So, your phone turns on and gets "stuck" at the At&t screen or your phone doesn't power at all?
Come on man, Quoting Infuse and Captivate forums? You should definitely only take advice from the GS2 forum, here's the link, sorry I can't be of more help!

Yes you can. There are lots of useful posts here guiding you through and holding your hand, but *you* need to spend 5 minutes looking for them, OK?
I don't know which ROM you are on, but generally GB has been very reliable. You might wish to reflash the rom or flash another version.
As a start, look at this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
Thank you very much for your help

Your request does require you to take time reading and trying out. Probably 2 hours of reading/learning time, 1 hour installation of software and trying out.
If you are at all unsure about any of this or if it's simply too much hard work, take your phone back to a Samsung Care Point and explain your problem. They will reflash it for you.

Your only solution is to take the Note to the service centre. Your motherboard needs to be replaced.
You should've never attempted to flash Paranoid from LPY directly.
again another incommode to be african, in africa, we don have service center here,
My call is dead, for ever !
Thx for the answer...
i found that : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257434

Yes you do, in at least 13 African countries. Have you looked here?

How much longer is this bricking going to continue? Are people bricking and THEN getting on XDA for help only to find out there is nothing they can do but get the mobo replaced?
Or are people just not READING the forum? There are so many brick posts its ridiculous.

[Q] [CWM] [Recovery] S7275R Galaxy Ace 3

Hi peeps, its the end of the year 2013. And my previously owned galaxy ace is dying out of slowness, incapability and lagginess.
I've now got the new Galaxy ace 3.
Just rooted it with vroot and installed SuperSU.
Though im yet to find any proper CWM that is capable with this phone.
The usual methods that uses Odin and flashing the PDA doesn't work for me.
Any help is appreciated
PS, XDA doesnt recognize Galaxy Ace 3 yet and please do let me know if i've posted in the wrong place.
Sharing is caring, respect is all the wealth we need.
I got the Ace III about a day after you and have already managed to brick it :crying:
So if you make any progress with CWM or Odin etc please post back.
It's such a good little phone I'd hate to give up on it.
Thanks

OK, thanks. In case any Ace 3 ace is reading, any assistance editing the vold.fstab would be appreciated. The format is different from what I was expecting.

Looks like the same one from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548856
I've been holding that one in reserve since my phone model appears to suggest it will not be compatible - and I'm in the "Twice shy" phase of my meddling
Thanks for that though. I'm also investigating obackup (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2040507&page=478) as an alternative to CWM, no luck there yet either. I'm in an unfamiliar position of having a fairly new device
EDIT - Just occurred to me that message was probably for the OP, still - thanks.

Hi there..
First of all excuse me for my english .. I'm french !
Here is the problem :
On of my friend have a GT-i9003 with unactive download mode and recovery.
He tried to re active them with ODIN and "a file " as show in a tuto (he said, but doens't remember which one )
Of course I bet it wasn't the right files because ODIN stopped an nothin else happened so he disconnected the phone and now :
sad black screen - No reaction as I connect the power adaptor - no reaction to the combination of vol- home power button ....
Any suggestion ?....

a little UP...I really need help guys ....
Sorry mate, the I9003 forum is different to here.
Sounds like though he may need a USB jig to get himself out of this problem, he may have run into a bit of a brick.

Yes, get the USB jig, you can buy it on eBay for about 2€
After that use Odin 1.83 as admin and flash DDLF2
And Soryyu told you right, this is i9000 thread, don't use it anymore and post in Galaxy SL threads. I accidentally know your phone model well enough.
tetakpatalked from Nexus 7 flo
Ok, thx, I'm gonna buy and try ...
Thanks a lot
