SMSmachine allows you to create and store unlimited SMS templates you can quickly send with a couple of taps, doing more in less time.
You can also create placeholders of different types for each template, so the app will prepare the SMS syntax by asking you just the placeholders (if any) and text it right away. No extra nor repetitive typing anymore!
Common uses? Many, for example:
✔ With people: to tell you will call back, a birthday salutation, say you are arriving at any specific time, arriving late, recurrent meeting/event, etc.
✔ To recharge or pay your cell phone bill.
✔ For SMS banking operations and any kind of SMS command based systems.
✔ Have customers/clients? Send them standarized text messages.
Or any particular usage you wish!
Download SMS machine (lite)
Download SMS machine (full)
Or SMS machine (pro) (plus 'my location' placeholder type)
Lite version limitations:
Can only send to single SMS recipient at a time
Has Ads
Cannot add location placeholders.

I really liked the presentation and styling of this app.
Is there a way within the app to save a list of people to send to? I would love to send to a group of people (like for poker) etc...
I really like the app, but saving a number to a template seems to be buggy.
If I use a template with a saved number, that number isn't displayed and the SMS will be send to 123 instead of my number. If I click on the choose number thingy in the template (not the editor) and press the back hardware button, then the number chosen in the editor will be displayed and used.
And I would like to be able to send messages to a group of people as well.
Thanks for the feedback. There is actually an issue in saving the SMS number, will be fixed in next update. I will also pass the suggestion about the contacts group.
New update 1.3/1.4 features SMS variables of type timestamp, datestamp and location-stamp*! App will now also inherit the device theme colors.
* On lite version only coordinates can be sent. Full version allows sending map image with themed color phone marker.
- Lite version (free)
- Full version (on sale at $1.99)
Nice
Having a similar app in the market I can say that you have really created a visually appealing experience for the end user. Great job =)

What It Does
QuickText is a Windows Phone 7 application that lets you quickly send pre-defined group text messages - within 2 taps!
The main feature of QuickText is SPEED. It loads quickly and the user can navigate through the app quickly. Once groups and messages have been configured, it only takes 2 taps to get a group text message ready to send. Load app, select the group, select the message, and you're done.
You can define Groups (a collection of Contacts), Messages, and Group-specific Messages. Contact information (phone number or email) can be imported from your phone's people hub, or entered manually.
Future versions will have support for Message Variables such as the current date/time, gps location, etc.

After finally having a new emailing service in place, I am happy to announce the release of SMS Forwarder Pro. An SMS Forwarding app that does so much more than just forward your text messages to any number and/or email that you specify.
AndroidAppsReview.com gave it the Editors Choice award in their review.
SMS Forwarder Pro is a tremendous value for those in need. What you make of the app is up to you, but with a fair price, tremendous functionality, and a gut-bustingly simple design, SMS Forwarder Pro earns a full recommendation from us here at Android Apps Review. The app is a power-punch for the right user, and with killer tech support rolled into the mix, your days of wondering exactly what was said to whom are officially over.

Hi,
i´ve read both sites, but few questions are hanging on me.
You have written something about stealth mode, did this mode also hide the app from the Froyo menue?
In my humble oppinion it is not very tricky for kids to discover and delete this app.
If the app is configured, is it neccessary to activate it every time, or ist there an option to "start" the service permanent?
Thanks for more information
Regards
Christian

I have the same question
Hi!
My apologies for the late reply.
Anyways, its not necessary to manually start the forwarding at boot. This can be configured from the app and its possible to have it automatically start up.
It is however, not possible to hide the app from the launcher. Even if it was, it would still be visible in the application management screen anyways, so any kid who's the least tech savvy would be able to remove it.
That said, your best bet would be to install a 3rd party launcher that has the ability to hide menu items (I believe both ADW and Launcher Pro can do this).
Hope that answers your question. I am contemplating releasing a free version of the app here on XDA for a limited time period!
New update uploaded. Fixes some layout issues on low-res devices, and improved layout alignment on all other devices!
Task'd is the premiere task manager and to-do list app for Android™ devices. It was designed with the user in mind to be beautiful, functional, and simple. The goal is to help you, the user, better manage your priorities and schedule.
The user interface is intuitive, with clearly marked and recognizable icons. Everything is right at your fingers, not hidden inside some obscure menu or tab. Editing a task is as simple as clicking it in the main list. Want to delete a task? Just long-press it and click delete.
Each task you create must have a name and a priority. Optionally, it can also have a due date and a description containing more details.
You can sort your tasks by priority (default), due date, order added, and alphabetically. You can also change the date format if you use a different standard than the default MM-DD-YYYY.
The full version of Task'd also includes a 4x1 homescreen widget that allows you to see all your tasks, or create a new one.
The free version will always remain one update behind the full version. Currently, it is only lacking the widget. Once the full version receives an update, the free version will get the widget, but not the new features. Bug fixes will still be rolled out as necessary.
Of course, the obligatory screenshots are attached at the end of the post. As for the QR codes with Market links:

Quick Dialer is a fast and reliable speed dial app for Mango.
Quick Dialer features a qwerty keypad to search trough both contact names and phone numbers (searches trough all numbers and is optimized to avoid problems with location/country codes).
Besides the qwerty keyboard it also has the option to switch to a phonepad for T9 style contact searches, both names and phonenumbers, for an input longer than 4 digits only phone number matches are being returned.
For speed improvements the contact images are switched off by default (however if you like you can switch this on in the settings).
The app is simple and elegant, yet has all the basic features, like adding a contact, calling mobile/home/work/etc numbers and also gives the option to send a text if the contact has a mobile number.
* Only contacts with a phone number will be returned (because its a dialer )
* To quickly dial a number not in your contact list, simply type in the number (you can also paste the number) and click on the dial# icon.

Great! Your the man
If you use VoIP.ms as your phone service, then you'll find my newest app of great interest. The people at VoIP.ms published an API for 3rd-party apps to access most (though NOT QUITE ALL) of the functionality found on their web portal. My app implements 100% of the available API and let’s you do pretty much anything you might need to do to maintain you VoIP.ms service.
[Requirements]
Devices running Jelly Bean 4.1.2 or higher. It has been tested on various Lollipop devices.
[Features]
- Consistent U/I that is presented as a series of viewers and editors that wrap the various "elements" that make up your VoIP.ms account: DIDs, Sub-Accounts, Filters, Voicemails, Ring Groups, Forwards, Callbacks, DISAs, Queues, Recordings, IVRs, SIP URIs, Time Conditions, and Phonebook.
- Extensions to the “flat” data model used by VoIP.ms, especially in the form of Filter Groups, and Phonebook entries that group all of the numbers for a given name into a single entry.
- Order a DID directly from your smartphone.
- Import multi-number phonebook entries from your Android phonebook into VoIP.ms.
- SMS support with background polling for new messages (as VoIP.ms does not support push SMS).
- Full-featured Call Log that goes above-and-beyond the facilities provided by VoIP.ms. You can use Filter Actions (a function of my app that isn’t part of the VoIP.ms API) to color-code entries in your log, and even decide which ones to leave out of the log.
- Easy creation of Filters or Phonebook entries directly from the Call Log, or add a number to an existing Filter Group.
- Copy phone numbers from the Call Log into your phone’s clipboard.
- Dial numbers directly from the Call Log.
- Support for RESELLER functions provided in the API. If you are a VoIP.ms reseller, you can administer quite a bit from your smartphone.
- Voice Recorder, so that you can create and upload voice recordings directly to VoIP.ms.
- Create home page icons that take you directly to the Call Log or to SMS.
[Google Play]
The app comes as a FREE app with a PAID license key. The license key unlocks the full power of the app.
