[Boot Animation] My Simple Boot Animation

Got bored today at work and thought I would post this up. Trying to keep the boot clean and simple. Below is a sample and the download link.

I used root explorer to copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media/. Make sure to make a copy of the existing bootanimation.zip just in case you need to restore.

Is there a stock nexus s animation for the epic? (with the blue, red, green and yellow.)

I believe this was asked in his 1st thread and as of now, i dont think there is a stock "colored" nexus boot up for the Epic, only solid colors. I cant really speak for jkrough but he'll give u a heads up fairly soon on this.

[Q]xt860 users, general question

Do you ever find that no matter what rom or theme(gb only) you flash that the signal strength icons stay the same stock moto ones?

Now that you mention it.. yeah. It doesn't look bad or anything though. I haven't ever installed a theme yet, so not sure if this helps...

I think its because gsm uses different signals icons for some reason. Don't know why. I manually change them with ninja morph

I'm just happy that the icon (and function) works. Which theme/visual mods are you running right now? And/Or.. which rom? I'd like to see what your setup looks like. I admit, I'm getting a little bored of the standard look.

Looks like the screenshot got compressed and resized. Do you hate that SMS icon as much as I do? Hah.. I may just have to give Mav another shot and play with the themes. Mav4 made my phone warm for the whole 8 hours I had it installed. It bugged me.

flash in recovery or extract bootanimation.zip and copy to /system/media
v2 fixes the loop. v1 didn't loop due to an error in the desc.txt. this version is considered final

Is it supposed to just be the X? I flashed it on CM9 RC1 and it is just the picture in the first post.

I think it only is the X, but it does a cool fade in at the beginning. For what's it' worth I like it.

The other one was marked a WIP...it sounded to me like theirs wasn't working....mine was, so I started my own thread
**I posted an updated version that fixes the animation loop. the first version didn't loop at all due to an error in the desc.txt

the resolution is exactly the same...my x10's battery is currently drained, so I can't say for sure, but I don't see why not!

I just installed it on my Nexus S, works flawlessly.
Just something I noticed that's very small, when the animation is about to start again there's a slight stop and go, for like a split second. other than that, everything else is amazing.
