Charmer crashed with the new Aku 3.3!

Hello!
I tried to flash my Charmer with the new german Aku 3.3. At first everything seems to be ok, but at 95% it stops and i got the Message: update error- there is an comunication problem! So what can i do? I tried to flash the old rom back but there comes also at 95% a message: invalid command - nfb file cannot be used for your pda!
Please help me !

Go to bootloader mode, then try to flash RUU rom (1.x). You can find it on Charmer wiki.

It doesn`t work too, it always stops at 95% has anyone another idea?

did you try hard reset?

Yes i tried hard reset, but it is always in bootloader!

I have also the same problem. Tried to upgrade to version 3.3. Everytime it stops at 80%. I don't know why?! I can repair it with the software and re-run it. But it has the same effect.
Now i will try to downgrade to 2.6 again. I really don't understand what causes the problem. I hope i will get this thing running again....
EDIT: I reflashed the device with the older 2.6 ROM and it is working right now. However I didn't really get why it gets stuck at 80% with 3.3 ?!?!

The aku3.3 is up to date the bootloader version!!!
IPL and ISP version now is 3.00.

I´ve got the same: My charmer is in Bootloader IPL 2.06.0001 SPL 3.08.0001
I can´t downgrade to AKU 2: Please order a newer Version.
Every try to upgrade to AKU 3.3 failed at 95% with Error 326.
Is there any help for my charmer???

oh.**** !!!! I got the same problem with them and my first pda uk rom already empty screen and then i try with my scrond pda German rom it the same problem and now just only show in bootloader screen.Have i ask someone who knowage about this he told me that if SLP in you PDA have chang it be hard to repair.So,I think I lose 2 PDA did I try to flash in T-Mobile Official Rom de that i hope to develop it but i hve to kill 2 Charmer.Who take responsibilities,T-Mobile right ???

Ok no problem you can repair it! At first you have to brand your device with the rom you want to! After 95% the Problem will come again! When it stops you have to go with a reset to bootloader again.When your device is in bootloader you have to install the Radio Rom from this thread:

After that your device will be able to boot again and it should work!- But the Problem during the installation will stay,so you have always to use this way to flash your Mda compact II!
In the new rom there must be a problem with the radio rom and this causes the broken device.
I`m sorry for my bad english but i`m not used to talk very much! So i hope you understand what i mean!

You can find the radio rom also on the ftp server. Prophet> Radio Roms>Prophet_G4_RadioRom_v2.47.11.exe
You can try different Radio Rom versions, i have flashed the v.247.11 and it worked.
Normaly it should work!

hey, im new to all this, the tutorials dont make sense to me, atm i know my device is:
-tmobile mda vario
-unlocked
-G4
and is rom verion 3.8.2.1 wwe
i tried to upgrade it with SNN Diamond edition, but when ever i tried this, i got to the part where it starts to flash, the mda vario screen goes to the screen with the three colors but then on my laptop it just crashes and seys something about it is not responding and you have to close it, i have tried with other roms, but same thing occurs
can someone plz help meee

You have to use SoftSPL, you can get it HERE
In this folder, you copy the "nk.nbf" of your favourite WM6 (and only this file), then start with "START-sSPL.exe" (make sure you're connected via ActiveSync).
When you read this here before, you know everything you need!

Probably you are not following the instructions and doing it correctly,try to go according to the guide,if it still doesn't work,it sometimes happens that SoftSPL fails,than you better do it through 'HardSPL'

how to upgrade orange touch diamond ROM

Hi i have a orange unlocked touch diamond and it has 1.37.405.1 WEE Rom Date 12/06/08 Protocol Version 52.26a.25.09H. i bought it off some one from ebay. i want to upgrade the ROM on it cos it gets quite sluggish some times etc. I tried HTC.com to upgrade the Rom but it says its not suitable with my Touch diamond. can please one of the senior members help me as i have never flashed the ROM before, if I flash my ROM would my phone will get locked again on orange network as originaly phone was locked on orange.

Read the stickies in the ROM Development section.
Just download and install HardSPL then the ROM of your choice.

once unlocked flashing it won't lock the phone.....once its open its open
look at my signiture and try what i use
but please read the all the info given before you start
if you do...all is well...if you don't...you could brink the phone...

Hi, i did the same as u told me i downloaded the HardSpl developers edition 1.40 and tried to run it but in the 3 stage it says diamond not connected with active sync but it is connected. don't know what the problem is i even tried different versions of hard Spl etc

Please try to read posts regarding updating your unit. You can brick your phone if you don't know what you are doing.
Additional information:
What is your present ROM version?
What ROM are you trying to install?
is your unit unlocked?
Does your unit have hard SPL installed?

i do, but the problem is vender id,
im tryn to install wm6.1 then always error vender id..
i forgotten now what is the previous rom version.
hard spl? like 1.20.0lipro? yah i already use it,

I have the same problem
but can't instal bootloader or flash any ROM
I tryed to flash the original rom but it stucks to 13%
I tryed to instal many bootloaders but when it cames to 100% it says that image is corruped (error 270)
can any one help me ??

OK. I've had that problem before when I first got my Trinity. Been through a lot of trial and errors before I was able to do it correctly. I don't know if this can help but this is how I did it. Usual warning.... I am not responsible if you brick your device.
Just look for the following files in the Trinity thread and install them in the following order:
1. HTC Trinity SIM & CID Unlock - v1
2. Install Olipro 1.20
3. Now I don't know if this should be done but I read somewhere that you should upgrade your Radio version so I installed "Trinity_Radio1.56.70.11"
Even though I have done these steps already I always do them again WHENEVER I install a new ROM. It does not hurt to repeat them.

If you are getting "error vender id" message then it means that your unit is locked again so you have to unlock it again like I said in my previous post. You must have installed an official ROM previously which will lock your phone again.

I tryed to flash windows d. 3.3 Dmore (wm 6.1) but when i boot windows it stucks in the green screen so i can't run cid unlock.
i cant send the phone for servise because i get it from a friend and i havent the receipt

i think my radio bootloader is damage?..

try to use SSPL, after flash official ROM and then try again from beginning

[Q] Help Needed: how to update rom.

Hi, just bought HTC HD7 in HK, unlocked.
I am trying to update ROM (prefered Europe one, but tryed also Asia, founf in this forum "signed"). I am getting an Error 260 (CONNECTION) telling me to check if PDA is connected to cradle and cradle to Phone...
HTC Windows Vista Italian Version, Zune installed and run correctly (sync done). Phone is collected to zune and charging.
Any advice?

have u seen anyone updated there ROM here yet, NO...
there are no ROM updates or upgrades yet... there are group of ppl trying to load WP7 on HD2...
i dont think u can change to european languages yet... not until HTC comes out with a ROM upgrade...

Nut there are room released indeed (check windows phone 7 development forum) and problem is my pc simple cannot see phone when updating...
Both my pcs, and also connecting after booting phone with on + photo button on...

Ok, I did it, or at least I updated rom: powering on the phone pushing volume - takes to boot mode, and then I was able to flash with new ASIA rom, but not with new Euro rom: in this case i get an error 294 invalid vendor...
I suppose it needs the phone to be unlocked and this has not be done (yet ) but my question is... Why un unlocked asian phone is locked against euro roms? HTC should let customers free to change the language of the phone....

It doesnt have anything to do with being unlocked or not.
Its because of the SPL. you will need Hard SPL to be able to flash ROMs from another region, otherwise, you can't.
There is no HSPL for HD7 yet, and the bad news is, no one seems to be working on it
