[Q] Overclocked Kernel for Dual-boot Honeycomb - Nook Color General

Well, this question is for the people doing dual-boot Honeycomb: What is the current version of Dalingrin's overclocked kernel to use for a Honeycomb installation on the dual boot partition? I've got the original one from the dual-boot HC thread, but it's now pretty old. There are updates to the kernel for the main ROM installation, it seems, but I can't find a version that works for HC on the dual-boot partition. Is it true that an updated one hasn't been done?
Sorry that this questions seems out of place. It seems absolutely ridiculous for this question to go out here in the general forums, but apparently this forum system is forcing me as a new user, even though all the other people asking these kinds of questions do it to the appropriate people in appropriate threads in the development forums. Oh well, screwed by the intertubes again. Can someone please repost this message in the development thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=959461 ? Pretty Please? Thanks.

Can't blame you for trying to help out but there are already pelnty of guides. They belong in the q&a section or even the general section.
Not to mention this is the g1/dream forum and that is for the mytouch/sapphire which is a different forum.

The Cyanogen ROM isn't specifically for the MyTouch/Sapphire.
I agree, though; use the search.
use search link or google it

I agree search but I like being helpful...If your asking which partitions Cyan needs the answer is none. I always like running a 3 partition SD card. I lately have been using a 64MB linux-swap, 500mb ext3 and then a 3.4mb fat32. I use a 4 gig card. I hope this answered your question if not oh well sorry.

Froyo for rooted N1

Froyo release has begun to N1s. I have a rooted N1 running cyanogen. What do I need to know about updating to Froyo?
How do I do it?
Will it affect my cyanogen mod?
Thanks.
I take it you didn't even look at a thread title, let alone reading anything before posting.
Several thread on this already, please post in an existing thread so as to keep duplicate thread down.

a little newbie help

which radio is better to use with cyanogenmod 5.0.6?
best to start of with whatever you have unless you are coming from froyo. and why not go with 5.0.7.1 when it comes out later tonight?
you can choose other radios to try afterwards based on your area. but if you have something that works, no need to change.
what is the difference with 5.0.7 and 5.0.7.1?
wrong forum dude, this is development, not some random newbie question, use the search function!

I agree. I dont understand how so many newbies miss the "Nexus One Q&A" section. I wonder if they know what Q&A stands for.
But for the radio. Use the one that is on cyanogens post. If he posts it to be working for his build, then it must be a good one.
Thread moved to Q&A.
great point, i should have mentioned that in the first place. as for whats the difference, check the 5.0.7thread cyanogen stated what is to be changed.

(Q) need a working froyo kernel tree

Anyone have a suggestion for a working 2.2.2 froyo kernel source?
I tried a while back but have been unable to recover my working tree.
This is why I hate posting these kind of questions in the q&a forum...
Because the people that know the answers (devs) rarely bother visiting here...
This q&a is more for "how do I change my ringtone" type questions
And not actual technical "development" questions.
However, we are not allowed to post questions in the dev forum so I guess I am stuck....
(dont mind me....I am high on pain killers again...lol)

custom rom gallery problem

I've installed the croid ROM and it seems that gallery will not share my pictures with Verizon's message app. I've checked all permissions and they seem to be proper. Anyone think of a reason they won't share?
This is a question about a specific ROM, posted in the other Quark forum. You would probably get a much faster answer asking in the actual ROM thread. There are many Verizon users who have installed that ROM on their Droid Turbo phones, and they watch that thread carefully for updates.
This question will probably be moved down to "Q&A", as there's a rule posted against questions in "General".
