This is my first Theme Chooser mod. All it changes is the battery Icon in the status bar to a speedometer type icon with battery levels displayed in 1% increments. All you need to do is download the apk, install like an app, select the SpeedoBatteryMod from Theme Chooser and reboot. It has been tested on the Eris and also used on the Hero and Wildfire. Should work with mdpi and hdpi devices. If you get the error shown in the second screenshot just hit apply anyway. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as it's been enjoyed on the Eris!
Updated 4/12/2011 - Should not have any problems now with any Theme Chooser version or device
NOTE: When using this theme you need to disable display battery percentages in CM settings for the battery icon to work properly.
Download here.

Is there any way I could modify this apk to be a metamorph zip? I like the battery gauge a lot but love the honey bread theme, I was interested in combining them (kinda) using metamorph to theme the batt, I could do it myself if someone directed me to a how to thread

There is a sticky in this section for how to create metamorph themes. I haven't done one myself. I usually make my themes flashable zip files. If you want to give it a shot or Pm me if you want and I'll see what I can come up with for you.

I actually found the speedo metamorph theme a month ago on an EVO thread here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=883026
keep scrolling down until you see the Notif Bar Metamorphs. I opted for the Riptide Bundle on my MotoDroid and it works, just the 3G icon is a little diff. So if u like the Riptide but want the speedo, just flash Ripptide, then flash the the speedo to only adjust the battery icon.
Thanks for the speedo. Works great on a CDMA Hero with aospCMod | AOSP 2.3.3 / CM7 (Gingerbread)

Hello all!
This is for 2.1 only, but I have started working on froyo. I should have that done on monday. This theme is essentially a port from the Black Gloss mod on the Fascinate forum, with a little touch of my own. Completely flashable via Clockwork. I added mine and [email protected]'s custom transition animation file, as well as a full revamp on the notification pulldown. I changed the twiz lock screen to a syndicate branded tux lol.
Found there to be better performance for some reason after cache wipe. No Screencaps available as im running froyo, and again I am working to port/mod this to 2.2 so be on the lookout. Anyone who wants to send me screenies from the initial flash, I will post them.
Two versions below, an AOSP and a TW version for the lockscreens. No power mods, saving that for froyo port . let me know what does/doesnt work and i'll work to fix. Enjoy!

Yes, it can be flashed on top. As for reverting, the easiest way would just be to re-flash the ROM (no wipe needed).
This is a wip beta port of the amazing theme by Manup456. original thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6891311&postcount=2
*Usual Disclaimer* I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. Best practice is to make a nandroid before flashing anything.
1-12-11: big update changed the pulldown power menu, changed the dialer, themed more apps, changed the progress color, made the menus black, added 2nd battery option (circle), added deskclock
All Credit to: Manup456...its his theme, and this is more or less a straight port

Hi guys, i just decided to port the buuf theme for my wildfire, this should work on HDPI and MDPI devices.
credits go to t-mobile, cyanogenmod, the person that made the buuf theme, i can't remember
what's done:
pretty much everything except a few minor or small things you probably won't notice as much, i'll get to that.
if you have any problems or bugs or whatever you want, just say in the thread.
Instructions:
1. download the apk
2. install it using a file manager
3. go to theme chooser and select it
4. reboot.

Nice can't wait. Also about the widget buttons in the notification bar. Some were themed like the wifi and one other one, rest weren't. Didn't know if it was because I was using a mdpi theme, or you just hadn't got to it yet. Besides that everything else was themed and looked awesome;p
Oh and I saw in the OP about the battery, was wondering are you going to use one with 1% increments?

Hey guys, this is a port of the Galaxy S2 (WizMod2)/Galaxy S (HDPI)/Galaxy Ace (MDPI) 2.3 framework for CM7. Made it for my personal use, thought I'd share it with you guys. Kevin2516 also has a great touchwiz theme here but it's a froyo version AFAIK.
Either way, thought I'd share this like I said. Enjoy.
Update (6/11) - LDPI support for Wizmod (not Wizmod2, sorry but I refuse to rescale images manually). Should look better on LDPI devices.
Update (18/8) - Black status bar (this is how it is on the SGS2 as I've seen in some screenshots, looks better imo) and black menus (again i think it looks better), got rid of transparent notification drop down because I don't like it . If you guys want I'll add it back.
Update: Finally attaching the TW4 version (HDPI only) to the first post, enjoy. MDPI USERS SHOULD USE THE OLD VERSION. HDPI users can download WizMod2.apk.

First of all, nice theme. I was a little excited reading the title, thinking it would be the 10locks port of the ACS v5.5 ROM, but no luck here.
I simply love the theme in that ROM: clean blue and easily readable without being too plain, not too bright and not too dark. I know there's gitusum's theme too..

Was that this one from this post? Haven't tried it yet. Is it standalone theme flashable over most ROMs, or an update for 5.5 only? If a standalone, that would be a great link to have on your Revival ROM thread.
Does the dial screen have that watermark that dominant? My old eyes may have a hard time making out the letters when I need to spell out a name.

Standalone. I will put it on the thread after I add a battery % mod to it...

Just tried it. Your ICS theme works great as it is on Revival (with the exception of the red boot anim & red dialer - no biggie, easy to override). I love the HoneyComb battery semi-circles that's already there, so not sure what battery % mod for.
Btw, sorry to hijack this thread to talk about the ICS theme. It's good theme worthy of its own thread
That theme is mostly stolen from gitusum

Marcus-
Loving Revival ROM and all the goodness. I also think the new hijacked ACS theme compliments the ROM well and wanted to say Thanks for the Great Work! I am going to wait for the status bar mod and 1% battery before I rock it the theme as my daily driver.
Again, Thank you for sharing your talents and time!

The ACS theme has 1% battery. Not my ICS one...
