So I assume everyone has seen the HTC commercials. This is what I want to know,is there a wallpaper that could change to look like a completely different one? For example when the guy on HTCs commercial scrolls to another screen the wallpaper changes, could we create a wallpaper that does this?

There is some overlap in the part of wallpaper used in adjacent home screens. Because of this, I don't think it's possible. Just my intuition, I could be wrong.
Yeah that's what I was thinking, doesn't hurt to always ask you know..

So I flashed the 4.2 factory image, haven't rooted yet.
I like,
The smaller icons in the dock bar
Slicker graphics / icons
The clock is cool
The notification system, left-side = notifications: right-side = quick settings.
Gmail is much improved.
Multiple user accounts is a good idea.
I dislike,
Chrome is slightly newer than the current version in the Play Store, 18.0.1025465 vs 18.0.1025464, but they made it perform worse Sunspider before 1500ms ~ now 1641 ms. It is also no smoother than before, and still is laggy on sites like The Verge.
I only got to play with mine for a few minutes during lunch but I love it minus the bounce back on the notification/quick settings pull downs. It's just odd and kind of irritating. I kept thinking it was going to close itself.
I really like the new lockscreen. The hour being bold with the minutes regular text is really nice IMO. The placement of the owner info and charging % is also nice. I think widgets are kind of meh but not complaining about anything new lol.
My battery is very bad since the update. Anyone else thinks like me?

Yeah I'm not liking the notification bounce back either.

Overall performance on the home screen and lock screen has been worse for me. I manually updated and wiped dalvik and normal cache before booting...

The new lockscreen should be awesome but it's terrible. Only 4 widgets, what gives? Should be able to use any widget I want! And no more quick access to Google now?

That's up to the app developers to makers widgets that are compatible.

What the story with Miracast, guys? Is there a button for it in the notification settings like there is on the Optimus G?
Can't wait to get home and update my N7...

There's a circle at the bottom of the screen.

i like it a lot actually...chrome feels smoother and faster for me
Those with bad performance, I did a fresh install and its smoother than ever. I hate the smaller dock icons. Seriously, what gives?

Really loving the built in swype... Seems better than the latest swype beta!

I have to agree that the new notification bounceback behavior is really annoying.

Calendar, clock, gmail, and sound search.
I like how gmail is zoomed out all the way and then you can zoom in. Why not add this feature to the stock email app as well?

Pretty sure you're missing the Sound Search widget, it was previously only available for users in America, more people may be able to access it now but some won't be able to based on where they live.
I'm not liking the new clock, the huge bold hour makes it look lopsided, guess I have some kind of symmetrical ocd!
I find it strange that HTC seems to have removed any form of animation when in an app and hitting the home button while using the Sense launcher. It seems... Odd, I guess. I suppose it's quicker than watching an animation, but it almost reminds me of using Windows with animations turned off. I know other launchers (such as Nova) allow the user to change this, but I actually like Sense 5 (and was bugged by the way the lockscreen uses the Sense dock, and Nova doesn't change that).
Any thoughts on this?
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
HTC has always removed these animations. On all the versions of Sense. This is probably the mentality of the "professional" aspect of Sense. I know many people who disable animations on their phones because they fell that's ridiculous or "cheap" to have too animations like that...

Interesting. This is my first HTC phone as well. Given the history of Sense, I'm somewhat surprised HTC would do such a thing. Not that I'm complaining...
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
Yep. The better thing they could do would be to set up as our preferences... Like in Nova / Apex

Hey guys, just like the title says. Is there a widget that shows what you recently used or what apps are open. I know you can double click home button for this. But I was thinking more along the lines of the widget for YouTube.

Hi all,
I added the Google Experience Launcher after the last search update. While playing around I added a home screen. Anybody know how to remove it once it's added?
Thanks,
Lenny

Ah, sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm not trying to remove the launcher apk, I added a home screen to the right when I was playing around with the Google Experience Launcher, I just want to remove that extra home screen so I have the main one and Google Now to the left. Adding the extra home screen was easy, but I can't figure out how to remove it.

Pull everything you have off of it, and it'll disappear.

Thanks, that worked. I originally had nothing on it, don't know why it stayed before. I added a widget though, then removed it and the screen was removed too.
