Yup it is.
All I have really done was add my Business Sense theme, apps and some of it's related mods.
I am also releasing v1.1 with the stack Froyo 2.2+ kernel since it fixes a few things like sync animation. Will post more when I fill the first post.

I have been following that thread since day 1. From all reports from my v1 all is working except the CamCorder.
Replacing the ported kernel with the stock HTC kernel fixed a few things.
Can you think of things you are specifically interested in.

Yea I have using that ROM for a few days now.
Few things to note:
1) really laggy and even freeze up when installing apps.
Minor:
1) In the call, top left says "unknown", it should be Verizon Wireless.
2) HTC Sense launcher would force close once in a while, but I haven't noticed it since I changed the kernel
3) It rebooted when I was charging and streaming music, again this could be kernel related.
Thanks!

I have not niticed the lag when installing.
The first one of the minor I forgot about. The kernel seems to fix 2 and 3.

Also, does your internal memory mount when connecting to PC?
I will try out your ROM in a bit, to see if the lag only happens in Incdoes' ROM maybe not in yours.
Do you think I can just flash your ROM on top of IncDoes' without wiping?
This is exactly the right direction to take the Z port in. Always thought the Z port will become the base ROM for work from Nils/Incubus/Lou/Skyraider/bored because of the extra features in the base ROM, htcsense.com, speed advantages compared to the official verizon RUUs.
Good work, sir! Will be flashing it very shortly.

For me, its battery life. I don't know what it is about the rom, but it murders my battery. It is so difficult, since i love the updated sense, but having a ~60% battery drop overnight really kills it for me..

I am getting the same battery life with this ROM as I did with my Incredible Business Sense ROM with the stock Incredible Kernel.
There are a lot more things syncing so I turned everything off except weather and activsync mail
Anybody try Picture MMS, I was using the Desire-Z rom and it wasn't working for sending and would assume this would have the same issue. Anybody tested it or could let me know?
This is a Hybird Rom based on HTC Sense Rom but HTC Sense + Apps removed and replaced with Stock Froyo Apps.
This project is now on Hold, I have decided never to buy HTC product again and i got rid of my HTC wildfire, bought Xperia X10 so i will be contributing in X10 threads. If you would like to borrow any bits of my work e.g. lockscreen fixes then please help yourself or continue the project by downloading the latest V6.

But this seems like a good one. Looks like just what I need. I love CM6.1 but miss a few of the good things from Sense.
I am just "sitting on the fence" watching the feedbak Hugeball gets. If they are good I will definetely try it. Right now I am "stuck" with Wildpuzzle because I can't live without some of the Sense bits.

NOTE 2: Fresh install with full wipe required.
IMPORTANT: Won't flash over anything unless I say otherwise. For a fresh install you must be using the correct CWM for your screen type (3.0.0.7 for Amoled or 3.0.0.8 for SLCD ) with ROM Manager or alternatively full wipe in recovery, then install/choose zip from SD Card
RULE OF THUMB: If you choose to flash over without a wipe and have lags, FC's, things missing, or things just don't work right then flash again with a complete wipe
Random Thoughts:
If you are using Google restore for a large amount of apps then expect some lag in the early minutes or hour or so after the install.
If you are experiencing a lot of lag after a fresh install check to see if it is Google restore. Most people don't even notice the option is on when signing into the market.
If you are using any means to restore and that restore is from another ROM suspect what was installed if you are having problems with this ROM
If you are using any means to restore and that restore is from a prior version of this ROM suspect what was installed if you are having problems.
Try different radios to see which one gives you the best network speed and overall functionality. For me it is the 11.19 radio for my area.

Helpful hints on battery life:
Look in Settings > Accounts & Sync and make sure you are not syncing anything you don't care about like news and stocks, etc. Leave them to update when opened. Same with E-Mail.
Go into the people/contacts and make sure you are only syncing contacts you need. For example I use Outlook and turned off Google and phone.
Turn off WiFi when you are not in range or need it. I boosted the search frequency time but it still helps to not have it searching at all
Adjust screen brightness to say 50% then put it on auto.
In Settings > Location turn off GPS and Phone Finder. That assumes you don't care about Phone Finder.
In Settings > Privacy turn off automatic backups if you don't use them
In Settings > Applications > Manage Applications uninstall ES File Explorer and HTC_IME mod (My black keyboard) if you don't use them. EFS runs in the background all the time.
Look in Settings > Applications and see if you have any apps that run all the time that you don't really use and uninstall them.
If I think of more I will add them.
Most of these use battery but also use RAM so you can save on both.

I have been a fan of your work in the past and will give this one a shot.
I was waiting for a 2.1/3.0 mix that is stable enough for a daily driver (since I use my Inc for business also) and this looks like the one I will try.

Nils, its great to see you taking part in GingerSense rom building!
I have been a fan of your work in the past and will give this one a shot.
I was waiting for a 2.1/3.0 mix that is stable enough for a daily driver (since I use my Inc for business also) and this looks like the one I will try.

Known Problems, Limitations, and Changes:
Known Problems
As far as I can tell the only thing not working 100% is the
* Camera will not save on EMMC (Internal Storage) - Works for some but no guarantee it will work forever
Fix: Save to SD Card
* Sizing of images in Gallery cuts off about 1/3 of right image (No impact of functionality)

In Settings > Privacy turn off automatic backups if you don't use them
In Settings > Power turn of efficiency
In Settings > Applications > Manage Applications uninstall ES File Explorer and HTC_IME mod (My black keyboard) if you don't use them. EFS runs in the background all the time.
In Settings > Applications > Manage Applications uninstall Netflix if you don't use it.
Look in Settings > Applications and see if you have any apps that run all the time that you don't really use and uninstall them.
If I think of more I will add them.
Most of these use battery but also use RAM so you can save on both.

Possible fix for 3G drops
If you are experiencing either 3G drop or slow 3G speed it could be because a prior ported Sprint ROM may have corrupted something with your VZW setup. Happens when a ROM is not completely de-sprinted. Following this appears to help.
Do a Nandroid backup while 3G is working
Wipe everything
Flash this ROM Stock leaked Gingerbread ROM but rmk40
Don't worry about a full setup just accept and skip through eveyrthing
Do a *228 option 1 the option 2
Make a call to make sure it work OK
Wipe everything again in recovery. Does not hurt to format Cache, dalvik, System and data. DO NOT FORMAT SD CARD
Do a Nandroid restore from the backup made in first step
Wipe Cache and Dalvik
Reboot

Thanks for all the hard work - this looks like a must flash for me.
Stupid question: do I need to be on 247 before I flash?
I'm on 232 happily running another ROM without any problems. I'm very tentative about flashing 247 and losing the ability to go backward to an OTA upgrade path. Or is this not a problem anymore.
But I've been following your work and this ROM sounds awesome.
Sorry if this is too noobish

Been on 232 for eons, so this is a breath of fresh air. Downloading.
Edit: First boot the phone got stuck in airplane mode, however I feel like I did this somehow by accident. I was holding the phone away from me and realized it had finished booting and I was pressing stuff, then saw airplane mode was on, and there was no way to turn it off. So I did a wipe and reflash, with the moto preinstall folder wiper mod (why not?). All is well. Restoring apps via MyBackup Pro.
Flashed this warlock with ss3.0.5 and its been banging like a champ. Only issue so far is awesome beats doesn't want to work correctly. Other than that this rom is fantastic! Thanks for the hard work on this one

Smooth & Stable so far.. Really like this one, but can OP make a flash-able zip (or a version) with the more traditional ICS battery & signal icons? Is there a way to get rid of the persistent search bar?
Edit:
Tried installing on safeside via safestrap, no errors whatsoever, running great. However, on the non-safe via bootstrap on top of 232 it was installed, but after reboot there seems to be no changes made to the 232.

Flashed Rom and it works wonderful. But is it possible to add screenshot in the rom without third party app. Awesome beats doesn't do anything as stated before and battery percent is very much needed, other then that this is a awesome rom fast and smooth. Great work looking forward to future updates.
Added status bar icon mods, screenshots, and feature suggestions to the OP. Enjoy!
