All links pulled due to XDA Request after an XDA member complained I was only out for profits to a moderator on a few products I have. Due to the fact I link to a product or two and a few other things in many videos, I was asked to pull any content relating to this.
I will still be offering all this great material at my website. Just go to google and search for MobileTechVideos.

If anyone has issues, verify with www.megaproxy.com to determine whether your ISP is the issue. I've seen this happen off and on.

You're not going to be able to just install them, because they're system apps. Gotta use a file explorer like Root Explorer and move it to /system/apps, then do a reboot.
Sent from my Captivate.
So any feedback on this stuff?
Due to popular request, the /system/lib directory package can also be found at the link above.

NM, I have a co-worker with an Evo. I made a backup of his and sent it to me. It is not what I expected, it makes you access your account on the internet. I was hoping for something like Verizon's app.

You have to use a file manager. Go to the market and install Estrongs File Manager or any other you perfer. Once you have that installed. Download the Sprint Zone application onto your sd card on your phone. Open up the File manager you installed and locate the Sprint Zone file you downloaded. Click on it and install it to your phone. Easy as that, O also if you have not checked the install unknown sources yet it should send you to that menu before you install.

Hey folks,
I've been passing this around IRC, but I thought I'd drop it off here too. This is a compiled Eclair Spare Parts apk that I did a year or so ago for my old D1 aosp roms.
Features:
Ad free. Don't support the stolen version in the market!
Keep launcher in memory. For those launchers that don't have the option. Saves redraw time, at the expense of some memory.
http://adrynalyne.us/files/SpareParts.apk Right click save as. Install like any apk.
What's different from ad free?
Other than whats mentioned, nothing.

Weird. The name of the file is: "Spareparts.apk"
How do you get it to be a zip file?
Either way, try navigating to it in Root Explorer and see what happens when you extract.

It stinks when people steal things like that.
Hard to prove your case when lots of people in the Windows and *nix world already use the 'replace the hosts file' trick for this.
Sucks.
We all appreciate your work though, ad! Thank you for this.

The way I got Let's golf 2 back on my rooted bolt was to backup my current rom then flash jcase's ota then titanium backup let's golf on jcase's ota then wipe and restore my current rom then use titanium backup to restore let's golf.
I did that and now I have it for good.
Hope this helps.

google it. if it were a tough question to answer, i would just say it. your answer will come in 10 seconds after you do. just a hint, you have to mount it in linux (or there's ways on windows with 3rd party apps)
I paid for it too back when on release day. It would never restore after I changed roms. Never got much of a chance to play it.

If it's that simple wouldn't it have been just as easy to just answer his question?

Because I think it's better to teach him some information than just hand it to him? I've been contributing to the thread for a few posts trying to help them out. I didn't just jump on anyone to just look it up without some guidance or additional info. That and maybe I dont want to go through the steps of download the original image of the phone, extract it myself and post it here? I don't mind helping but doing that takes way more time than typing out stuff I know off the top of my head. However, if you have the game, that's what they want so feel free to post it for them.
I'm not sure what you googled...but on the first page of typing ext3 it says "How to read Ext3/Ext4 linux partition from windows 7 | Ubuntu Geek." How hard is that? Anways, ext3 is to linux as fat32 or ntfs is to windows or UDF is to a dvd/cd (they're file systems). Just find a program that extracts or mounts it or look up how to mount it directly on linux.
If you want me to find an article for you. That's a bit much since it's the difference between needing help and information and just not wanting to type a keyword into a search engine. There's plenty of tools and information out there.
There are a few ROMs out there that still have the apk for Let's Golf 2 in them.
Here is a deodexed ROM that has the apk inside.

Out of curiosity, why do you need the Verizon Voice Mail app? Since we don't have root, you couldn't have possibly deleted yours.. (or maybe you don't have a Verizon phone??)

Hey, glad I could help! I was on CM since CM7 (and still have CM for my Nexus 10, Moto G and Galaxy S3 (both are my test phones)...
But I never thought anyone would actually want Verizon apps running when they have root already lol..
If I could, I would purge them from my Droid Turbo... I HATE seeing the VM service running on my phone, so I kill it manually every time, since I can't disable it)

The easiest way for you would be to save the 2 files (rename the .zip to .odex) and click on the the .apk file with a File Manager and select "Install" when asked. Make sure you have the "Install from Unknown Sources" enabled (from Setup, Security).
Good luck!
Hi. Wondering if this will work on pretty much any VZW phone. And do you just rename the .zip to .index and place in appropriate directory? Thanks.

It should...
Rename the .zip to .odex and place both files in the same directory and use a file manager program to install. (Make sure you have the "Install from Unknown Sources" enabled.
Or if you have root, you can place them in the /system/priv-app/ directly (no need to install)
Wondering if you go this to work?
