Hi
I tried to use this wallpaper pixel (480x800) but somehow it always resize to 240x400 but when I do a screen capture this is the size I have (480x800) of a blow up picture. Please advice how I could get the full size image display on my i9000. Has anyone notice this ?
Thanks
This is what I would like to have and the size is 480x800

And this is what I got and when I do a screen capture the size is actually 480x800
Anyone has similar experience ?
Thanks

Yes, it does happen to me on EVERY launcher except for the default TouchWiz UI. I've tried ADW, Launcher Pro and GO; all with the same result. Is there a solution to this within the launchers themselves?
EDIT - I tried Wallpaper Set and Save, but it's not a good solution. it loads the image a bit better, but the zoom is still too great. Also it doesn't provide options for vertical or horizontal area selection on an image
Hi
What I found is by using ADW EX launcher as long as I set my image dpi at 72 less then the it works.

The problem is that i've changed it with the app made by maranell0 ( to change the wallpaper in all the tabs ), and now if i go in the settings tab and tap " Wallpaper " it sets the one that i've installed. I wouldn't make an hard reset cause i've just reinstalled all the apps.

No, cause it has been subscribed by the wallpaper .cab generated by maranell0's app. I need a new one.

It's not an image that could be found in the album, it's in the Windows folder, but i don't know the name.
In your windows folder
wallpaper_default.png
When you have wallpapers on all tabs and you want the same background on your home screen you need to change some key in the registery.
I don't know witch one
So if you don't want the same wallpaper you need to change the key back.
looks like a completely black wallpaper to me..the white is reflection to make it look more shiny

I'm trying the settings under “UI settings/Icons/New Icon Settings” and set them bigger to 130 instead of normally 100.
The Icons are looking very blurry now.
I tried different sizes 74x74 or 125x125, but no changes in quality.
When I'm using Desktop Visualizer 1x1 with 74x74 the icons are looking very sharp on my homescreen.
The blurry look is terrible, does anyone have any solution?
Thanks for answers.

You'd have to use custom icons with a higher resolution. Just resizing icons from small to large will look blurry. You can't add pixels that aren't there in the first place after all.
What you might be able to do is find the exact same icons on Google Images, or even in Android Market, but at higher res.
I already tried to use bigger icons, 125x125.
When I'm using DVR 1x1, even 74x74 are very sharp.

The left calendar is created with DVR 1x1 (looks good) and the right is ADW with new icon settings.
Both are the same rseolution 74x74.
...same problem here...
...on ICS 4.0.3 / ADWlauncher EX 1.3.3.56... DV-Icons look sharp, ADW-Icons (same png) resized to 162 are rendered damn blurry...
I also tried to use double sized icons, Icons with 162x162Px, and so on... no change
would like to have some help too!
Is your phone MDPI? If so, that's the reason. This happens to me when I change the DPI aswell.

Hey I'm looking for the HTC sense weather widget blue grid background(s) but I just can't seem to find them, I've downloaded two different sense ROMs that have them but can only find the icons.

I have a feeling they could be located in a .m10 file called: Lockscreen_weather_bg.m10
Does anyone know where I can locate it, or if I can open up .m10 files and get the image I can only get the text of them so far, looking around for different tutorials.

found a tutorial, but still having trouble.
For you
Day
Morning
Night
BTW you can use the Wallpaper Changer from the Google Play to change morning, day and night wallpapers according to the set times.
Does someone know the changing times of the lock screen wallpapers?
And just for the record: in the above post the day wallpaper is morning and vice versa.
Thanks for your help. For future reference in case someone is searching for the same question, the reason why it didn't work is because the M10 Editor that I was using can't decompile Sense 4.0 at this time - so I used Sense 3.0 files.

I've been using Tasker to change the wallpaper at different time (can't do lockscreen wallpaper AFAIK), I only set up two wallpapers though but I made the wallpapers the right dimensions for my phone - HD2 obviously and I'm NexusHD2 with the DPI set to 192 (not sure if it makes a difference to wallpapers (don't think so).
So you just need to disable wallpaper scrolling.
This pack has the three wallpapers 960x800 4.39 MB
Thanks gonne try this with tasker for the nice effect what you got on your hd2
Hi, it's not really a S10 related problem, but the Nova support isn't answering my E-Mail for a week so I wanted to ask here if there's any solution for this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
https://imgur.com/TgDymT6
The wallpaper on Nova's home screen is getting zoomed in, no matter with which app I set it.
On the lockscreen of One UI it looks good.
It's both the same file in 3040x1440.
Wallpaper scrolling in Nova settings is disabled.
Is there any solution for this?
Nova stiil has support on Google+ until that goes away on April 2. Nova also has a Discord community where you can ask, https://discord.gg/sVg9j4J
That would be the best place to ask as this obviously isn't an S10 question.
I talked with the Nova support and they said that this is a Samsung issue and they're not able to fix this at the moment.
Samsung did some changes with the S10 and One UI and it seems that nobody know what they did exactly.
I'm wondering that I'm the only one who noticed this.
Try to add 2 or 3 homescreen and delete them...
One thing I noticed was that you can pinch to zoom while setting the wallpaper in Nova. Had one paper get applied zoomed and that was the reason, accidentally zoomed it myself. Otherwise, it doesn't appear to be doing any automatic zooming of my wallpapers.

Did you compare it when you set the exact same wallpaper for lockscreen and homescreen?
With some images this may not be easy to see but I tried different images and everytime it's zoomed in.
I also tried to zoom out on wallpaper selecting, but it is completely zoomed out. I can see the difference immediately when I set the wallpaper.
The Nova developers are sitting there with S10 and S10+ and can reproduce this issue and don't even have a clue why this is a thing on those devices.
Hi -
To solve this issue, swithc back to your Samsung ONe ui launcher, then set the wallpaper you would like UNTICK the motion effect box, and then switch back to novalauncher, it should be fixed!

Hi guys,
I am using tasker, auto Dark theme ( awesome by the way ), but there is a problem with Emui, all of those apps got a feature that consist in changing wallpaper automatically, but it only changes the home screen, not the lock screen, and of course I've selected the both to change.
Any ideas how to solve this problem ?
Thanks ?
Same, have to use the stock wallpaper changer
Yep
It's a 'mess'.
Same behaviour/pb with alternative launcher like nova.
I could change the walls in it, but they're soon replaced by the ones configured in stock launcher/theme app.
I'll try to play with some settings and system file access allow/deny.. With no win.
Good luck
Edit :
Don't know why.. But
Just allowed nova to local storage in system application autorisation.
Reboot
And now my screens settings (both home and locked) stays.
'Cherry on the launch', the sliding home background back too.
Hope it's help on your side.
Ps : of course the magazine lockscreen auto update is off

After reading your post I checked permissions on Nova Launcher, and the setting that allows it to change the lock screen background is "Write System Settings" from the info page for NL, no need for reboot
