I see a LOT of great themes in this section...absolutely amazing.
Unfortunately I have a Nexus One....and being that our community is a lot smaller we have a paltry selection of themes....
I noticed that a lot of themes here lack HDPI support...and I was wondering if any kind fellow here could either port their themes they make to HDPI devices or if someone else can (with permission) pick up a theme and port....
It'd be great and the entire HDPI android scene would be pleased.
Suavesque is free to port. :]

I've been getting a lot of pm's asking for HDPI version of my theme.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7208540#post7208540
I'm working on it myself, I've grabbed most files from Nexus CM6 and I'm working with that specifically. Either way its free to port if you have the time and beat me to it... or you could help me out lol
well I can't do .9 pngs, suck at XML, have no clue how to do metamorphs or pack update.zips and know nothing about .jar files for framework....
but I can make a mean mockup. lol

yea 480 x 800 (or in the case of Droid and Droid X 480 x 854)
the resolutions for things are what you'd really need to know though right?
I know app icons have an area of 72 x 72...that's pretty mcuh all i know off the top of my head though.

The reason why there are not many HDPI themes in this section goes back a long time when the G1 and MT3G were the only android phones...
The thread is here. Some "genious" decided to move all the G1 themes to the android themes section, so it became the de jure place for G1 themes. When other android phones came out, they did not enforce them to move the themes to this section. Now G1 themes almost exclusively go in here de facto and themes for other phones go in their respective phone sections. It's a messed up system, but you gotta live with it.
METAMORPH THEME
This is a super quick (and dirty) port of the rEVOlution theme by manup.
Its not complete but most of the important parts are in it
if people are interested then ill try and add more
if i shouldnt put this up then pull it
Again i didnt make this just ported it to mdpi and put it in a metamorph so anyone can use it

This is great, but there are a couple of things that are still way to big (lockscreen, check boxes and radio button e.t.c). If someone can point me to where I can get the images sizes for MDPI I am happy to resize them, I just don't know what size they are supposed to be :S

same here... check boxes, radio buttons, text boxes and dropdowns are HUGE!
and could you post a screenshot so we know what has been changed... like the 3G and signal icons? Mine didn't change to the look like the ones in the thread you posted.
He wrote that uploaded theme is wrong and upload the MDPI late on. For those who don't know the size of MDPI .png you can view them from your original MDPI folder in framework-res.apk
I can help with resize too
I have been watching this thread for a while to see if it would be updated, but no luck...if anyone has any luck porting or getting the proper size icons and whatnot, I would be very interested in the theme...
oh... i thought the new one was already uploaded... i guess i'll just have to have some patience then

The status bar is the right resolution, but pretty much everything else is still too big. I am looking at resizing the rest myself, but I am having trouble with the .9 files. I have been reading tutorials but still, very confusing...

Use the LCD density changer app, I'd upload but I can't right now. If you set it to 120 everything will look better. Try that.
many of u have seen the screen shots and u kno it works. the key factor is that this theme ( personal experience here ) works best on a 2.2 ( froyo ) rom.
yes some things are still out of wack.. but the status bar and notifications flow almost perfectly, the rest can be changed by the user anyways.
First off, all credit to Stewart1champ for his theme WATERMARK'D that I believe is the most polished theme there is period. After all the work of porting this to MDPI i really can't imagine how hard it was to create from scratch, hats off to Stewart1champ you are awesome....Okay,a lot of time went in to this so if you like, dislike, want something changed or another HDPI theme ported to MDPI please leave feedback. This is a flashable theme so I assume everybody knows how to do this by now if there is a demand I will make a Metamorph of it but right now it is for CYANOGEN MOD 6.1.0 RC-1 ONLY!! I use ROM MANAGER install from sd card method.Due to file attachment limits I can't even come close to showing you everything that's themed so believe me when I tell you it's a very complete theme.
Here's the download link,enjoy.

While looking at the thread you posted I ran across this........"Quote"
"Do Not Redistribute this theme, make modifications, or release as your own, or upload as your own. If you would like okay to do any of these contact DarkEdge Email"
I would be happy to re-size this for you I kinda like it myself but I need you to E-mail the author and ask he's got it right there asking you not to use his work.

Dude, try and port MIUI into an MDPI theme. I'd love you forever!
It seems way too difficult to find a good looking flat black minimal theme for CM6.1 MDPI. Either of these would be awesome. :]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734046 - This would be preferable. It's perfect.

Hello,
I dont even know if this can be done or not but here it goes.
So I found this theme on the Evo thread by Abu and I really would like to use this theme. I am pretty new to this whole thing and was wondering if that is possible to get on the vibrant. here is the theme.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842460
If anyone could help or point me in the right direction I would much appreciate it. Thank You!
I am currently using a Samsung Vibrant Phone with Tmobile.
Is it possible to go between different carriers/phones to do these themes?
But it's so ugly!
Try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=737526
It works for me. (I only port mdpi themes to mdpi themes with this)

agree.
Has anybody done a Galaxy S theme for CM7 engine? Maybe the nhnt11 could do it if he's already got the framework from his NTSense theme, it'd be easy to drop in the new PNGs.
Anyway, fingers are crossed!
+1
I really want the touchwiz framework. Sense and Motoblur frameworks are out, why not touchwiz?
Find me a hdpi and mdpi framework and I'll try make one
Someone please make it
waiting for it

This should have most of what is needed for the framework, it is a theme for Cyanogenmod 6 for the Evo:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831865&highlight=galaxy+theme
I don't think there have been any MDPI phones with the modern touchwiz interface.
Here is a full rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=790080&highlight=JH7
If I get a chance I can extract just the framework folder and send it to you as well.
I would love to see this, we would have all three of the big manufacturer interfaces just a couple of clicks away.
Or a port of Nextheme which is just jazzed up galaxy s.

See this: https: / / market.android.com / details? id = com.rmgeren.theme.captivatedfree & feature = search_result not work for me (no battery status, and Statusbar.)
@kevin2516 you do not have to resize anything, theme engine does it. All you need for mdpi is title_bar_xxxx (medium, portrait) resized.
