Tested and works on the fascinate.
I personally like the miui app better but you might enjoy this. Looks like the image gallery lol

Love the app. But i've tried many times before, this phone just does not handle it good. It ruins music with skipping/studdering. Which is surprising because its fine on the inc. But you cant even play music and load a webpage. Its just a cool looking thing but will definitely require a more finalized build to make it even acceptable
agreed.

I for one, would like to see the xperia 10's andoid version because it looks really cool, and something different. Or sense(Not expresso, looks like its trying to be a iPhone).
What about you guys?
xperia x10
I'ld really like to have only the timescape and mediascape on 2.1
Working espresso would be nice... I mostly just wanna see full Cyanogen goodness. JAC's CyanogenMod-based Eclair xROM for Dream is amazing... I'd love to have a 2.1 CyanogenMod/xROM. But seriously, I'd love to play with Espresso, especially if they get everything working. It'd be blazin' fast on the Nexus.
Windows Mobile.
Wait, wut?
CyanogenMod.
Would love to see hero running on this bad boy, I came from the G1 and it didn't run very good on it.

Second that. The multimedia features look crazy good. If they could just take that aspect and maybe Sense, then it would be a great ROM imo.
X10 or just plain Android. Whatever runs fastest and smoothest is good for me for every day stuff.
Something with more multitouch
Mediascape and Timescape do look good.
I've just watched some demos on Yuotube, but it's got to be said the Xperia 10 is VERY choppy........
I would like Exchange working *including calendar* without paying $20 for Touchdown or having to root my wifes phone.

I use the MotoCal calendar from Droid, combined with the Android Agenda Widget from the Market. Works flawlessly for me.
I would like SenseHERO ROM to be ported to the N1, but I also want to keep the N1's native new features - such as the Live Wallpapers.
I dont really dig any of the skinned android ui's, however it would be great to have a vanilla 2.1 rom that incorporated some of the MotoBlur stuff without having the complete Blur UI. In particular Im thinking the FB widget, and Blur numerical lock screen.
Extra points if the rom can also incorp the Sense mail widget. Dont know if its possible to mesh the two frameworks, but I can dream...
this might sound wierd bout i would like too see donut on my n1 so i can theme it
I just want the original 2.0 lockscreen with the arc. It looked a lot better IMO then the newer one does. Also the nexus is theme-able in it current state, just can't do anything with services.jar yet (so no white text in status bar).
As the Nexus One has almost identical specifications and hardware as the HTC Touch HD2 (besides the screen, and non N capable wireless?)
Does that mean we can hope for some Android love to the HD2?
If that so I would get the HD2 over Nexus simply because I find it superior, eventhough it lacks a AMOLED screen.
Id love to see SE's Nexus UX ported over. Im sure with the 512mb ram that the N1 has will make the UI silky smooth.
On another note, I just cant seem to understand why Google decided on a white notification bar. It boggles my mind, esp considering that most people get black phones. They really need to add a built in Metamorph for changing between a white and black theme...
Not sure if these can be ported but here they are if anyone wants to give it a shot
Probably need touchwiz framework to get it going.... wouldn't be impossible, but most likely not simple either
added touchwiz framework
Not sure if that's whats needed to get codecs working on NS i really have no clue really but music play itself IMO is really good, much better than stock
So does this work?

no at the moment
Since it has only been one day, I am sure this will get ported. I also hope that Samsung Media Hub is ported over while waiting for Netflix!
At the very least it would be great to get the codecs. SGS plays everything under the sun.

Bumping this request because compared to my Galaxy S, the stock camera, music player, and video player on Gingerbread are pathetic. Anybody hear of anything on the Galaxy S apps working on the Nexus S? (seriously considering going back to my SGS)
Bump, all stock media players are just awful.
I'm looking into the same thing.. In addition to the Player I'd like to port the Clock apk and the dual-clock widget.
The SGS Clock apk is very handy with world clock/timer/stop watch in addition to the Alarm clock it self.
If anyone can do so?
Here I attach the apks
i also like the sgs calculator better. you could minimize the numbers and see your history of what you've calculated.

Its long been known that porting any of the stock Samsung apps is completely impossible without the entire TouchWiz framework. If you are desperate for these apps you should work on having a port of TouchWiz for the Nexus S however, and I hate to have to be frank like this, I wouldn't hold your breath. The general consensus seems to be that there aren't devs interested in porting TouchWiz.
Here we talk about themes and applications for the upcoming Moto Xoom!
Beeen messing with a 7' galaxy tab for the last couple of weeks, and have noticed only one non scalable app that doesn't fit the tablet, and that's engadget.
TweetDeck, and any of the main news and weather apps work and look fantastic. So can;t see why they won't fit 10'
This thing looks awesome already so i cant wait to see what the devs whip up to FURTHER increase the awesome. haha
I was pretty excited to hear Monster Madness ran well on it! Maybe the Sony suite might bring us some other ps3 quality games!
Existing apps in Android Market
Hi guys,
Has anyone seen a video and / or review or anything that shows how existing apps in Android market run on Motorola Xoom or any other 10" + screen size tablet.
kindly share your experience.
Thanks.
SpeedX updated for the Xoom can't wait to see how that plays.

Yes, still on 2.1, waiting on some Gingerbread goodness, but might flash Vanilla Froyo.

I found this awesome movie manager for anyone running Honeycomb at the moment. Michell Bak, the developer, said he is working on a version for GB and Froyo as well. Check it out if you haven't already.
Thanks!
Yeah, it is pretty slick! I will probably get the paid app when I get more titles on my tablet. I have noticed that the widget does not load the images until the app is opened...does ths happen for anyone else?
Purchased my copy of app
This app is awesome. Really makes my tablet complete when its movie night with the wife. Visually it looks amazing and functions very well.
Quick question for the Captivate folks:
Has anyone tried installing this launcher:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.samsung.smcl.spblauncherlite&feature=search_result
If you have and you were successful, mind sharing the secret? I'm on Mosaic VI with the latest Talon beta kernel.
Thanks

All reports thus far seem to indicate it doesn't open on the captivate, regardless of the rom you're running. I didn't work on mine, either. Its pretty ironic that it installs and runs perfectly on my Atrix, but not my samsung phone.
Personally, I don't like it that much. Its a cool concept, but kinda clunky and its missing a lot of customization features. Launcher pro is still #1 for me.

LauncherPro +1
haven't tried it but the reviews don't look so good.
I still think ADW EX is the best and for a different look and feel Launcher 7 Pro
ADW has catalogue groups in app drawer which is similar to what Pure seems to describe in the video.
Works Fine on Phoenix Unleased.
I extracted it with root explorer and pasted the lib files in system /lib and bin files in system/ bin. I then fixed permissions in recovery and re booted. Worked fine..... I just didn't like it. I'm runnim latest version of miui

It's funny, because I did read the reviews and they weren't so stellar. For me, it's one of those reasons that I flash the heck out of this phone; it gives it something a little different until either there is a new rom to play with, or I can afford new hardware. Oh well; thanks for the feedback guys.

i tried it and it worked but its was laggy and didnt work well :[
It Worked for me when I was on Fasty 2.5, but I found it just boring and not very useful so I killed it of my internal SD.
Sent From My Captivating Shanna, yes I Named My Phone get over it.
Didn't work for me on Apex 9.2 either. Check out Zeam Launcher, smooth as butter, I love it.
works on cognition 5.2, but I'm just going to stick with Go Launcher until someone comes out with something that offers more gesture control.
Works on Mosaic with talon. I don't like it though...go launcher!!!
Worked on CM7
Quickly uninstalled though. Interesting idea but I didn't care for it.
