[Q] Scrollable wallpaper? - Nook Color General

I've got a NC running 1.0.0 that I ran autonooter 2.12.25 on to root it. I'm currently using Zeam as my launcher. I have it set for 3 screens at the moment and the first wallpaper I used I remember scrolling as I went from screen to screen. I've since updated my wallpaper to other images and it seems that I've lost this scrolling capability. My most reason wallpaper has dimensions of 1280x800 and it doesn't scroll.
I've tried going into Zeam's settings which mentions having scrollable wallpaper. Setting this option on or off does not seem have any effect.
Anybody out there experience this or know what I might be doing wrong? I thought the wallpaper simply needed to be > 1024x600 for it to scroll.
Minor annoyance, but I kinda liked the feature.
Thanks,

Try updating to a wallpaper thats 1024x1200 and post if thats scrollable.

I also find that, if you select the wallpaper with the stock launcher & then switch back to Zeam, the wallpaper is sized better for the NC.
Cheers,
kev

Use a wallpaper that is 1280x1024 and set it while in landscape mode. That has worked best for me.

I've tried 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 wallpapers but haven't seen any difference in behavior. Strange.

I've found that if you load the wallpaper into the wallpaper folder on your NC's internal memory and then use the stock launcher to change the wallpaper it works best. No idea why, but it does. Put the same picture in the pictures folder and it does not look as good. Again, no clue why.

[Q] wallpaper problem

I'm having a problem with setting wallpapers. when i go into wallpaper selection mode from gallery, it opens up the crop box. No matter what part of the image choose within the box, when the wallpaper is set I get a zoomed in, further cropped version of what i had chosen, which pretty much looks pathetic. Any pointers on how I can get it to set correctly?
no idea, anyone?
It could be something to do with your launcher. Most launchers pan across the wallpaper as your scroll through different screens. Depending on the launcher you may be able to turn this feature off.
Sent from a galaxy far far away.
The same thing happens on my Galaxy Ace!!! I have no idea what to do anymore. >:/

[Q] Wallpaper Wizardii

So I've read several threads about getting wallpapers to fit just right on the Touch Pad using Wallpaper Wizardii and Wallpaper Set & Save. I've downloaded both and still can't get my wallpapers to fit right. The problem I'm having is no matter what I do, each wallpaper is being cropped into. Am I just doing this wrong or is there a better way to do it?
Which option are you selecting in wallpaper wizardrii? If I want to set an image without crop I use "exact" on an image that's the same resolution as the touch pad screen, that seems to work for me.

[Q] problem with home wallpaper

I installed Rocket Rom V7 and now I am facing the issue that
whatever sized wallpaper I select for my homescreen, they all become scrollable, instead of being restricted to one screen size.
I even tried with 1280x800 sized wallpapers and I believed that the wallpaper shouldnt scroll. But they become super zoomed and scroll across my home screens.
I have Go Launcher Ex too installed.
Strangely, the wallpapers look same when I switch to go launcher or older stock launcher which came with original ics 4.03 update.
Has anyone faced the same issue?
Whats the solution?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Properly sized wallpaper not scrolling?

Hi everyone, I didn't know exactly where to post this thread so if it needs moving I'm sorry. I made an 2160x1920 wallpaper for my HTC One because I was told that static wallpapers are 1080x1920. Copied it over to the device, set it as a wallpaper, everything worked fine except for one thing. The entire wallpaper doesn't show up. When I scroll, about 1/5 of it is horizontally cropped out from one side. It appears to be cropping in the "select wallpaper" screen because I can choose how much of each side it bites off by scrolling sideways.
I'm using CyanogenMod 11 and Nova Launcher if it makes a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is my first custom wallpaper attempt and I just rooted and flashed a custom ROM for the first time yesterday.
Edit: The title is a little misleading, my bad
Figured it out, I just can't change wallpapers by going through settings-> themes-> wallpapers. It works when double tapping home button-> wallpaper-> gallery etc.

Wallpaper Set Issue

Some of you may be familiar with my typical home screen layout and custom wallpapers that I make on my PC. Well, I'm now experiencing issues with applying wallpapers to my home screen. Everything is slightly off, and not aligned properly. It appears that the phone is "zooming in" the wallpaper as it sets. Like, I'll have a border separating the notification bar area and my home screen but when applying the wallpaper that border is moved further up into the notification area. Like I said, the wallpaper seems to be "zooming in" as I set the wallpaper to my home screen.
I'm using Nova Launcher Prime. 12x12 grid. No dock.
I tried using Apex Launcher and ran into the exact same issue.
I've restarted the launcher. Restarted the phone. Used different photo apps to apply the wallpaper to the home screen. Nothing has fixed this. I'm not sure what else to try. If anyone here has any idea on why wallpapers are distorted (zoomed in a bit) as I apply them to my home screen, please help. Thanks!
ETA: Added two screen shots with a specific wallpaper that I found online to help show you what I'm talking about. When I see the preview of what setting the wallpaper will look like, it doesn't apply that way after setting the wallpaper.
Sweet, baby Jesus! I found the solution!
Please let this be a PSA for everyone who may run into this issue. The culprit was that stupid "Motion Effect" option while using the One UI launcher. You have to make sure when switching back to it from a third party launcher like Nova that you choose the "always" option so that it's your default launcher (stock launcher). Then when you do that and choose to apply a wallpaper, you'll see the "Motion Effect" option right under the image. Uncheck that stupid thing and your wallpapers will not longer "zoom in" like they did before.
Now, everything is lined up as it should!
