Why when my phone is on autobrightness the keys light turn off in 2sec everytime? Isnt it supposed the light to be active always when in dark environment?

I just notice when I turn off automatic lighting and turn my light off, my key lights don't turn on or off automatically. And there's no way to turn them on automatically.
The problem is if I want to just keep my brightness all the way up all the time, in the dark or low light conditions the bottom keys don't turn on. So I can't see them. Is there a way to fix this. I'm on full unrooted stock ICS.

So I didn't notice this until I went into a darker room, but the function buttons (menu, home, back, and search) stay dimly lit even when the phone screen is off. Is there some ICS setting I need to adjust? Any help would be appreciated.
I haven't seen or heard of anything like that (settings). So I would adventure to say you have a bad flash, or your using an app / mod that is causing it. Aside from that all I can think of is a phone going south.
GL!
Turns out it was a bad flash! Back to normal again

Happened to me once. Clear Cache fixed it.
So I tried light Flow, but it only works once, I mean, that, if I say that I have to blink 3timez, it wil blink 3times but is doesn't repeat after that. Annyone the same problem? Other solution?

There is no option to dim the capacitive keys, they are either on or off. They turn on when you unblock the phone, in other cases they are off.
The capacitives buttons are always on when it is unlocked?

I typed "unblocked" not "unlocked". When you press power button to see the lock screen, buttons turn on at max and then either dim or turn off depending on the light (think this is coming from light sensor). If you want to dim them more, you can always place adhesive tape over the buttons.
Ok. Thanks.

Does anybody know if there is a way to completely disable LED lights? I have turned off all Light effects but even then the LED becomes On on the start of a song or when a song is changed. I want to completely turn it off. plz help
Try deleting sys/devices/i2c-10/10-0047/LEDs file. You should make a back up first. This should completely disable led lights
