largest genuine oem battery that fits in stock cover? - Droid Incredible Accessories

by geniune i mean like the evo battery or tp2
1500?
1800?

I have yet to see an OEM 1800.
So 1500.

how long does it go for you compared to stock?
didnt tp2 have an 1800mah?

All depends on how you use it. I can get 24 hours or I can get 10-15.

Nice! I guess 1500 it is where can I find a real one as cheap as possible

It really does, I'm using the stock battery with Cyanogenmod 6 with moderate use (checking e-mail, Facebook, browsing, news feeds, etc.) and it gets me through to the end of the day (12-15 hours). I definitely don't get 24 hours but you're sleeping for a good chunk of that time and it'll be plugged in during that time so -shrugs- doesn't matter personally for me.
Or I used to have a ROM that came with a battery saving kernel and I would end up with a ridiculous (relatively speaking) amounts of battery life at the end of the day, but the performance was slightly noticeably sacrificed so I stopped using that (I think it was an earlier version of Myn's Warm TwoPointTwo but I don't remember what the kernel was).

I have an 1800.

The HTC extended is pretty nice too, but I guess some people just don't want any extra bulk.
Personally I like the phone better with a little more bulk so it can be held easier. Always had to hold it really oddly before because of how thin it was.

Bidallies. OEM and great price. Search bidallies on eBay. Legit. Bought several from him
HTC Incredible

type this into ebay: htc oem evo 4g battery That came up with many oem 1500 batteries for under 10 bucks. The fact that they are real oem is albeit debatable, but worth a shot I guess. Are there any sure signs of a battery not being oem, other than the seller being in china or something? When you look at the pictures, every battery has the same warnings, mah's, tags and everything.
Seideo makes the 1750 which will fit in the stock case...I think this has already been mentioned though.
TP2's are 1500's

There is no debate, if you buy the right EVO battery it's real and it is under $10.00
1800's aren't real.

Yeah, shoman24v is correct. If you look at the link I posted, that's the battery I ordered and it is 100% real and OEM. The seller is "accessorymallonline" I believe. I got it for under ten dollars, including shipping. I'm sure there are other sellers with the same battery for a similar price, but that's the only one who's authenticity I can vouch for. It is the exact one that Android Central sells for $44.99 plus shipping.
However, I also ordered an 1800 mAh battery off eBay from seller "amor_istores" and it is NOT real, not OEM and is certainly not even close to 1800 mAh. If there's a real OEM 1800, I'm unaware of it. I saw others had ones from a seller on Amazon (unsure of the name right this moment, but a little searching will do you well) that don't look at all like the one I received, that don't look like any other HTC battery but are still red and branded HTC and I've heard good things about them, despite more than likely not being OEM.
I'd go with the OEM 1500 mAh because of the price to performance ratio. You can buy a ton of these for the price of the Seidio 1750 mAh. Not saying that's not a good battery, but is the extra 250 mAh worth 40 bucks? You could also be daring and try the other 1800 mAh batteries that some people really seem to like. I believe they come in a 2 pack with an external battery charger for 30 dollars or so.
Good luck!

even with the 1500, it somewhat pushes the case out. i ended up sanding down the corners and the sides of the battery, takes out about 1mm of its thickness (you'll see what i mean when you receive your batt). it makes it sit a little bit better. GL

I want a new battery with more power to my phone, i am also not apposed to getting a Extended Battery.. Any suggestions, or info i should no about?
Check out the Hero CDMA sub forum, there are several options for batteries there.
You can pick up two extra batteries and an external charger for about $12 on Ebay. I went this route and don't regret it. I keep a fully charged battery in my glove box and another in my back pocket.
I never worry about killing my phone during the day from overuse. That said, since I've been using Zen's newest MT3G slide ROM, I haven't been able to completely drain a battery while at work.
Check out my sig (the TP2 batteries) for ideas on batteries...
in a nutshell unless you want s really big battery. The best choice is to get a 1500mAh OEM battery or the cheap 1500mAh no-name ones (which are pretty much as good) Don't fall for the mugen and Seidio ripoffs

The new OEM TP2 2100 batteries...Are you considering them the best for the Hero..? If so where's the best place to get them ?
Mac
for what it's worth, i was hesitant to spend the money on the 3500 mostly due to everyone saying that back cover looked like poo. after getting it though, i can honestly say that it is of good quality. obviously, it's black, and that will bother some people. to me though, it's kind of cool when other Hero owners (there are a ton of them, too) comment on it. they can't believe how much better i tel them the batery life is since that seems to be most people's biggest complaint (for smart phones in general). The cover is rubberized and doesn't fall off like some people say.
As for battery life, i unplug and turn my phone on at 4:45am every morning and usually turn it off around 10pm and plug it in. in that time, my email is pushed every 30 minutes, my bluetooth stays on, i stream shoutcast or pandora for about 1.5 hours (to and from work), send and receive on average 15-20 text messages, talk maybe 45 minutes, and surf the web (gotta check engadget and xda, right?) for at least 30 minutes. the gps stays on the whole time and i only use my task killer once about 15 minutes after my morning startup when all the crap is running in the background. when i turn the phone off at night, it has usually just dropped to the 50% mark. well worth the $53 if you ask me...
2000mah battery
If I'm not mistaken, isn't this the battery that fits the stock back. Previous posts lead to dead link or relisted after relisted, on and on? If this is it, it's back on ebay. I had read somewhere on this site that it was worth the long wait.

don't know that I'd buy it. especially coming from hong kong it's probably pretty terrible qualitywise, but I like that battery cover better than the actualy HTC extended battery cover.
Well, as nice as it would be to have nearly twice the power, it looks like it would make the phone monstrously thick. I may like my women curvy, but I like my phone thin.
I'd also be a bit concerned that the recess for the camera lens and flash will interfere with picture quality, causing "barrel" shadow as well as limiting flash light splash.
Agreed...looks pretty chunky to me...jc
I think I may be picking this one up... I like hong kong stuff
has anyone picked this up yet? any reviews?
It has gotten some positive reviews over at androidforums. It probably won't last more than a few months until it stops holding its charge, but for $14 its worth a shot. Another seller is selling two batteries, the cover, and an external charger for $22, so even if both batteries fail, I figure I at least won't have to do anymore bump charging.
I bought a battery from China one time for my blackberry and it worked well for like a week but it didn't carry a charge to well then I leave it one nite fully charged and I wake up its dead.... and it happens every single time...
I BOUGHT IT AGAIN AND SAME PROBLEM...

So far I've left it running for 10 hours with light usage, and it is still at 80%. Very impressive. Seems to be lasting longer than my 2150 official HTC battery as well. Absolutely worth $15 with the back case.
I'm undervolted and overclocked on a rooted dinc, with a sleep profile in setcpu.

Just a thought...
So instead of getting a 2600 that makes your phone overly huge, why not get the 2-1800MAH batteries with the separate charger they have on ebay? The batteries are for the EVO 4G, but at least you know they will last over a month and for two 1800 MAH batteries and the charger, it is only $24.95
Also, the 2600MAH one on some auctions on ebay are 11.95 with free shipping...so better than $16.00, I guess it's worth a shot if you want a huge a$$ phone!

It really isn't all that big, especially with the HTC back on it. It only slightly protrudes out of the silicone case that I cut to put it in, and after several weeks has held its charge better than the 2150 battery I have (same physical size). It lasts about 30 min to an hour longer. Very impressive for a $15 battery.
Is the battery the same size as the 2150 htc one bhaz? Just curious cause the phone does look huge with my 2600 hk battery and back. Considering the htc 2150 if its more stylish.

I got the battery on Saturday, I bought the 2600 MaH battery for 11.00 w/ free shipping. When the battery arrived, it actually said 300MaH. The first 4 days, the battery was amazing. I would unplug my phone at 8A and when I went to charge it overnightI would still have 30% left. My stock battery would need to be plugged in by 5P or it would die on me. The new battery I thought was great but after the 4th day, I noticed that the battery started draining quicker and quicker. It's 2:30P and my battery is at 40% already and it's just been sitting on my desk at work. I guess I got what I paid for. I contacted the seller and I'm waiting for a response from him. I might buy the HTC 2150 battery as that worked really well. I figured I could still use the Back cover that came with the ebay battery but use the better battery.
Just got my supposed 2700, yes, 2700, from a seller in usa for 25 bucks. We'll see how it lasts.

A few weeks ago, I bought a 2600 that had the fat door on it with speaker holes. On average for the first four days, the battery lasted a few hours longer than the 1750 Seidio and about 2X the 1300 stock.
About the fifth day in, the battery started declining in life and now lasts in between the stock and Seidio (more than stock, less than Seidio). Weird thing is the trend down has stopped and it remains a little weaker than the Seidio.
I expected the life to trend down "soon", but not days- I expected a few months of good use. Not even $13 worth use, now that I went back to the longer lasting 1750 Seidio. Fat door Inc would be fine, IF the battery lasts longer. Not in this case.

Thoughts on the Seido 1750mAh battery?

I'm sorry if there's a topic about it. I browsed for it, but the XDA app crashes whenever I try to search.
I'm considering ordering this battery. Had anyone had any good or bad experiences with it? I'm finding that the stock battery just isn't quite enough. Do you get the expected extra ~30% run time based on the capacity difference? Does it run too hot or anything? Thanks in advance for any input.

I love and swear by my 1750. You will get a lot of people in here saying it is crap, but I assure you it is not. If you want a battery to last the full day and not increase the size of your phone the 1750 is for you. I have had no issues with it getting to hot. Just a word for the wise....
When you get it follow the instructions. Let it charge for several hours after full charge. Im talking twelve hours or so if you can spare. You wont regret it.
I have the 1750 and it works great, does as advertised. Gets me through a day at 1.152 GHz of mid-heavy use, I'm not complaining

Thanks for the input. What do people say about it? Just that it's not worth the "premium" price a la the first post here?
EDIT: Also, I'd consider the larger extended batteries, but I use my phone as a GPS frequently and thus can't deal with an extended back.
It's nice to have but I've become so used to plugging up that I have a way/somewhere to charge almost everywhere I go anymore. It does allow me the luxury of being able to not plug up for longer.
I've started swapping out my 1750 for my stocker and letting them charge on my docking stations for a day or so...seems to help a little.

When I was looking for a replacement battery and searching the forums many different people claimed it didn't work as advertised. That it did not last any longer than the stock battery. In my experience this is not the case at all. Also the price is a little heavy but worth it to me at the time. I would check ebay for it now though.

I have seen those reports too, don't believe everything you read.
I had a Touch Pro 2 before this and the standard battery was a 1500mAh. I had the Seido 1750 for it and it was a lot better than the original battery.
When I got my Dinc I was using the stock TP2 battery for a while and then I bought the Seido 1750 for it as well. I have no regrets, in my opinion it is a lot better than the 1500mAh battery.
The way my phone is set up and the way I use it, with the original battery I could rarely make it through a full day without having to charge it.
With the 1500 by the end of the day I was about done (anywhere from 15% to 25% remaining.
With the Seido at the end of the day I have between 30% and 40% remaining.

Buying that battery now. Hopefully it adds a little boost in battery life
I bought the battery mentioned in this thread and have been getting great battery life. Right now I am at 21 hours with about 17% left. Prior to this I was unrooted and having to recharge every 8 hours on the stock battery. Definitely recommend it but the best improvement to my battery life occurred after I rooted.

It's a bit of a tight fit, right? I just received mine and it seems a bit tight.
It's a little tighter, but not too bad. I am loving this battery so far. I'm definitely getting good life out of it.
I listen to music on my 1 hour commute and when I'm at work, my battery is more than 65%. Before it was in the 30s.

Flip it over and squeeze along the edges, working from the camera end to the bottom, making a firm connection as you work down the edges. After a few times things settle in and closing the back is no challenge at all.
Yeah that's how I have been doing. Been off the charger since 6 AM and there is still a good amount of battery left

Yeah I bought the battery linked in this thread and its been worlds better than the stock. I'm at 27 hours since my last charge, with wifi and Bluetooth always on a few calls and about an hours worth of robodefense, I still have 18% left. Skyraider could have something to do with it but the battery is well worth the investment and the snug battery cover fit was fine.

Battery has been treating me well I must say. I tethered a bit and it didnt drain that much at all. Not sure on % 's but it wasnt like the original.
So looks like I may pick up one of these, thanks guys.

I bought this battery a couple weeks ago and it pretty much crushes the stock battery. It costs more than the one on amazon but its great. Quick shipping too.

Like everything else they make it's probably not...
Is it true the samsung 1440mAh is better than the 1600mAH or even out stock batteries? I read that it was even though i dont see how it could be.
I doubt that the 1440 mAh is better than the 1750 mAh. I think I'll get this slim extended battery! It's as much as the regular OEM, which is I think the 1600 mAh. But I'm contemplating if the 3300 mAh (bulky but with backdoor) would be better considering the price is too much? http://www.mythoslife.com/2011/04/nexus-s-now-has-extended-battery.html. Then, again, if you're a power user then it might be worth it.
interesting...
Like stated before, it probably isn't 1750. They ramp up the number to get more sales and usually worse than the stock 1440mah.
I'd rather get the Seidio 1750 mAh slim extended battery. It'll probably last better compared to the one from eBay. http://mythoslife-store.blogspot.com/2011/05/looking-for-extended-slim-battery-for.html.
Seidio had the same battery up a few months ago and had it labeled as 1600mah.

pay shipping and I will send you two extra batteries and a charger I bought from ebay.... they claimed 1800mah but under the sticker they were 1100mah. I never used them, I just wanted to test them. You can swap batteries...

no thanks, im going with the 1600mAh from mugen.
Great, you'll never know what you buy these days on eBay. Did you say that Seidio is the same way? My perception of this company is that their products are hight quality.
I'm not saying seidio is the same way... when the nexus s was released they had the same exact battery and description but 1600mah. Now it looks like they bumped it. I don't want to knock it until I try it. I'm not sure who to trust...

My NS4G came with the Samsung 1440mAH battery. It lasts me all day even if I use it moderately. I am looking at buying an extra Samsung battery and a battery charger so I can have a charged spare battery for those heavy usage days.
2 the guy selling the 2 extra batteries and the charger, I may be interested. The only reason I haven't bought them from ebay yet is I don't want to wait all that time for shipping from China.

no where on the product page,it says nexus S 4G.
stop that BS about NS4G.
all Nexus S products for the Samoled.work's on all Samoled versions.doesnt care if its 4G or not.
and same go's for SLCD.all SLCD nexus s products work on all SLCD nexus versions.
hope thats clear?
anyway's.
did nto test.
but there is a general rule that says.
if its more MAH than stock battery, but do has the same size as Stock battery.its fake.
more MAH meens Bigger battery to actually make it work.
well, here's a battery rated 1850.. anyone brave?

Increased mah doesn't always = larger battery. OEMs are notorious for skimping on batteries. Sure.there are limits in package size but OEMs rarely ever reach the full cell size. There's a reason Samsung has multiple mah batteries of the same outer packaging size. Hell, I have about 3 different nexus one batteries of different capacity that all fit with the standard backplate. The N1's battery drivers were written into some kernels and you can read (even alter) the battery controller's register values in real time.
