In "settings"-->"SD card and phone storage" you can first unmount and then format either the internal or the external SD card.
As mimocan said in his own thread, try gparted.

[Q] Moving apps to SD card

Hi there,
This is a bit of a noob question.
When I go to system setting I see 3 memory storage.
1. Internal phone storage
2. Internal SD card
3. External SD card
My question is, by default, do apps get installed on internal phone storage?
Cos it's only around 2GB.
Also, when you move apps to SD card by going into setting-applications,
does it move to internal SD card or External SD card??
Many thanks in advance!

A couple Micro SD card questions

A have been thinking about getting a micro SD card card for a while and I had a few questions.
1. I read about micro SD and some sort of micro sdxc. What exactly is the difference and does it matter?
2. Does class matter? I read conflicting reviews about what class a cell phone can actually utilize.
3. I just updated to the new viper one 4.2.0 rom from their kitkat version, will I need to do another clean flash if I want to utilize the SD card? Can I just move the emulated SD card to the SD card and call it good?
4. Will I need to use an app like apps2sd to move them or do the automatically install?
5. Is it possible to treat the internal and SD card like you would an ssd and an hdd? For example have system apps and general use apps on the internal and have all the Google music and media on the SD card?
6. This is the SD card I was looking at. What do you think? http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-MicroSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B007WTAJTO

If you got a solve for this problem someone, get an advice please. My only solve is that: dont move appliactions on sd card, only games i have on sd card now. Sorry for bad english.

encryption to sd card

Hey devs is there any way to remove the type of encryption that lenovo make while formating the SD Card As Internal storage so, it cant be used in any other device after formating it as internal storage
There were many important files in my sd card but now i cant access to my lenovo phone and i need that data from that SD Card To Pc via a card reader but there's that type of encryption in my sd card is preventing me to do this as it is formated as internal storage
So is there any way to get data from my sd card without having my phone?

No way. Internal storage format was made to be usable only with the phone. That's why it is "INTERNAL" format.
Phone is necessary.
Also, another recommendation. Do NOT turn on your phone with internal formatted SD card out of device.
