Here is a compilation of bootanimations. If you've never saved a custom bootanimation here's what you do:
-Download the .zip file to your phone
-Using Root Explorer, Super Manager, Astro, etc., rename the zip as "bootanimation.zip" without the quotes (the .zip extension should already be there anyway).
-Move or copy the renamed zip to /system/media. You'll need r/w permission. This will overwrite your old bootanimation (if want to keep the old one, you should make a copy of it somewhere).
-That's it! Enjoy it on your next reboot!

Thanks to Kyuta Syuko for the inspiration for this. It is meant to be similar to a Dragonball "Super Saiyan Transformation" and includes the destruction of some other phone operating systems.
Paragon Nova bootanimation.zip
These are all the same, except for the obvious color difference. They include a spinning sphere with the android logo and "paragon" underneath. There's also a nova effect pulsing from the sphere with every rotation.
Paramountgon bootanimation.zip
This is a play on the familiar Paramount logo. The regular one is black on a white background while the inverted is white on a black background.
Paragon Orange bootanimation.zip
This starts with the stock Galaxy S animation followed by an orange Paragon glowing text exploding out and pulsating.
Paragon Blue bootanimation.zip
One of my first bootanimations. A simple blue line grows across the screen and the Paragon text emerges from the line with a mirror reflection effect below. The loop is just the blue text pulsating.
Explosion for Paragon bootanimation.zip
Thanks goes to Goldieking for this great animation. It starts with a yellow android logo that explodes with "Paragon Rom". The loop has sparks flying from left and right.
Blue Explosion for Paragon bootanimation.zip
This is the same as the regular one, except converted to blue.
Deep Blue Explosion for Paragon bootanimation.zip
Also the same, but a slightly deeper blue, and the android stays on the screen for twice as long before exploding.
Electro Blue bootanimation.zip
Yet another great animation by Goldieking. It has Paragon in all caps with electric arcs coursing across the screen.
Simple Green bootanimation.zip
Credit again to Goldieking. Starts with the android logo and Paragon below it all in a gray marble texture. The paragon shatters and is blown to the top of the screen. The loop is the android logo changing back and forth between the gray and blue marble (not sure why this was called Simple "Green").

This is the same as the previous one, except with a blank black background. Requested by WickedNite.
Thanks for this its great to have these in one location. I know this may be a noob question but when I flash any of these I do not get the matching wallpaper. Should I? I have found the blue, red and green wallpapers searching the paragon6 thread but not any of the others.

Tried to come up with something original for a silver/metallic theme. Inspired by Frankenstein's monster, but "brought to life" by Paragon.

Requested by WickedNite. Based on a bootanimation from the Continuum ROM but with the generic android text replacing the continuum.

Same as the Android one, except with "Google" as the text and no "Galaxy S" on the bottom.
Paragon Morph bootanimation.zip (3/11/11)
I wanted to do another "simple" animation (and I also noticed that "android" and "paragon" both have the same number of letters ). The android letters morph to spell "Paragon".

Same thing as the other, but with white text on a black background with no color gradient. Has a nice, clean look.

I love the orange theme (I use this with the original gingerbread keyboard-- blackout makes it hard to type).
Does anybody know of a way to just theme the notification pulldown to enable white text on black or dark gray or transparent background? Pretty much anything except the white rectangles on paragon 6?
What's the difference between red/stock and red/black?
I'm guessing red/stock is the red that has the colored menu icons?

v2.3-2.4: Ginger Kids inspiration. Took some parts from Gingerbread and applied them to my theme. Looks like it was meant to be. Image changes include: Check Boxes, Radial Buttons, & Menu popup (when you press menu hardkey). XML changes include: White text for black menu popup, and grey secondary color instead of TW blue throughout the system!
v2.2.1-2.3: BLACK SYSTEM BUTTONS ARE BACK!! XML Edits for white text so I can use black buttons throughout the system! (Thanks fritzgerald!)
v2.2-v2.2.1: Lockscreen themed! Check boxes and more themed darker!
v2-v2.2: Contacts Dialer Tab fixed(ish)! Dialer Tweaks. Long hold power menu AOSP skins used. Settings themed. Notifications made transparent (I couldn't use the darker one as previously mentioned on media player notifications the text is black and couldn't be seen.). Thumb Slider themed. Task Manager Background (any similar pop-ups for that matter). Long Hold Power Menu.
v1-v2: Volume Skinned, Dialer Contacts Skinned, More Gloss Removed, "Galaxy S" Carbon Pulldown, Themed Copy/Paste Finger Navigator Icon, themed list scroll icon, more small tweaks.

You will need to go into your MM settings, and move the delay slider all the way to the right (longest time available).
This should work for most builds. If you dont see your ROM build in the flashes then this is what you will want to try! If your current ROM does not have 1-100% battery then use "No Batt" version!! Remember make sure USB debug is on, and for Froyo if you get a FC or a crash then soft reset. When phone is back up continue on to the next part of the theme! Have not tested on Eclair but it should work.

You can either to it the hard way, here:

Or, what I would personally recommend.
Take my Metamorph file and using winrar or 7zip double click the file to open it.
Take the file you want to use and rename it "status_bar_background.9.png".
Replace the old file inside of MMDarkness/twframework-res/res/drawable-hdpi with the new one you just renamed, close the file, and place it on your phone.
Using Metamorph find the new theme, If there was an old Darkness theme then "Replace" not update, and then theme the twframework-res theme.
You are done, soft reset to see changes!

I love this theme, but I have one suggestion. The checkmarks in settings are hard to see. I'd like to see them in green.

Well that got borked. I followed the steps in the post you pointed me to and it black screened on me. I fortunately had nixxed's update.zip on my sd card and was able to get back to a working phone. Guess I will save that for a later date

Was I only supposed to put it in one framework? I put it in twframework-res.apk and also framework-res.apk
I didn't try it your way as I didn't put your theme back on after my earlier restore. I had done something and my nandroid was of b6 which had your theme on it but didn't realize it was b6 so I restored then updated to b7 and didn't put your theme back on. To make a long winded explination
I have applied the morph (great work by the way, made my first one today lol) but the top buttons above the dialer didnt change. I still have the default blue. Do you know what the png is called for that one? Also on the lock screen once you slide it over to unlock it the back half turns back to green green?

Hey, thanks for doing the conversion. Since I do not have any plan on using ext4 on my phone. I didn't want to post a theme not verified to work 1st.

I am not a fan of gloss and started looking for a matte theme. I found Dark Elegance and installed that. Then I started learning MM and started changing out some of the images. Then I got carried away and changed the whole thing. Even learned 9 patch along the way. Ughh.

Flashing the Update zips.
I used Zip themer to create the zips. So please do a NAND before trying this method. I can not guarantee it will work. Just reboot into recovery and flash the zip file.
MM the theme
Place the Minimal_Green.zip or Minimal_Blue.zip in AndroidThemes and extract using MM. Then do the normal business.
MM can be buggy. So apply one at a time and do the framework last. If MM gives you an error after extracting the zip saying that the theme is not valid, just restart MM and your theme will be there. If MM hangs (the spinner stops spinning) give it a bit and it should re-boot by itself. It has done this to me multiple times. But the theme always sticks.
When applying MM and a sub theme doesn't stick, the main reason for this is that you have a duplicate apk in data/app. Delete the one in system/app and move the new one over from data/app to system/app. Then reboot. See THIS thread for further details.
Installing the fonts.
Place the font zip in the root of your SDCard and flash that from recovery. I've included the font I am using and the stock font in case you want to go back.
I have tested this on KaosFroyo v37 though v39. Nothing else. So do a NAND if you are going to try it on another ROM or phone.
For people asking about how to re-size and overlap widgets, go HERE.
As usual, I am not responsible if you brick your phone. And do a NAND first!

The file you want to modify is status_bar_item_background_normal.png in framework res. I just put a single green line at the bottom.

I am not a fan of gloss and started looking for a matte theme. I found Dark Elegance and installed that. Then I started learning MM and started changing out some of the images. Then I got carried away and changed the whole thing. Even learned 9 patch along the way. Uggh.
Some of the original files from the Dark Elegance theme are still in my Minimal Green zip. But very few. I have tried contacting sunder74 but have not gotten a response. If you see this sunder74 and want me to change out your images, let me know!

The Eris is MDPI. So the resolution will be correct. But I have no idea about the structure of the myTouch. You can try. But do a NAND first just in case

Yeah, I haven't ported the theme to the newer versions of the roms because I'm in the last 2 weeks of school so I really don't have much time to work on it. In about a week I'll have much more time and I can port them very quickly. I will also be porting the theme to whatever new gingerbread roms come up, such as GR-12. And once school is finished I will have much more time and I can start working on my actual theme which will be much more complete.
Can't wait for this!!!!

Yeah I'll be porting it to as many roms as I can but right now I'm on a 17 day vacation to Australia so I haven't done anything with it lately.
Added the Blue Darkness port to Cognition 5 Beta 3, all other ports will be up in the next few days!
I tried this twice on Cog5B3 and both times it deleted amost of my apps including. Cog install, Market and TiBu not allowing me to install them again without a reflash of the ROM.
I re flashed Cog5 and then immediately flashed this Theme before installing any apps and all was fine until I did a revert which eliminated market and the same apps.
Wanted to use this . I am a huge fan of Reefer's Darkness theme and PaulDiddy neither of which I think will be ported to this ROM
Would I be fair to assume that when you release it for Continuum 6.1, that it will work fine on 6.0 or will be a "find out yourself" kind of thing?

Sorry if I find that hard to believe, there is nothing in the installer script that would do that, and there is nothing in the theme that would do that. I'll look into it but you are the first case I've ever had with a problem like that. If you want I can work with you privately when I get back home Sunday to try to figure out what is going on. And I will be portion this to Continuum 6.1, if there were no framework changes in the update then it should work with 6.0. I will put a note up when I port it whether it works with 6.0 or not.

Will be porting all of the themes to as many roms as possible today. Today is the first day I have had any time to do this.
Added Apex 8.2 for Blue Darkness v1.3! I ran into a lot of problems that I wasn't expecting and it took a while to sort them all out. It should be fine now but please report any problems you may find. Now that I've figured out how to fix all the problems I had with porting the theme to Apex 8.2 it will be much easier porting it to other roms and porting updates to the theme here on forward. I will try to get the other roms ported to as soon as I can, which hopefully won't take quite as long!

The Dark blue theme for Apex 8.2 suffers from a bug that the Matted Blue theme had previously concerning the SGS lock screen. It will display a large fuzzy 0, and wink in and out until you unlock it. SGS II and other lock screens do not have this behavior. Again, this was a known issue with a previous version of the Matted Blue theme for Apex, but was fixed in subsequent versions. You might be able to ask the author what he did to fix it.

After downloading the theme and applying it via CWM, I notice the phone app was not present. The notification dropdown seems no different than before. I have not applied a theme in ages as I usually use Go launcher, so what may have gone wrong? I will probably reinstall the original theme until I can figure out what happened.

Could have been a bad or incomplete download. Might want to redownload and reflash for the phone and pulldown. On your go launcher check your settings cause if I rember right you can change icons from go launcher icons to stock/theme icons

Vacation was great I see you were working hard.i got to play catch up.im glad you doing so great on your themes.
I always clear cache when flashing. I used TW and stock launchers and nothing seemed to change, except the loss of the phone app. Everything is fine after the revert.
I just noticed that my Data button in the pull down doesn't work. I can toggle it but it wont actually do anything. Is it just me?
Is it just the data button? And when you click it does a small blue bar underneath turn on and off?? Only the bluetooth and wifi buttons change appearance and that is only when they are turning on and off. To see if an option is turned on or off look for the small blue bar under the icon

Ok right now mine is working but let me poke around some see if I can replicate the issue and I will post back in a little while
Edit: I hate to ask the obvious but I gotta. When you click the data toggle does the 3G icon come on or off? And at the bottom of the signal bars does the bottom 2 bars stay blue or turn white?
It did nothing. I would hit the toggle and nothing would happen. But after a reflash of the theme it works now. No clue what was causing it, I didn't even redownload the file I just reflashed the same one.
