do is dial *#06# and you'll get IMEI.

KDZ every day I make a good run. but today, the software 1-27-2012 KDZ + LGMobile update it does not show up window as shown below again.

Use R&D Tool, select your downloaded kdz file and start the update.

Hey, just follow that guide and you will regain your phone back ! After that you can flash your phone with what .kdz you want !!!

I tried with a different P970, but I think it KDz no longer used. KDz I tried on a different pc and not waiting for results

Have you tried that tutorial with SmartFlash ?

Try download .bin & .fls files with code "SEA" on that list. It's for South East Asia if I'm not mistaken.

today, testing this rom ! baseband seem compiled " 2 march 2012" (from hidden menu)

seems like it's just 20q for greec. nothing improved

I would make a rebuild and my lots of tweaks only, if the firmware is a noticeable better than V20q and I don't think this is yo.
But could anyone give me following files of the V20r from /system/lib folder:
libsqlite.so
libsqlite_jni.so
This would be great!

It would be pointless to develop another ROM just for another region with same stuff inside. So maybe Firmware is updated, only i didn't check was kernel. Is it the same?

The kernel is the same for guarantee. It seems to be the same like the V20m: It was only a V20l for Netherlands with all the bugs from V20l.

How the F. They could release ICS ROM if there is no basis for it>?
That's why here in XDA are great developer who are trying to make it on they own.
BTW, It's LG, why should they think about support, if they can sell hundreds of half-made mobiles? /It's just my oppinion/

Trying to find a way to extract from kdz but inside the kdz file, just another encrypted file (wdb)...
It seems the only way to extract it is flash it to my phone I afraid to flash with KDZ because I got a dead LG P500 at LG service now

Yes, flashing is the only way to extract it...
I don't want to flash this firmware, because I don't think, it's better. I just want the sqlite files, because maybe LG increased scrolling.

I accidentaly Bricked my O2X by flashing incompatible Kernel.
now my phone won't boot and is stuck on the LG unlocked bootlogo.
So, is there any possible way to bring back my phone without reflashing ROM?
My current ROM is official ICS v30c

+ you get new 6.x CWM
+ You will be on CM 10
Follow the steps it´s realy realy easy to use.
