HTC Home not showing?

I just upgraded to the official WM6 Dutch, and downloaded some HTC Home's posted on these forums. Now ALL of them give me a empty space on my today screen, and i SO love that Home screen.
Does ANYONE have a solution to this problem? Resets and reinstalls dont work either.

i read about this, but I dont remeber where I saw it, I belive it was something about renaming the mui files within the cab to your country code or something?

The dutch country code is 0413

I already upgraded this morning to the official WM6, but i cannot get the HTC touch home plugin or HTC kaiser home plugin to work, i get an blank screen, how can i fix this? Also the same thing for the HTC dialer pad from the touch, i get blank frames. So how do i need to get the HTC home plugin to work?

Look for the 0409 files associated with the home plugin, and change the 0409 in 0413!

Ok, I want us to stick to one post if possible, for tips on how to in.ex make the HTC Home to work on our native languages.

Here it explains how to rename the mui files in windows so that the HTC home will work:
I did following
Installed Total commander
I went to windows folder, I selected all files and folders, then properties, unchecked "read only"
Then I renamed
HTCHome.dll.0409.mui -> HTCHome.dll.0414.mui
HTC HDlg.exe.0409.mui ->HTC HDlg.exe.0414.mui
HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml -> HH_0414_WeatherCities.xml
htcbtql.dll.0409.mui -> htcbtql.dll.0414.mui
(0414 is the norwegian countrycode)
then voila, HTC Home on my norwegian wm6

This commManager works great and I have no problems at all with it
New 26.08 Tips from fultotop regarding problems with installing the touch dialer in wm6 :
To Install reTouched Dialer you need to :
1. Delete delete this registry key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\PhoneCanvas
2. Install Wizard_reTOUCHed_Dialer2.cab
New 26.08 Fultotop have provided a reg fix.

just import to your registry with a reg edit program (total commander, link provided further up in this post)(see attachments for the reg file)

Now, thats weird. I could install it without any problems. Just accept any security warning and install it to the device. Don't know any more ways to "fix" it?

I forgot i had my cable attached to my Herald, thus enabling comm manager, thus not installing.
With no cable attached installed perfectly.

Could you please please please look at that registry entry for me? I need it for my WiFi button to work

I installed this and changed the codes to 041D (Swedish) and my Herald wouldnt boot again.. I had to reflash it with the Wm6 RUU.

u need to kill Comm Manager before u install it. If Comm Manager is still running in the background, itll give u that error. Close it properly first.
Btw the 9 button with 3g comm manager seems to be working fine. Wlan works on my herald (htc wm6)

I've tried the Wizard_reTOUCHed_Dialer2.cab for the new dialer, but could get it to display correctly, but it uninstalled fine.

I actually Use a French WM6.5 ROM for My Xperia based on a HD2 ROM
My problem is that my computer see the Xperia as a HD2 I found some keys in registry under the name "HD2"
My question is what defaut is value for Xperia in
HKLM>Ident>Name
HKLM>Ident>OrigName
HKLM>Software>Microsoft>ActiveSync>DeviceModel
Is there others keys to modify to have the good phone in my synch center?

Go to your Device Info and edit it in your System Settings.
or
If you have Advanced Configuration Tool you can just go to that and edit it from there under Network. If you don't have it you can go to my signature under "X1 Stuff" and download it from there.

It's not the "name" of the phone I wanna change but the "type"
My phone is named as I want but it's seen as a HD2.

this is general section, not rom related, but well...
all keys listed by you are filled with rom name/version info, so that's probably not what you are looking for
but in \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\DeviceManufacturer it says "X1"

And for DeviceModel?
Can someone upload the default /windows/sync.ico for the X1 for a test please?

well, my current value there is "Valkyrie v5"

I saw that keys are modulable
All We have to do is change the keys as we want (I change DeviceManufacturer by SonyEricsson and Device Model By Xperia)
I'll try to replace the default Icon when I found It

New HTC rom, help needed

Hi,
I've instaled the new htc stock rom it looks good by i have 2 problems:
- my secreen needs calibration and i don't no where to go to do it, i've tryed all menu from start and setting and i cant find the option.
- where can I change the owner name i have some app that need it.
I remenber that in previous version he had to enebled it via registry (but I've forgoten the key)
Can anyone please assist?
