[Q] Lenmar battery? - HD2 Accessories

Hello everyone. I tried to search it in here, but could not find.
Have anyone tried this battery?
http://www.lenmar.com/Web/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=CLZ347HT
Seems to me a better option, comparing it to chinese cheap batteries of ebay

I don't know if it is better, but it is very expensive for a battery with the same characteristics as the stock battery.

Why you want to buy this one? It's the same like the stock battery...
You can get the stock battery from official resellers cheaper than this one...
Where's the difference that makes the battery worth the higher price?

The resellers do not sell original battery for cheaper. They sell a knock off. I think it was proven in dozens of topics. The more expensive batteries, that are being sold in US, including original HTC batteries are going through more testing. So if my phone blows up, I can go and kick their ass for that matter

Genuine Nexus S Batteries?

Hey everyone, just looking for some extra batteries for my Nexus S, and I am struggling to find some Samsung Genuine ones. I have read about the Behold/Moment batteries I think, but I would prefer official ones first, however you may prove me wrong
Something along the lines of this (desktop charger for the Galaxy S) would also be nice to have, so I don't have to put it in the phone to charge. Would the above mentioned batteries work in such a charger?
I would also prefer and Aussie power plug, but I have plenty of universal adaptors lying around so it's no biggie
I'm just wary about getting dud batteries, having only had bad experiences with cheap ones before.
Cheers!
Ok I found this on the US Samsung site, http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/AB653850CABSTD, lists the Nexus S as compatible and also the Moment, so I may as well just get a couple of those Moment batteries off Amazon from thePruneDanish, as it seems to be the best for having real batteries, not copies.
I will still try and find more on the dock though.
Ok, on the dock front, I may as well get this one: http://www.cellphoneshop.net/m850desktop.html
But just one question about it. On my Nexus, if I charge via certain USB cables it will come up as USB connected and charge slower (I know why, that's not the point), so if I used a USB cable to power this charger, to charge the spare battery, would it also be slower? Or is it a hardware thing only of the Nexus.
Sorry for starting a new thread before finding out everything Just this last question! Then mods may delete it if they choose.

This one comes with the correct plug:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300454233992
Works great, but when the charger is standing upright, the battery tends to pop out.
I bought a battery from the danish prude, and it is both genuine and 1500mAh. He seems to be out of stock, though.

Thanks, I had found that one, may get it as it works out a couple of dollars cheaper than the previous one (shipping mainly ).
As for thePruneDanish, did you get them to ship internationally? I just saw on the Amazon product page that is 'Shipping: Currently, item can be shipped only within the U.S.' can't be shipped outside of the US. Is this because it is a battery? And they can't be shipped easily or something? Also what is postage like to Australia (I have never been able to understand the shipping price table on Amazon :S )
Thanks so much for that though!

Forget Amazon, their shipping policies on electronics are insanely stupid. I bought from here:

I have no idea why it says 900mAh. Probably because it's compatible with the Samsung M900 Moment.

Thanks for that again! It may be worthwhile to get those, knowing they are the real thing. I was looking at these ones but the seller hasn't sold any of them so I'm hesitant about it. I wonder if thePruneDanish will consolidate, so like the US$12 shipping will cover both? That would be great if they did!

Sorry to question, but how can you tell if it is 1500mAh? Does it say on the battery itself, or does it have similar life to your original battery?
Ok well after some further investigating I can't seem to find any of the batteries on thePruneDanish's eBay shop, so I went local again. I found another listing for the exact same batteries by the same guy as I mentioned before, just this time they only had model numbers of the batteries (which is how I found it). Same price and all, however they have sold 12, which makes me comfortable.
Link is here.
I'll just bite the bullet and get 2 of them I think hopefully because they are all the same seller I can get them at the same time!

One of the questions is about the mAh, they replied 1500mAh so I guess it's half valid there. I understand it's a bit iffy, so I asked them if it's genuine and I'll see what happens there. That other seller still would be good if I could find some!
Edit: Can't find any mention of OEM anywhere on the page, dunno why I thought it was all good before. I hate it when the pictures aren't like ones taken by the seller! Off to look again I guess

How's that seller for reliability? Seems decent however, shall look into it.
Edit: That last seller you mentioned, on that page it states the battery is 1440mAh, does any of that matter? I don't care how large the batteries are really, but does it indicate fakes?

It should work just fine, it just means that it's definitely not genuine. And that the mAh rating could be a bit optimistic.

The original AB653850CA battery was 1440mAh, before the Nexus S came along. It's a difference of 4%. Possibly measurable, but not noticeable.

I'd prefer to stick to genuine batteries personally, maybe it's nothing but when ever I have used generic ones in the past they suck, even worse than the near dead battery they had replaced. This time it's just for extra power however.

4% difference doesn't bother me in the slightest, it would be nice to have more but I really don't care So basically you have to trust the seller when they say it's 1500 or 1440 etc.
If anyone can find a non-amazon site to buy the 1500mAh version from thePruneDanish? eBay preferred, as is PayPal but whatever goes
The original code behind the battery is:
AB653850CA 1500 mAh
and seems like it's only available from Samsung USA

AllGamer, if the price is what worries you, how much would you expect to pay for a genuine battery, I'm not sure how long the Behold has been out but surely it is long enough for retailers to get them other than Samsung?
considering Samsung websites sells it for $30ish, anything less than $20 i'll be questioning
as the originals usually have some sort of margin to how low they can go
it might very well be real ones, but we wont know until we peel on of those stickers off, and or do a Meter test on the battery
so who wants to be a guinea pig?

Yeah, what worries me is that maybe they are real batteries (genuine I mean) but have some fault, ie water damage. Because I just had to change my SIM then and I saw the water indicator on the side, where the pictures dont show...
I wonder what the margin is? Anyone here work in retail and can give us an estimate?
I would be a guinea pig but they don't ship to me

Batteries for Optimus Black

I`ve just found this:
(can`t post link yet, so google it)
Mugen Power 3400mAh Extended Battery for LG Optimus Black P970 / DOCOMO LG Optimus Bright [HLI-P970XL]
Looks promising, capacity is more than double
Do you thik it will make phone thicker?
Yes, the phone will be thicker.
If you look at Mugen direktly (first hit on google) there will be extra shells shipped with the accu. If you close enough at the picture you will see a little pit at the camera spot. I assume it will be about 5 mm thicker or so.
Greetings

I really like the look of this extended battery. Since the phone is already so thin I don't think an extended battery will make as big of a difference as it does with other phones. My only issue is the $100 price tag. Hopefully there'll be more options by the time this phone hits the USA, specifically VMU.

There is a highly reputable, reliable and respected seller on ebay from whom I have bought many items (but not batteries). They are selling high capacity, japanese batteries for a reasonable price.
Go onto ebay and search for 'Gold 2430MAH battery optimus black'
I emailed them regarding the quality of the batteries and the price and basically their answer was that they have an excellent feedback score on almost all batteries they have sold and the price is good because they get it straight from the factory.
I have ordered a set and will report on it after some use

There are no miracles in that area, there's no physical possibility of having such a big capacity in such a small form.
This is more than 100% fake.

If you need new battery - buy original one, if you need longer time, think rather of buying good 5v charger. The one for P970 is 4.8v, and some of polish lg users claim that 5v extends battery live. Think of some original microUsb charger, eg.Nokia.

I think, if you need a good product, then it's normal to pay a good price. Besides, Mugen has great customer support on Facebook http://facebook.com/mugenpowerbatteries and Twitter and through their website. They changed 1 battery for me already without issues. I rather pay a 100$ and know that I can change the battery if it does not work, rather than buying a bulk of useless junk on eBay for 10$...same goes with any other product - you can buy cheep shows and throw them away in a month, or buy good ones and wear for a year.

You can buy the LG OEM 1500mah batteries for about £8.50 each (plus shipping), it's not worth taking a risk when OEM batteries that are good quality and capacity are available so cheaply.
for my previous phones I tried various batteries with higher capacities and none of them were better than the originals. Actually most were worse. This time I'll take the original for sure and won't try others.
you should try the Mugen Power 1700mAh.
I've 2x of those, and from my personal experience (6 months of use) i can say that in average you get 4-8 extra hours of battery from standard LG 1500mAh battery

Mi A2 Lite Battery (BN47), where to buy authentic

Hi,
My mother's A2 Lite battery swelled inside the phone, and the phone restarts anytime. Here in Brazil we don't have official Xiaomi support places, just lots of small stores where I can buy very inferior clone batteries, which don't hold the phone on for much time, just for some hours.
I think its very hard to know who is selling a authentic battery just based on the price. Do you know a seller who sells authentic BN47 batteries? Or how to import it straight from Xiaomi? I can't find it anywhere!

Buy and sell electronics, cars, fashion apparel, collectibles, sporting goods, digital cameras, baby items, coupons, and everything else on eBay, the world's online marketplace

Thanks for helping.
How can I be sure if the battery is original? We have a lot of online sellers here too. Don't get me wrong, but original parts are way harder to get in these sites.
The first seller in your eBay search is a trusted seller, however the battery seems too cheap to be original (EUR12.90)... I once bought some large sized SD Cards from trusted sellers, paying a reasonable amount of money and all the cards resulted fake. I got a refund after all, but I don't want to pass through this again.
I would even buy a more expensive one if I was assured the battery to be authentic. Maybe some personal recomendations would help.

Thanks.
Well, actually, it seems I bought a relatively cheap but good clone battery (at a physical store), at least for the first week... It is practically identical to the original one, but the seller assured it is a clone, but a "first line" one. Surprisingly, at the moment, it is performing better than my own 3 year original battery.
I will keep an eye in the performance and lifetime of this battery, if I see it's quickly degrading I will try to follow your advice.
PS: A warning for anyone willing to open the phone and change the battery: pay attention when opening the phone because there's a big chance of cutting the short small flat from the fingerprint sensor. Yeah, I damaged the phone's fingerprint sensor...
