XBackup & Ext ROM

I did a backup of my PDA using XBackup. I assume that the data was placed on my storage card. I then loaded the updated ROM. Now, I went back to XBackup and cannot restore my old programs and contacts...it does not find any backup file on the storage card (or anywhere). I also browsed the storage card with the file explorer and found my photos and music, but not backup file that I could see. Am I truly out of luck on restoring all my contacts and programs? Can anyone suggest a saving operation?

Titanium Backup Files Location

I have a Galaxy Tab (T-Mobile version). The file locations on this version are somewhat different than most other Android devices. Specifically, the internal memory is partitioned into a system/user area and an area that it identifies as "sdcard". I have an external micro SD card and it is identified as a folder on "sdcard" called "external_sd". By default, Titanium Backup places the backup files on the SD card. Unfortunately, on these T-Mobile Tabs, that means that the backup files are actually located on the internal memory. I would really prefer to have the files located on the external SD card. I can't find any settings in TB to change the location of the backup files. The only alternative I can see would be to manually copy the files from the "sdcard" to the "external_sd".
Thoughts...opinions?

Just change the backup folder in Titanium to external_sd/TitaniumBackup.

Duh.....I can't believe I stared at this issue for as long as I did and didn't realize this. I was trying to find some setting in TB that would allow a change to the External storage location (which can't be changed), not realizing that I could achieve that using a full path name for the Backup directory (which can be changed).

[Q] About Titanium Backup & RMaps on Optimus 2x

For Titanium Backup, can I change the backup path to external SD card? In the "General" tab, it only display the internal memory and internal SD card but not the external SD card.
Similary for RMaps, can I place the offline map to external SD card? Cuz its default path is internal SD card /sdcard/rmaps/maps, and it seems it cannot be changed.

For titanium backup yes:
open your preferences, and scroll down to backup folder name (under Backup Settings) the syntax for me is:
/mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD/YourDirectory/

I try to restore my apps with titanium backup.
But i discovered that i cant find any missing apps in my phone
Those apps' data are in my external sd card
So how can i set the sd card as main storage?

Assuming you only want to restore your backups, simply enter Titanium Backup, click Menu/Preferences/Backup Folder location, click Detect, click Whole Device, then choose the correct backup folder and click "Use the current folder".
After exiting preferences you should be able to restore your TBs.
As for the mounts, I've yet to see anyone successfully create a CM-like mounting scheme for stock ROMs.

[Q] Titanium Backup and folder mount

Hello,
I have folder mount working and in order (I paid for it to), so when I backup with titanium backup (pro) it doesn't backup the mounted folders which remain on the sd card, I tested it to see and it didn't work, Basically I backed up gta 3 which was mounted to external storage (sd card) and then uninstalled the game and then restored the game with TB which it only restored the apk and not any data, so is there anyway to backup mounted folders with TB, or do I just leave them in the sd card and restore the data separately after?
