I just flashed FroYo 0.6.7 on emmc.
I loaded all the gapps via the nookdevs instructions.
I logged into YouTube and Gmail just fine.
But when launching the Market, I get this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I've tried the following:
- Hitting retry 1000 times
- Resetting Wi-Fi (Turning off and back on)
- Rebooting multiple times
- Force Stopping on Market
- Clearing the Google Framework data, etc.
But so far nothing has worked. Does anyone know what the heck could be the issue here?
Join the club. Im having the same problems and reading around it sounds a few others are as well. I've totally reflashed Nookie Froyo 3 times already and still no luck.
Yep. Same issue here. Tried factory resetting. Reflashing several times. Even tried signing in to the Google account through YouTube, market, and gmail. No luck.

Yeah, that's the frustrating part. It seems all other Google Apps work *except* for the Market. What in the heck is the deal here?

Something weird is happening to the Android Market.
When i open it i get this message: "No matching content in Android Market"

When i press the Apps tab i get this weird screen:
The items that have some apps mentioned can load the apps. The other just don't open anything but a blank list.
I tried force stopping the app, clearing the cache and the data, but i get the same thing.
I'm on FRF50.
UPDATE: All the categories now show the apps. But the rest of the changes are there.
Seems I'm not the only one: http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/23/android-market-is-down-showing-zero-apps/

Might be due to the official 2.2 release.
Just a few minutes before this happened i saw the Update all button for the first time. I wasn't getting it at all before.
There must be something going on...
Its back now. I'm curious what they changed....
I have had this problem for 2 days now, everything in the live wallpaper section for free and just in I'd like this, but the top paid is just fine
Hi,
I have come acrros the same issue. But now I am not getting the Error.
Do the below process and check .
Settings--> Applications--> Manage applications-->Market.
In that clear the "cache" and "Clear the Data". Then it will work

Thanks. I tried that, put the appbrain app on my tablet and tried to install, but I keep getting requested item not found. It's not showing up in my market, even though I did the market fix.
I had to download it to my phone and then transfer the apk file. Works fine though once its installed. I am running on tnt lite 3.1.4
Click @the bottom where it says download apk. http://www.netshet.org/2011/01/03/tank-hero-android-game-download-out-of-beta-now/
It is in my Market and works- VEGAn 5.1 beta
EDIT: and now that I have done the "Full Market Fix" and have most other Apps, it is gone!! LOL. Oh Well.
Same here

Yeah, me too.
I purchased some apps, did the market fix, and lost them in "My Apps".
Then, when I flashed to Vegan5.1, the apps listed under "My Apps" changed again.
Good thing I backed them up, but the missing ones don't update.
Anyway, Tank Hero is fun!
Thanks guys!

For the hell of it I decided to try the market fix again (after already getting 99% of the market back) to see if it made a difference. I deleted the cache and data in the app manager, and rebooted. Opened the market and voila - Tank Hero and all the other apps I was missing showed up.
start the Market and then do the market fix with the market running... restart and you should have Tank Hero
I'm trying out CM10.1 JB using Safestrap, and I'm having some problems, the worst of which is I can't install Evernote.
I was using the CM10.1 Targa, the 4-15 afternoon "nightly build", with latest GApps (the one dated 20130315)
It downloads the latest from Play Store, then gives an "error (-24)" in the notification, and the install aborts. Then the notification went away and there's no evidence of I ever tried to install it.
I've seen similar messages from some of the apps I ran fine on 4.0 ICS (official) like SeeCPU but I can live without those. But I need Evernote. (the website ain't the same)
I've also have problems with Play Books and Drive / Docs, and Play Music. I've reset data on those three apps but they refuse to work (and also ate up my battery life). So right now they are uninstalled. Play store initially crashed but after a data reset worked fine.
What is error -24?

Here's a screenshot of the error.
I've since noticed that Pulse (the news reader) won't install either, same error.
ROM Manager just quits immediately after run
Same thing happened with the 0420 build.
I got the Play Music problem resolved by uninstalling the app then going into Play Store to install it from scratch. There's some old settings cached that's cuasing problems. Not even clear data will solve this. had to be full uninstall / install.
Google Books got the same -24 install problem.
A full factory reset and wipe / reinstall made the problem go away. So at least now someone knows what NOT to do.

I do use it a lot, it just seems unusually high. It's normally below screen, but not in the past week.
Having the same issue as you. On Nexus 5 though. Android 5.1.1.
Some websites are saying people are facing this issue when they're off wifi and using mobile data. I am always on wifi though. Uninstalling all Chrome updates fixed this issue for me, although now I am on a much older version. Let me know if you found a better fix.

Factory reset did the trick, but don't know how long that will last.

Here's what I did yesterday and Chrome has been really good for the last 24 hours which has been the longest streak so far.
Uninstalled all updates, cleared all data, installed the update, then opened it and logged in.
Hey there!
So a couple days ago I noticed Google Maps just not working at all on my phone. When I enter an address as a destination, it will show me the path I'm supposed to take, but then the blue arrow that shoes my location just doesn't move, regardless of whether or not I am moving.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling updates, tried different GPS services (Waze also didn't work), I've tried messing with the Location settings
Can anyone help?

Are you on stock ROM or custom ROM?
Try two things:
1) Download TopNTP from the Play store. Use default installation instructions. Reboot. Tell me if you get a GPS lock.
TopNTP

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I use GPS every day with CM 12.1, with Waze. But I use that TopNTP GPS helper...
2) Re-flash stock radio image via fastboot.
_______
If neither of those help, and you are on a custom ROM, then
3) you may have to temporarily re-install stock ROM, get a GPS lock -- then re-install your custom ROM.
If you are on stock ROM already, then my only suggestions are #1 and #2.
Your first fix did the trick! Thank you!
