[Q] Just want a spare battery and charger - Nexus S Accessories

Anyone know anywhere in Europe I can buy?
Gx

the battery used on Samsung i908 is compatible to Nexus S. I'm using the one made by Momax. BTW, I'm in China, and I'm not sure the brand is available in Europe.

Orginal Defy+ HF5X 1700mAh battery :)

Hi
I found the orginal battery for Defy+/Photon http://www.store.motorola.com/Batte...olor_map,price,size_name&searchRank=salesrank
ok, so it says in the website that it's compatible with Motorola Photon/ Electrify.
Not in the Defy?
HF5X its also battery for Defy+ , and battery from Defy+ fit to old Defy I do not know why they did not write that is compatible with Defy + but the symbol is correct HF5X
so can we use this with normal defy?
Battery will fit into the old Defy. However, other technology implementation requires modification of the battery module in the system.
For example Defy + users have a problem with charging the battery to full in the system created for the old Defy (MIUI, CM7).
The opposite situation can be when we put to the old Defy battery with higher capacity from Defy + (not tested)
waiting for a solution / patch
Any news on this issue? Does anyone use the 1700mAh battery in Defy and with positively improved battery life?
On MSginger 2.0 you have battd from defy +, just copy and paste it into your phone, change a permission and should work I can't get round to do it myself lol
Sent from my MB525 using XDA Premium App
Where can I buy the original HF5X battery in the UK?
(The battery life on my Defy+ aint exactly brilliant!)
Thanks

10.59$ (with free shipping) < 49.99$ that`s almost 5x smaller price and 1800mah. I hope it will work fine and gonna bring the results here as soon it arrives It is BF5X model so it must be compatible with old Defy
I suppose so this 1800mAh is only chinese capacity

I thik if you'll be lucky that battery lasts half of an original defy one
But please let us to know
And if you're unlucky it may catch fire while charging it ^^. Inform yourself on the dangers of such cheap batteries, that often lack a temperature safeguard, and all sorts of other important stuff. Batteries aren't just chemical cells, there should be electronics and security in them too

Hi,
Anyone has tested this or this for Defy+?
Is there a way to properly use Defy+ battery in normal Defy? What are the advantages? Someone did that?
All,
I have motorola MB525 defy bought in September 2011. Last week, my phone battery got deep discharged and the phone won't boot even after plugging in the charger.
As the phone was under warranty, i got the battery replaced yesterday but i got HF5X 1700mAh (the one in Defy+) as replacement. The service centre guy said that it would work with my Defy.
I kept the phone on charging for more than 12 hours continuously but the battery keeps charging and battery level is not going beyond 80%.
Can anyone please suggest what should i do? Is there any kind of S/W patch that can help? If yes, where can i get it from & how do I use it?
Battery fix. I dont know if it works..

Cheap batteries on ebay

www.ebay.com/itm/2x-3500mAh-Battery...axy-Note-2-II-32GB-GT-N7100-new-/170915299426
It's the same label of the cheapo batteries/charger I've used for my n7000 and mytouch 4g.
They're nothing to get excited about, but for the price, you can't complain.
The shipping takes FOREVER though, so I'd suggest ordering immediately if you want them.
You'll still probably get your phone long before you get the batteries.
3100 mah battery or not, some games just eat your battery.

Anybody purchased this item from ebay? The quote is taken from the ebay listing link posted by the OP. Just be careful when ordering from ebay. I'm sure its probably just a typo from the seller, but ya never know which item he means to ship.
The ebay url youve put there is not for batteries for the note II. The note II takes a 3100mah battery your url is for 1980mah batteries but I have seen some on ebay that are for the note II. I had ebay replacement batteries and charger for my note and I have no complaints. I will be buying some later today or tomorrow.

Got them in the mail - typical hong kong shipping of 2 weeks.
They are exactly the same nature as the Note 1 batteries of similar look/brand.
They don't hold nearly as much charge as the stock battery. But bang/buck, they do quite well.
After gaming for a while (several hours) I was actually startled to see a low battery warning.
That isn't so much of a slam on these batteries, as it is a compliment to the OEM battery.
I think having these batteries as backups is perfectly fine. I'd still use the OEM as a daily driver though.

any opinions ?
Hong Kong should call their auction site fakeBay. Bought several camera batteries in the past and well its clear they just stick an extra zero on whatever capacity they have. E.g.5000 mAh battery for note2 is really 500mAh.
Save ya pennies and buy from a reliable source.
Edit- nearly forgot, 1000 mAh AAA batteries for cordless phone held less charge than the knackered 500 mAh that came with the phones. BTA i think they were. Woeful.

I would avoid those no name chinese batteries on ebay until the Mugen or Anker ones come out.

Lost BATTERY! Fastest way to get a new one!

Don't ask how!...but yeah, have my beautiful GNote2 all dark and dead here. All I'm seeing are China batteries with 2 week deliveries.

Thanks.
There is another thread on this forum regarding batteries, probably best to try there, or amazon/ebay
Get the note 1 oem battery and stick some tape wedge them. Official oem note 2 battery is not available yet. It s coming soon to handtec.co.uk for about 30 $.

Batteries from China are a hit or miss. I've bought batteries from two different sellers on Ebay for my Nexus S. One worked well, the other died in about a month and wouldn't hold a charge. Just ordered two batteries and a charger for my note 2 for about $25. Will see how they turn out.

Same question - just spotted these, anyone tried them?
The gold ones are really a lower than factory mah rating. They just put a new sticker over the original battery. I advise to stay away feom any brand other than oem, anker, or onite.

Battery Replacement from ebay

After the battery that came with my note stopped charging i decided to buy a replacement. So what do you think guys about this?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121393966563
I have already bought it but i don't know if its really genuine. Feedback about the batteries they have selled so far is good. Batteries for my phone in my country cost 40 euros so i thought that this is a good offer but what if my phone gets damaged after using this battery? How do i recognize fake batteries?
Zerolemon plain and simple I paid 44. 95 for it makes the phone heavy but that's OK I like weight battery last 3 days

No, they're not genuine and will very likely not be true capacity.
If you're looking for a standard capacity aftermarket battery I would highly recommend these..
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B208QDU/
I use them every single day as I just keep 3 batteries charged via a external wall charger and just swap batteries when needed instead of leaving phone plugged in. They last as long as my genuine battery does.
As mentioned above though, If you want an external you cant beat the ZeroLemon
PS. In future please use search, We already have plenty of eBay/battery topics so you could have just replied to one of them or read them and not needed to. Opening topics like this just adds to an already cluttered forum.
Not to sound like Anker fan-boy lol!!!, but www.amazon.co.uk/Anker®-3100mAh-Battery-Samsung-GT-N7100/dp/B009OWLTLO/ - those are highly reliable and on US amazon have hundreds of 5-star reviews. Actually, I prefer their 2x battery + wall charger combo for $25: www.amazon.com/3100mAh-Batteries-T-Mobile-Cellular-EB595675LA/dp/B009SYL6C0/ - convenient to use one while charging the other one and swap it. Well, i currently live in Cyprus so i can only order from the amazon uk and on amazon uk the shipping is very expensive so i can only buy from ebay. I don't know about anker batteries. Are they good?

I never had issues with them and reviewed all of their batteries, internal and external. Just so people wouldn't think that I'm biased because i review a lot of their stuff, just go to US Amazon and search for their products, typically hundreds and sometime thousands of 5-star reviews for their external batteries and internal batteries.

I tried waiting at Samsung web site for over 3 weeks for a battery, with no response, I have 2 note 4, black and white for me and my wife...
my 4 older Samsung batteries and 2 charger kits and they don't hold a charge anymore, from about 10 - 15 percent left, they shut down...
I just bought anker batteries on ebay with a charger for about $31, they hold a charge to 1%.. about 2 weeks ago.
they are lasting much better than the samsungs. and buying Samsung batteries on ebay or amazon.. u might be getting these fake batteries that don't last..

The ones on Amazon are 99% fake knock offs which risk fire. Any story you have read online about a phone catching fire is usually either a result of a cheap knock off battery or adapter.
The only two places that have Note 4 batteries still are 100% legit.
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EB-BN910BBUSTA
and the Best Buy kit I posted earlier in the thread. Anywhere else is questionable.
If a big box store gets them like B & H they will be legit too.
Amazon's inventory has been proven to be compromised. Several have posted online about their batteries even "shipped and sold by amazon" had been clones.
In case you didnt know this happens often on Amazon. The SD Card market and perfume market on Amazon even from Amazon is also like this.
I'm using the Zerolemon 10000mah battery, also if there is a Batteries+ they stock standard replacement batteries for most phones.
Im very happy with Anker bought on Amazon.

I would recommend the one from Anker, same capacity as OEM from a reputable brand that makes batteries. It also comes with 18 month warranty and a bit cheaper than OEM one. If you still want the OEM one make sure it is shipped and sold by Amazon.com and you should be fine.

1 battery can last me one day, sometimes down to 30 percent, depends on what I am doing, other times, down to 20 and under.. but it makes the day, then I swap and use the other, but only when it drains to 1 2 or 3...
they are better than all these knock off, I think I paid $31.. but they are better than all my old ones put together, wait till my wife come back from vacation, she will definitely take 1, then I will have 4 old batteries. then I have to test the old batteries and anything that shuts down from 20 or 15 percent is getting retired, junked out..
maybe I will have to buy another set to be happy..

I just Re-read your post, you did say that. Well I got (hopefully) the same thing, I think I paid $32 to be exact. Fingers crossed.
I'm waiting on these in the mail. I wonder if they will be good? Ebay item 201375415018 How would I tell if they are fakes?
I'm waiting for my anker package with 2 batteries and an external charger myself.
I read in another thread, they blame the quick charge 2.0 puck for damaging the batteries. Saying the increase voltage pushed to the battery for fast charging is what kills the life of the battery.
So my question is, those who have replaced Samsung with aftermarket batteries, are you still charging at night with the Samsung qc2.0? Or just using a 1amp or 2amp charger?
Help appreciated.
Mostly use the old 2A charger to prolong battery longevity. Need a quick boost? Adaptive fast charger or turbo charger from moto.
I unlocked your mum's bootloader.
Well I disabled fast charge option on the phone so it should be charging at a "normal" rate now and not the high voltage charging.
So far these anker batteries seem excellent, at least compared to my very degraded original samsung batteries. A deal for 2 Batts and a external charger Imho.
The more I use regular charging, my battery appears to improve and return to normal. All this only supports my reservation towards devices with sealed batteries.
