Okay so I've flashed this and it all works perfect, the only thing that happens is that it kills my network access for some reason, I've used the theme porter and still get the same thing, there must be a file that needs editing but I wouldn't know where to start, hence the thread. We've seen what Sonny can do with CyanogenMod...

Oke no worth to try for me, maybe the evo version will work ?
Ill try and flash that version....

If this works do be sure to let me know , I seriously want this like I want to win the Lottery lol!
It's the EVO version I flashed, like I said, it works perfect asides what happens to my network when it's been flashed, let me know what happens with you.

Flash did not work for me, it aborted installation
We just have to wait for someone to port this to the DHD

Maybe...maybe not....we will see if its beeing ported (sure hope so) for now im staying at the onyx theme and keep an eye out for this

This has already been done incl. permissions from jabberwalkie to 1.72 and 1.84 base and also to CM7. Theme Name is Elegant Blues, since there were too many changes and additions. Some details always look different on AOSP, since for example dialers look way different. The screens in your link are from the CM7 version, the Sense version is a bit different.
Anyway with next update there will come new dialers like these as addons:

A friend of mine has this phone and has been wanting me to root/rom it for a while, but I just haven't had the time to do it. Probably going to get started working on it this Saturday for him, but I never made any promises. I just made a quick glance at your dev section to see the ROM list and you guys don't have AOSP. Some questions and feedback would be nice. I'm going to port the ROM for his phone anyway, and if nitro will allow it, I'll release it on here(giving credit where it is due).

Do you have 2nd Init.d?
Is clockwork fully working?
And if you have any other tidbits that may need to be known, just post it here. Keep in mind this is not a FOR CERTAIN THING. If he won't allow me to upload it, I'm sure I can give him the .zip and he will make edits or post for you guys. But I will need his approval before I can release it to you. Keep in mind this may not be released this coming Saturday, but I should have it within the next week. Just let me know something and answer questions above.

I would rather make the port with the current because I'm not sure how nitro themes his rom(styles or full edits) and I don't have the droid 3 to test with constantly to make the rom.. ill have a day or two to test and thats about it haha... but I will be able to get this to you guys pretty much fully functioning as it is on our x2.
Im going to make a themer app for the market soon that will change these flashable themes automatically and give a tutorial on how to use it on here when I get it made. SO you will be able to change these common settings with ease. Sorta a UOT, but on your phone.

If it would be easy to port it then it would have already been done. Some things are just too hard and if the people who are capable of doing it have no interest then it will never be fixed.
We could do a poll to see how many people are interested in this kind of ROM but I can tell you, the interest in SGS devopment got smaller as people buy new phones. Development is also not as active anymore then it was 1 year ago. This can be seen by the few ROMs and Kernels that are still being worked on!

The newest team is using completely different base. The rom is not updating because now they are working on sense 4.0. They got it booting on nexus s. And soon it will boot on galaxy s There is a problem with booting in galaxy s and galaxy nexus. Qube said me the problems are same. When the problem is fixed. You can try sense 4.0 on your galaxy s.

And oh, FYI, it is generally, thread goes by the earlier spelling. "Threat", on the other hand means something entirely different.
You would expect a "senior member" on XDA to know enough to not start a "sense"less thread in the Dev section. (If you see a pun here, it was intended.... )

Thread could be moved without blocking it. I don't understand this stupid aggression about sources. I only want to use stable CyanogenMod on our phones. Now everything is gone, at least until the holidays (I mean OliverG96).

Agreed. Google never released source for Honeycomb (which meant no CM8) and Cyanogen himself was cool with the reasons for doing so. It's not like withholding source is without precedent here.

Google had rather more than 1 person working on the project, so any issues would be resolved by many eyes looking at it. That's why, as far as I can see, others are asking for the source. "Many hands make light work" and all that...
Maclaw can retain overall control of the source in the same way as Linus does with Linux if he wishes, and I doubt anyone would have a problem with that.
(And before anybody says I don't know what I'm talking about... I've been a developer for 25 years - occasionally in a team of 1 - so I know how tricky it can be to miss things that a second person would see instantly)

It just was kind of spam as you posted on another thread about Jolla Sailfish OS,
that's why I answered it.
And now you open another thread about Jolla Sailfish OS beside your first one
and the post on "Team Rom Port Effort" ?
There is probably a reason why this has not been ported yet
and that's whether because not that much people like it, it's too hard to
port and the effort and time would be in no relation to the features of this OS
or the devs are more likely to port more popular roms (and we are really lucky that
our devs have ported such a massive number of awesome roms.
