Hi guys,
Well, after nearly two months of fairly hard work designing and (in some cases) redesigning, I'm happy to release my first pack of HD Icons to the Android Community. This is a project still very much in process, as I see myself adding more packs as time goes on...however I was happy enough with the first 68 icons to release them out in the wild.
For the more astute amongst you, you'll notice that I mentioned a zip file and readme file, etc. SORRY! My bad...I intended to do the zip file, then came across the possibility of a gallery and got so overwhelmed with the graphical possibilities that I clean forgot about the zip file.

thank you, these are killer icons. i really like the look of them. one thing i did notice when i save the icons to my desktop and then apply to my phone is that there are little white edges on the corners of the icons. is this by design? or am i missing something?
also, would it be possible to create an icon for the app drawer?

Top-notch icons, look great on my n1. If you're taking requests, might I suggest an icon for cyanogens DSP settings app or a graphic equalizer type look. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent looking.
Zipped them...

As long as you save them in .png format then the transparency should remain. If you save them in .jpg then you'll get white corners.
Is it all, or just some?

~ games icon: SNES controller inspiration
~ gmail icon: patterned after the Gmail Android Theme. I thought it would look good to recreate Andy as an icon
~ market icon: patterned after the WebOS market icon. Again, I thought it would look good
~ music icon: saw a great pic of a cassette, and wanted to reproduce it in vector form
~ I look everywhere for ideas, but make 95% of my own graphics
~ I use Inkscape, which uses svg, so there is no psd for the template
~ There is really no template, I use a rounded-corner square and a little dropshadow

These look sick! This is actually EXACTLY what I had in mind for the set up I'm trying to put together. Two questions--
Do you have a rough idea on when you might release the first set?? (I'll try them now if you want!! )
Once released, will you make icons for certain apps based on requests?

I hope to have a week or so of some previews, then release a beta set to a few peeps; I want to have them tested on a variety of phones and resolutions. I will definitely keep you in mind when i release a beta, since you were the first to respond .
I will take requests down the road. Soon I will post a list of what I have created so far.

I have three market icons right now, and none of them resemble the stock icon. I am typically going for things different from the norm, but I will see what I can come up with. Thanks for the feedback.

I use Launcher 7 also. These were originally designed as 'tiles', hence the name 'panels'. If they do well, I will probably rework them (by sharpening the corners and deleting the dropshadow) into different size tiles, 2x1 and 1x2s.

EDIT: OK, so here is a small update including some requests. Also included in the zip is a CS5 .ai file that I have used as the base for these. Fonts are 'Arial Regular' for the headers and 'Dimitri Swank' for the text based icons. Dimitri Swank is available for free from most of the usual font repositories so I won't be putting it up here.
Thanks for the kind words so far folks, now let your skills run wild with the attached ai. Remember to keep the designs simple so that they fit nicely.

Awesome right? As you can see it is available in 2 versions, frameless and black frame with 6 characters: White Bird, Red Bird, Black Bird, Blue Bird, Yellow Bird and the King Pig. I tried to refrain from using curves in my icon pack and some icons didn't turn out very nice but I am very happy with this batch.
It's in 256x256px .PNG format for your phone. If you want .ICO format or other sizes you can request. Expect to see .ICO soon though now I'm just lazy to make

I would try but I don't know how to make an mtz :/ I love to try MIUI ROM but so far I only have an android tablet so I couldn't test it

Thanks dude, unfortunately most of the icon pack have frames, they vary with black frames, or even white frames, most of the apps I did have 2 or 3 icons lol, now I'm thinking how do I seperate them when I release them ._.

change the name of the theme doesn't mean it's yours... as you said it's a theme for iOS. you just changed the names of the icons

My views do not necessarily represent those of Schnedi, but I'd say he's calling you out on this being your creation. I believe "your theme" deserves to be recognized as "a good port"....at best. You did mention my theme in your OP (although non-descriptive as it is), but didn't really give credit.
First, thank you Schnedi for bringing this to my attention. My name is Sk37cH, and I'm a contributor of community works, to both the iPhone, and to a lesser extent, Android. The icons are from my theme m!n!ma!. Nearly every image used was created from scratch using illustrator. The clock cogs for example, are drawn by hand, not sourced from vector packs. I have given credit to the appropriate people in the first post of my theme, so you are also depriving them of the credit they deserve.
I do however thank you for your contributions, and don't wish to take anything away from what you've done. I know how hard it is re-naming and packaging things, but it's the easy part compared to sitting in front of a blank template for hours. I mean, Tweet-E.....that has be given credit. You may not see the work in the public PSD (I wonder why I flattened those layers?), but all those layers are vector in my master PSDs, because I drew him from scratch
Here's the bit you forgot to mention:
