Question, what is the best metamorph framework - res to use on my rooted droid eris? I really like the gingerbread top bar.

Well it depends on a few things. Which ROM you are using and what your style is. My Kevlar Mash (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=701283) seems to be good and there are also a ton in the hero section. If you are using a Sprint based port, they should work.
Its more about trial and error. Make sure to NAND before applying any MM as you may not like it or it may not work. And you might have to apply a MM a few times before it fully takes. Dont know why but just does. Hope this helps you out a little bit.
also there are morphs designed for cyanogen builds only....they do not play nice with other roms as the framework is different. so be sure to read the info
Are there transparent metamorphs for the G1? I can't seem to find any MDPI transparent widgets. This thread looks awesome but only seem to work with HDPI devices.
You can find most of those widgets in the market or in the android themes section.
Droid bionic themes and apps talk goes here
I dont there will be one till a month or so.
This thread was created January 24th and it was released yesterday?!
I just got mine today. Let's see if it was worth the wait.
themes
just so you know you can start themeing your bionic if you have root access and install the MetaMorph application and head over to droidpirate.com and download / intsall the Gingerbread MetaMorphs nice alternate way to theme your Bionic.
more theme updates
Bunch of more theme updates for the Bionic have been updated, such as custom Lock slides, notification backgrounds, every color status bar, themed the nice "On Press Icon" for users running the stock Bionic BlurHome2.apk http://droidpirate.com
Droid pirate is the way to go
So I found these epic and amazing icons found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=823376 yet I can't seem to find any full color mdpi notification icons.
I don't have a computer to try to convert to mdpi from the hdpi files. Would somebody please be kind enough to do the hard work. I'd gladly make a donation to you. I have an LG optimus m running 2.2.1 and a nook color runnin cm7 gingerbread. i want to Metamorph these files. I know both devices draw from mdpi so it oughta work on em both, right?
Again I'm willing to donate to anyone who can get these metamorphed and converted to mdpi...pm me so we can talk more business

You're not alone, I always used 'Retrodroid' on Cm7, it was a Froyo theme for T-Mo's theme manager. I just love the Froyo look, especially the rounded corners on top.
Perhaps whomever answers your request could port that theme
Yes i totally agree
I wouldnt mind having vanilla gingerbread if thats available!

Could you post a screen shot of what you are taking about?
-Motorola Droid
-Motorola Droid X²
-Motorola Droid Bionic
Vanilla froyo is the gray status bar when it used to include AM/PM on the clock. Vanilla GB is the black with green icons, which I would love if someone could make a flashable zip. Closest thing I've found is the ice cream theme on here
