[Themed Rom][Darkstar Open Eclair 1.2.2][2/25/10]

Hey all, I did the best I could to get this to Darkstar on open eclair 1.2.1 baconweave.
This is a full rom so you will need to do a full wipe before flashing.
I did not build this rom so thanks to the open eclair team for an excellent 2.1 rom and I would also like to thanks to all the brilliant design minds that created Darkstar. It is by far my favorite theme. That is why I did this. I can only hope they will create a real theme for open eclair releases.

mate you have done a great job porting our theme. thanks for saving me, cache and freeky some time. if you dont mind could we expand on this to add everything else like xmls edits and finish up the port? you will get credit of course.

Have at it. This was only my second time messing with themes so I did the best I could with the limited knowledge I have. I just finished with the framework-res.apk, the services.jar and the launcher.apk for 1.2.2

yo dude change your default launcher to regular and your phone will speed up 300%.
Not kidding, that thing is a RAM HOG

Dude wud that matter much since the gl drivers have been updated to the point the entire thing wud be faster and once 1.2.3 comes out that wud be way faster wudnt it plus I've taskilled launcher 2 and restarted and everything is fine not like its a loading screen on a sense rom anyway

Has anyone else been getting "Package file was not signed correctly" when updating the facebook application on this ROM?

Oooops, just experienced the Samsung keyboard bug present in XXDLH9 (keyboard blocks with one vibration and after a while debock with 3 short vibrations). Any way to fix it?

Thats wierd i never had any problems with keyboard upto now..Did you do a full wipe?also wipe dalvik cache..maybe a third party application you installed?
Try disabling keyboard vibration will also save you battery life :]

This is very fast and very stable ! I, too have the problem with Samsung keyboard, I changed to Swiftkey 3 and all is well. Very nice work - thanks for sharing - I will be using this for a while ::thumbup::

After using this since last night I am really liking it- cool options.
Just one other issue, live wallpaper picker fc's, no biggie as I rarely use live wallpaper.

To install this theme, you must have ROOT privileges and AOKP, CM9 or CM10 based rom.
I am working as good and quicly as I can in order to update the theme. Therefore, I hope you all enjoy it .
Possible errors:
If you get the following error “Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device’s screen size” hit apply anyways
If you get the following error “This theme was improperly compiled and cannot be applied” Apply the System Theme, Restart your device and try applying again. Do keep in mind that these errors are common on pretty much every theme out there.
Deleting data of Theme Provider after applying System Theme can fix issues sometimes. Settings -> Apps -> All -> Theme Provider -> Delete Data.
Feel free to report any errors you might explore.

- This application is installed normally by just opening it. There might be times where it doesn't respond properly, though. To fix this, locate the app in Apps and FC + clear data.​

Ive change to system theme then reboot, deleted the data of theme provider but still i get the theme error this theme was improperly compiled...

What is your phone running on? I have it working on CM9 atm, if anyone could test it on CM10, it could be great

Stock status bar icons?
Specifically the AT&T Signal indicator that comes with the stock build? Can you re-add that - or even go straight stock icons at the top for al indicators? - otherwise, everything else is perfect.

@-SmOgER : I am willing to believe that the pictures in OP could be just pictures of the real Sense 5.
Perhaps you can take a look to see what's actually in the mod file? (i'm sorry I can't do it myself. Decompiling apks never really worked for me. :/ )

Excuse me, I'm not aware I wrote wrong ...
The point is: I set up this theme when the phone, camera, other buttons are signs disappeared .. I wonder if I use the ROM right? What can you recommend me to use ROM?'m counting on your experience .. I'll be very glad if you can help in this regard ...

This is not a ROM, it's a mod/theme for Sense 4.
Ask such questions OP, as he is the one who made it... I haven't tried it personally.

For example, the Sense 5 lockscreen is taken (again without any notice or permission asked) from : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39555206&postcount=2478
Sense_5_Lockscreen_(RC9.5).zip to be exact.
Anyway as this Lockscreen mod is almost one year old ... it's ok for everyone want to include in ROMs or MODs .... a credit is appreciated

If you want to do this yourselves.
1st Download and install xposed framework installer to your phone (root needed)
Get it here
Check framework is the latest in framework
.Then in download section of xposed framework search for resflux and install
Or get it here
Then in modules section of xposed enable resflux and reboot
Open reflux and select laboratory
Then click the app you want nodded
Then simply use the up to select and change texts. Colours back rounds etc.
Then to apply . Press back and reboot
Use only png images for back rounds
IL give a more detailed guide when I get to my pc.

Has anyone tried this yet? I just tried and i changed colors of alot of things in gear manager on phone and rebooged has in still phone this same.When i went back into theming app the colors where still changed to what i changed them to but in gear manager they didnt change.I have it checked in exposed so that isnt the problem.Do you need to clear cache of gear manager or whatever app your trying to theme? It seems like a good app if it works rite.
So i just looked on the developers page and it was confirmed working on a few devices and alot of stock roms.I have galaxy s4 with hyperdrive rom so maybe it doesnt work on my phone.

No no. Ita not the app or phone. You mustnt have changed the right thing when going to look for it. Its Quite tricky . Trial and error will help you perfecr it

I got it, thanks for the info.I never knew about this app.I did get it to work on my phone and tablet.It just only works with certain apps.Still pretty cool and thanks for sharing.

Practical experience is the best lesson: Why don't you give us a typical example with screenshots how you, for example changed background color. Assume that being the easiest to do and good start...Thanks!

i thought about that, but then id be writing guides up for every app, the best thing to do is just trial and error yourselves
