Some instructions are different depending on the device you want to install it on but these instructions seem to work well for me on most of the phones and stuff I've used. There are other instructions and other ways of doing this so if you don't have Root Explorer installed check around.
This is just a copy of the instructions I use...I don't remember where I found them...

Is this the same animation shown at CES? The glowing honeycomb wipe?

It's a standard bootanimation - it should work on any Android device.
However, it's set to use a high screen resolution - you might want to open the zip and update the settings to be used for a 1024x600 screen.

How does one go about doing that? Is it the "desc.txt" file that we'd change?

I changed desc.txt from:
1408 880 24
p 0 0 part0
to:
1024 600 24
p 0 0 part0
...then dropped the file bootanimation.zip into /logodata using rootexplorer (renamed the original file first) and changed the permissions to match the original file.
On boot, it shows the first of the honeycomb images, but then stays on that - no animation. Am I missing something in the desc.txt file?
Thanks...
That's strange. The only thing I changed was 1408 to 1024, and 880 to 600. You saw my video. Not sure what that's about.
Also, I added the bootanimation.zip to the /logodata, /system/media, and /data/local. Maybe that has something to do with it? I only did that because adding it to /logodata alone didn't do anything.

I have had to put any new boot animation into both /media and /logodata to get them to work. Any chance someone can link a resolution edited bootanimation.zip? I wont be anywhere near my PC to edit the file for a few days.
Oh and thanks for the video jpmi23, very cool.
Thanks for the suggestion but no dice - I copied the bootanimation.zip file to the other two directories & still no animation. Not sure what's up with that. I'm running TNTLite FWIW, don't see how that would affect it. Oh well... I'll futz with it some more in my spare time...

No problem.
Wow - got it working, thanks... I copied the file down from your dropbox link - the desc.txt file looked the same.
I copied it into /logodata, still just one frame, no animation. I copied it into /system/media, and /data/local and overwrote the file I had originally copied there...
- and bingo! animation!
Not sure why it wasn't doing it from the get-go, but I'll take it!
Thanks again!
Good deal. Glad it worked for ya.
(I'll leave the file up for a few hours in case anyone else needs it.)
Is it just me, or does this animation look kinda stale?
Got it to work. Looks great. Thanks

Firstly, the NexusOne bootscreen is the official one, I DIDNT make it, the hybrid one was stitched together by me, i didnt make the designs though. The Hybrid version allows a nicer transition between the bootscreen and the splash on Heros.

Also, after apply these changes, I need to change the boot_animation.xml details within. Removing the "bootscreen" in those file path.
After this, I am able to have the nice bootscreen.

it should, but you wont be able to install via update.zip, you will need to use ADB to push all the files to:
Code:
/system/media/
NOT
Code:
/system/media/bootscreen
(ive only tried this on the magic, but it should work for dream as they have the same format.....)
Would i be able to do it through terminal emulator?

Startup & Shutdown Animations from the Android Commercials -SHUTDOWN SOUND NOW WORKS!
--UPDATE MAR 29--
SOUND NOW RE-SYNCED.
Okay so I've finally spent the time to re-edit the sound on the Android Eats Apple startup animation numerous times to get it in sync with the video. I have also done some minor edits to the video. I'm using LeeDrOiD Version 2.0.0 (as 2.2.2 doesn't work with DSP Manager and I like lowering the treble on the so music/sounds/ringtones don't sound so harsh). I've updated the MegaUpload link with the new Andoroid Eats Apple Animation. I can't say whether the sound will be in sync with other verions/ROMS but it is in sync with LeeDrOiD 2.0.0. (I hope it's in sync with 2.2.2). Lastly make sure the option for fastboot is off or the whole animation and sounds will probably not load up fully.
--UPDATE FEB 18--
Great news!! I've solved the problem of how to make shutdown sounds work on the Desire HD!! I do believe this is a first as I've not found any info on Android phones so far except for the Samsung (Facinate, Captivate, ect). I've posted the Bad Android Shutdown Animation.zip at the end of the post. Make sure to follow the guide here to get the sounds to work on shutdown. The guide for the shutdown sound will be based on using LeeDrOiD HD ROMs which I'm using but I'm guessing it should be similar on other ROMs or even stock HTC ROMs with Root Access. So basically what you need to do is grab the .xml files located on your phone at "/system/customize/CID/". For me the two files are: "default.xml" and "LeeDrOiD.xml". For those not familiar with how to copy files to and from the system folders of your phone have a look below as I've explained how to use ADB for those basic commands. Okay so basically for me I've tested using LeeDrOiD HD 1.5.1 and also the version 2.0.0 (using his 2.0.3 Kernal). Using a text editor (notepad with wordwrap switched off is fine) just go to the bottom of the file and change the old lines which will be something like this:
<ShutdownConfiguration>
<ShutdownAnimation image_png="/system/customize/resource/downanimation.zip" image="" fps="15" />
</ShutdownConfiguration>
Click to collapse
...change em to this:
<ShutdownConfiguration>
<ShutdownAnimation image_png="/system/customize/resource/downanimation.zip" audio="/data/local/shutdown.mp3" useAudio="1" image="" fps="24" />
</ShutdownConfiguration>
Click to collapse
Ok now you can see that you're going to have to copy an animation zip file (in the same format as a startup animation) called "downanimation.zip" to "/system/customize/resource/" and also need to copy an MP3 file named "shutdown.mp3" to "/data/local/". Okay for those feelin lazy who are using LeeDrOiD HD 2.0.0 I've included the two .xml files so you don't even need to edit yours, you can just push em to you phone. I've posted the shutdown animation zip file below as I did have to re-edit the sound file to get it in sync for shutting down as it must use a different timing that when used as a startup sound... I did it on LeeDrOiD 1.5.1 so it may need a little adjustment for LeeDrOiD 2.0.0 or other ROMs. Sorry I don't have time now... I've gotta move interstate in a couple of days!! So anyway to adjust the sound sync you just edit the sound file in your favourite sound editing software and simply cut and paste sections of silence as needed. Audio editing software which shows a timline with increments down to less than 1 sec is ideal. Please look at the bottom of the post for the new zip files for the Shutdown Animation and the .xml files. --Have fun
---PREVIOUS POST---
Hi guys,
I hope this is allowed...
I've been workin on getting a couple of the Android Commercials into Startup & Shutdown animations. It's taken a long time, mostly with the audio, editing to get it in sync and creating new sound to completely replace the one for the "Bad Android" one... Unfortunately at this stage the I couldn't get any shutdown sound to work on the Desire HD. The "Andoird Eats Apple" was designed as a startup and the Bad Android was designed as a shutdown... So you can get the idea of the sound I've shown it as two startup animations.
Here's the youtube links to see how the animations look on my phone:

-Bordem Warning-
The info I've typed bellow is a rough guide how to use the files for your phone and how to create your own animations.
Okay so these are set to go for any 480x800 screen size. They are pretty easy to customise if your screen size is smaller or larger. The settings for the screen size are in the "desc.txt" file included. If you set your screen size in that file the bootanimation resizes it all on the fly. For the shutdown animation the changing the screen size in "desc.txt" doesn't seem to resize the images so instead use a simple program like Imagicon to do a batch resize of all the images. To be safe (for other phones) it's best to set no more than 24K colour.
Now on the ROM I'm using (LeeDrOiD HD) the startup "bootanimation.zip" and "android_audio.mp3" go in the "/data/local" folder on the phone. The shutdown "downanimation.zip" goes in the "/system/customize/resource" folder. Here are some simple tips using ADB and command prompt in windows. Make sure the USB cable is of course connected on charge only with USB Debugging on:
(always best to do this first)
"adb remount"
(an example of how to list the folder contents)
"adb ls /data/local"
(If you wanna backup the original then)
"adb pull /data/local/bootanimation.zip"
"adb pull /data/local/android_audio.mp3"
(backup shutdown animation)
"adb pull /system/customize/resource/downanimation.zip"
To copy the animations and sounds first move the above backed up originals to some other folder. Now copy and new "bootanimation.zip", "android_audio.mp3" or "downanimation.zip" to your folder on your PC where you have adb (usually "platform-tools). Now in command prompt do:
"adb remount"
"adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local"
"adb push downanimation.zip /system/customize/resource"
(for the startup sound)
"adb push android_audio.mp3 /data/local"
Lastly I've found the "desc.txt" doesn't seem to work to change or set the right frame rate when using the shutdown animation. Here's how to change it.
For me using LeeDrOiD HD custom ROM I have two files (pretty much the same) one called "default.xml" and the other "LeeDrOiD.xml" they are located in the "/system/customize/CID". You get the idea by now how to push & pull the files from your phone. Use a txt editor like notepad for both .xml files and you'll see down the bottom of the files a section for the shutdown animation that looks something like this:
<ShutdownAnimation image_png="/system/customize/resource/downanimation.zip" image="" fps="15" />
Click to collapse
Now you just change the number next to the fps to whatever frame rate per second you want. For example if you are using my "Bad Android" shutdown animation then set it to 24.
Lastly just remember that I've included both zip animations containing the "bootanimation.zip" file, this can easily just be renamed to "downanimation.zip" and placed in the appropriate folder and it works as the shutdown animation. If you decide to rename another startup animation other that "Bad Android" you'll want to set the frame rate. You already know how to set it as I explained above but you'll need to find what to set the frame rate at.... Open desc.txt contained in the "bootanimation.zip" file and you'll see something like: 480 800 30p
the 30p means 30 frames per second. So in this example you'd now change the fps of your .xml files also to 30.
The possibilities are really limitless for shutdown and startup animations. Once you grab your video, it could really be from almost any source. Put it in the free program Super and set output to sequence of images and then either .png or .jpg. You can also crop images, resize and stretch all with this very easily. If you have wide animations like the one I've used you can select them all in windows explorer in Vista or Windows 7 and right click and just choose rotate right. You can now create your own folders within a "startupanimation.zip" or "downanimation.zip". Make sure when you zip it you use a program where you can choose "store mode" which is using no compression, if not the animation won't work. You can google the desc.txt settings if you need for more help. Lastly if your animation won't show anything, I've found often it's the damn "desc.txt". For some reason everything in it looks perfect but it somehow is causing the animation to not work. Copy a new desc.txt from a working bootanimation.zip and then re-edit with your settings.
Alright enough of this jibber-jabber... time to try out the animations and if you're up for it try make some of your own? Hey I'm sure there'd be a million Bender from Futurama clips that'd be wikked as a boot animation with sound.
Take care
P.S. If you wanna change your splash screen use any 480x800 .bmp file in 24K colour with Android Flasher http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=794638

The startup & shutdown animations and sounds shouldn't be a problem to play with. At least in my experience when I've put ones on my phone that aren't right the thing just doesn't play but the phone still works okay. That having said it's always safest to have a ROM backup done first which is very easy once you have Eng S-Off and Clockwork Recovery Mod installed. I'd be a bit more wary about playing with the splash screen as they seem to involve the system partition area. Just use an app that will is recommended for your specific model of phone. And yes the link I gave for Android Flash is in a Desire phone thread but it works well for flashing the spash screen on a Desire HD phone.
Ok many phones and Android versions are going to have different locations for the startup and shutdown animations and sounds. Try google it and you may get some idea where to look. I'd then look around on your phone using "adb ls" as I talked about above or even easier is if you have a .zip file of say a custom ROM you are using have a look at in on your computer. It will have exactly the same folder layout in the .zip file as when the ROM is loaded on your phone. Look for the bootanimation.zip ect. Look in "system/media/ui" if the above folders mentions aren't what yours is using. If you look hard enough you should be able the files.

Hey I used Android Flasher 1.6.1 which is exactly the one listed in the link I gave from the DESIRE phone thread. YES it works 100% fine for flashing on a DESIRE HD. YES this was reccomended elsewhere in the splash screens thread as working for the DESIRE HD also. All you have to do it just check the bmp image is 480 pixels wide 800 pixels high and 24K colour then use the program. Follow the thread on Android Flasher for details on ALL the procedures you need done before using the program (basically make sure your phone is rooted with ENG S-OFF and of course Radio S-Off is always a good idea).
i found that, it was on system/media/ it works on the animation but not sound android_sound.mp3. still googling...
I'm trying to create my own custom boot animation but I have no idea why it's not working. I zip the file without compression but when I reboot my phone the screen just stays black
Do you know where to find a proper Guide?
Thanks
Donny1987 maybe this will help...
if your animation won't show anything, I've found often it's the damn "desc.txt". For some reason everything in it looks perfect but it somehow is causing the animation to not work. Copy a new desc.txt from a working bootanimation.zip and then re-edit with your settings.

Basically I faced what you're facing a lot. The black screen. Firstly if you aren't familiar with the settings please google desc.txt settings. You'll get all that info pretty easy. For some unknown reason I had so copy new desc.txt files a few times then with a working original I'd edit with the right info.
If you have a non working animation I'd try working from the ground up... get a known working desc.txt from your phone or from a .zip you downloaded from a bootanimation that you've got to work on your phone. Next just put say 10 of your images that are the correct size and in the exact same folder layout as is the previous working bootanimation and as it says in the desc.txt. Now in making just a simple 10 image tester if it's playing at 30frames per second or higher then you could miss it playing if you have both the setting for loop off and the last image of your animation all black.
Once you have a working 10 image tester of your animation then go from there in stages. Try all your images maybe next then reboot, if all good then next boot maybe change the frame rate speed in the desc.txt and reboot. Ect ect. If you get stuck you can PM me. There's always the option I could take a look at the zip too.
Don't worry after my first tries after spending ages fiddling with images and getting a modified animation, it just didn't work at all. I deleted everything and gave up only to come back weeks later and crack it and realise how close I was last time and get animations I was much happier with.

Thanks, that actually worked
Let's see what I can make
wow sounds..............
...interesting.
lol
got all working but wierdly enough the sounds seems to be out of sync for a second
edit: make that 2 seconds
this is excellent!!!
one problem how do i push sounds to downanimation?
ive got the apple one on the start up which is perfect but no sound on reboot.
thanks
edit my bad, just re read the first post...
hopefully that will soon work
rrrr ... i love your work ... big big thanks!
just a question, is it ok with you, if i change the Text to "Android Revolution HD" and put it in my Theme?
for sure, i´ll post you BIG BIG Credits on my Thread
hmm ... have to agree ... the sound is 2 seconds to late!
But just on "normal" reboot, on "Fast reboot" its working fine!
any ideas?
wow they both look great
will give it a try later and report if i also have some issues with the sound
hi guys,
the sound and the video are not synchronic, any ideas?
NOTE: This method is tested and it works on CM7 ROMs and AOSP ROMs. I don't guarantee that it will work for stock ROMs (The ROM that came with your device)!

Introducion
Hi guys!
Today, I'm going to teach you how to make your own boot animations. Please read this thread carefully to the end, in order to succeed in making your boot animation.
Requirements:
-A photo-editing program (GIMP and Photoshop are the best), which can save pictures in .png format
-A text editor (everyone has that)
-An archive-managing program (Power Archiver, WinZip), that is capable of making .zip archives
Tutorial:
1. Create part0 and part1 folders (in this folders, the frames of the boot animation are stored. Usually, there are only 2 parts in a boot animation, but you can add as many as you want. The frames in the part0 folder are usually repeated once, and the frames in part1 folder are usually looped several times, or infinite.)
2. Draw every frame of your boot animation manually (save every frame as you do it. Save the first one as 10001.png, the second one as 10002.png, and so on. Save them in the part0 and part1 folders - the frames in part0 folder will be showed only once, and the frames in part1 folder will be looped. But, you can change that if you want. Changing the looping property will be discussed in the following steps. WARNING: ALWAYS SAVE THE FRAMES IN .PNG OR .JPG FORMAT!)
3. Make a desc.txt file in the directory where the part0 and part1 folders are and edit it as following:
320 480 30
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1
Click to collapse
(The numbers 320 and 480 is the resolution of your boot animation. Change them as you want. The number 30 means the speed of the animation. Speed set to 30 is good for me. Then, the "p 1 0 part0" property means that the frames in part0 folder will be repeated once - you point that with the first number in the "p 1 0 part0" property, which in this case is 1. The second number is the delay between loops, and it's expressed in milliseconds (1000ms = 1s). I've set it to 0 because I don't want to be any delay between my loops (p 1 0 part0). And last, but not least, you set the folder with the folder name - in this case is part0. Then, you type the property for the part1 folder - that's "p 0 0 part1". The first "0" means that the folder will be looping infinite times, the second "0" means there's no delay between loops, and then we set the folder to part1. Note: if you have more folders, you'll have to write properties for them too! WARNING: DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE AN EMPTY LINE AT THE END OF THE DESC.TXT FILE!)
4. Compress the folders and the desc.txt file in a zip file (WARNING: MAKE SURE YOUR COMPRESSION METHOD IS STORE! OTHERWISE, THE BOOT ANIMATION WON'T WORK!)
5. Open your new boot animation and check the folders, if there are Thumbs.db files. If there are Thumbs.db files in your boot animation, delete them from the archive.
6. Install your boot animation on your device with one of the following methods:
Root Explorer method:
1. Rename your boot animation to bootanimation
2. Put it on your SD card
3. Open Root Explorer and copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media. This will replace the existing boot animation
4. Reboot your phone
ADB method:
1. Make sure you have downloaded android sdk
2. Put android sdk in C:\
3. Set the directory of command prompt to C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools. Click here for a video tutorial.
4. Rename your boot animation to bootanimation and put it in C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools
5. Open cmd
6. Type in order:
-adb remount
-adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
-adb reboot
Click to collapse
7. Enjoy your new boot animation!
Note: It's far easier to create and install boot animations with my program Boot Animation Factory. Oh, and you can preview them on your computer too!
How to add sound (all courtesy of colpophage)(UPDATED!!):
1. Download this shell script:
http://db.tt/HffJqg8P
2. Place bootsnd.sh in /sdcard
3. Run terminal emulator, and execute the following:
su
cd /sdcard
sh bootsnd.sh
4. Use a rooted file manager and navigate to /system/bin, and verify that there is now a file called bootsound there, and it has 777 (rwxrwxrwx) permissions. Modify the permissions to 777 if needed.
5. Place your desired sound file, renaming it android_audio.mp3, in /system/media.
5.1 For the original quietly brilliant sound, download: http://db.tt/Oy20ZqT (remember to rename it).
5.2 I now put custom boot animations into /system/media as well, and this is my favorite so far: http://db.tt/LMkqs3f (rename to just bootanimation.zip).
6. Reboot and enjoy.

Video tutorial:
Common mistakes that people make:
-Wrong compression method: you MUST set the compression method to Store!
-Missing empty line at the end of the desc.txt file: an empty line is needed! Otherwise, the boot animation won't work!
-Frames drawn in wrong color mode: you MUST draw your frames in RGB 8bit or RGB 16bit COLOR MODE!

In SGS I on Darky 10.1 you don't have bootanimation.zip file in system/media, but we have bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg. Your tutorial will work with it?

I don't know. It's intended for CyanogenMod ROMs. It's proven to work on CM7 ROMs and on AOSP ROMs. Is your ROM based on the stock SGS ROM, or is it built from source?

Very cool. There's a xda member created boot animation utility on the market that will make it easier to flash zips once created. I assume it would work.

I think this tutorial won't work, because Darky 10.1 ROM is based on the stock SGS Gingerbread ROM.

after pushing your bootanimation you can try that to see if it's ok :
adb shell bootanimation
Can someone tell me what's wrong with this bootanimation?
I'm talking about the pop tart cat one but it seems that none work.
It shows as a completely black animation yet the pictures show up fine and everything seems to be in order.

thanks for explaining everything; very nice.
for some time i have been unsuccessful. i feel it is how i am making my pngs. (as i actually flash my zip via cwm and it works for well-established boot animations, but not mine.)
all i get with my creation is a black screen. is there a trick? need to save it a certain way (beyond keeping it a png)? thanks! i use ps and paintnet...
additionally, just an fyi - the bootanimation that comes standard (with the white android guy) are jpgs...
Pretty cool, thank you!

When you zipped your boot animation, did you use compression method "Store"? That may be the problem.

I think yes. I will do a little research and see what can I do with that.
Anyone know how to change the animation to support bootanimation.zip ?
(Samsung galaxy tab 8.9 _motley kernel. KJ5 Honeycomb 3.2)
No luck on my end yet.
But here's what ive tried:
I connected my tab via ADB
Renamed bootsamsung.qmg to bootsamsung.qmg.bak
Renamed bootsamsungloop.qmg to bootsamsunglook.qmg.bak
Copy custom bootanimation.zip to /system/media/bootanimation.zip
copy custom bootanimation.zip to /data/media/bootanimation.zip
Type: bootanimation
It plays on my screen.
CTRL+C to quit.
I issue a reboot command and my 8.9 tab and I see Samsung logo, hear Samsung sound, but I do not see my custom start up. So samsung boot animation is down. But the custom animation is not up.
Can someone point me out to what I may be missing? I see some 8.9 roms support bootanimation.zip Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1321142&highlight=bootanimation+zip
....but I wanted to try it my self without flashing a new rom.
Any insight welcome.
I've answered this question here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20977703&postcount=14
The correct way would of course be to change init.rc in the initrd but that's a bit complicated so a quick hack would be just to overwrite /system/bin/samsungani with /system/bin/bootanimation

Thanks for the reply on the other thread, but I thought it would be better to bring this question outside of the rom discussion thread. Don't want to contaminate their discussion of the rom with something somewhat less important.
Anyhow, I tried the above in this specific order:
1. Using root explorer app, rename the 'samsungani' file to located in /system/bin
Done: samsungani.bak
2. Rename the file 'bootanimation' (also located in /system/bin) to 'samsungani'
Done.
3. Now put the bootanimation.zip of your choice in /system/media folder
Done.
However, after i reboot, now i'm stuck at the boot animation staying on screen even after the system has booted up. The animation goes on... If i tap my screen, I can launch apps and such, i just cant see behind the animation. If i rotate my tab, My main screen becomes visible at the bottom but portion of my screen is still occupied by the boot animation. Wierd! lol.
Looks like i have to adb and rename / fix stuff back.
Ever have this happen to you?
fun fun.

(For 7300/7310 reference, if you have a different device then please ignore)
Actually, to change or remove the bootanimation, you don't have to touch anything at /system/bin (you might break something and might have to ODIN later on). The only files that matter are:
1_Power_on.ogg (the bootanimation sound) located at /system/etc
bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg both located at /system/media
Those are the 3 files you would have to delete or replace. No zip files in there. You actually have to unzip that file in your computer, not put it in the device. Check the mentioned contents, replace in the device and reboot.

bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg have already been renamed to
bootsamsung.qmg.bak and bootsamsungloop.qmg.bak
After doing that, even with bootanimation.zip in place, it was just giving me a black screen until the launcher came up.
Seems the bootanim service needs to be stopped when boot is complete. This is not needed in Gingerbread asfaik.
In the Overcome ROM this has been added to the init.rc to take care of stopping the bootanimation:
Code:
on property:dev.sfbootcomplete=1
stop bootanim
Adding this means you have to unpack boot.img and the initrd, do the changes and then assemble it all again. This is a bit more complicated and nothing I recommend without doing the proper research on the subject first.

Hmm, actually you do have a very valid question. The dev didn't mention a How-to related to the Bootanimation.zip support. Have you checked at the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Themes and Apps forum for a clue?
progress...
I found these instructions and it got the boot animation loading and going away, but the sound that gets played with animation stopped working. (fixable since i backup everything)

HOW TO INSTALL (3 methodes) ?
File browser method (Rooted devices only):
Connect your phone to your computer via USB and mount the storage card for file transfer.
Copy the bootanimation.zip file that you want to install, to your SD card.
Unmount USB storage and launch the file browser of your choice on your phone.
Browse to /system/media, copy the existing bootanimation.zip file from there and paste it somewhere safe on your SD card.
Browse to the location on the SD card where you copied the new bootanimation.zip and copy it.
Browse to/system/media and paste the bootanimation.zip file there to override the default system boot animation without replacing it.
OR
Browse to /system/media and paste the bootanimation.zip file there.
If you are using Super Manager, you will have to enable its root function first from the settings. Furthermore, you may need to mount the /system partition as read-write first too upon entering it.
ADB method:
Enable USB debugging on your device in Settings > Applications > Development.
Connect your device to the computer via USB.
Launch a command prompt/terminal window on your computer.
Navigate to the location where you have the bootanimation.zip file saved.

You need to STOP with all the Jelly Time bootanimations!
I downloaded and installed the first because it was so cool.
Then you come out with a second one, had to choose, stayed with first.
Then Randomblame uses your second one in B9.1.
Now there are just to many good ones to choose from.
Really though, great work. Keep it up.

All are very good looking.
I do not know if it would be possible but, if you could create a way to have the system randomly pick one each time it booted, now that would be Awesome.
And then I would not have to choose...
I don't know if it's possible neither... you should ask a dev (I'm not)... I thing it's a little too much work...
