Hi guys,
Well, after nearly two months of fairly hard work designing and (in some cases) redesigning, I'm happy to release my first pack of HD Icons to the Android Community. This is a project still very much in process, as I see myself adding more packs as time goes on...however I was happy enough with the first 68 icons to release them out in the wild.
For the more astute amongst you, you'll notice that I mentioned a zip file and readme file, etc. SORRY! My bad...I intended to do the zip file, then came across the possibility of a gallery and got so overwhelmed with the graphical possibilities that I clean forgot about the zip file.

thank you, these are killer icons. i really like the look of them. one thing i did notice when i save the icons to my desktop and then apply to my phone is that there are little white edges on the corners of the icons. is this by design? or am i missing something?
also, would it be possible to create an icon for the app drawer?

Top-notch icons, look great on my n1. If you're taking requests, might I suggest an icon for cyanogens DSP settings app or a graphic equalizer type look. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent looking.
Zipped them...

As long as you save them in .png format then the transparency should remain. If you save them in .jpg then you'll get white corners.
Is it all, or just some?

Knew there was one missing, I'll get on it, doing Gtalk and Whatsapp too.

My psds won't teach you much I'm afraid.
Theres not much to making a glassy / glossy effect, you just draw over the item you want it done to with a circular shape (easiest to work with). Apply brightness, white to transparent gradient. Just think about where the light is, keep having a go on photoshop

Yeah I got the one rar with the psds just noticed now actually as I am sitting down to work on them. I think thats great you would do that. Changing those colors is as easy as just messing with the hue/saturation. I already have a few of them done. If anyone else wants custom colors I would be willing to do help out.

So here is one I found missing. An icon for email. I used the files PSD and found an envelope online hope you all enjoy it. This is using the Thick Glass PSD.

~ gmail icon: patterned after the Gmail Android Theme. I thought it would look good to recreate Andy as an icon
~ market icon: patterned after the WebOS market icon. Again, I thought it would look good
~ music icon: saw a great pic of a cassette, and wanted to reproduce it in vector form
~ I look everywhere for ideas, but make 95% of my own graphics
~ I use Inkscape, which uses svg, so there is no psd for the template
~ There is really no template, I use a rounded-corner square and a little dropshadow

Do you have a rough idea on when you might release the first set?? (I'll try them now if you want!! )

I hope to have a week or so of some previews, then release a beta set to a few peeps; I want to have them tested on a variety of phones and resolutions. I will definitely keep you in mind when i release a beta, since you were the first to respond .
I will take requests down the road. Soon I will post a list of what I have created so far.

I have three market icons right now, and none of them resemble the stock icon. I am typically going for things different from the norm, but I will see what I can come up with. Thanks for the feedback.

I use Launcher 7 also. These were originally designed as 'tiles', hence the name 'panels'. If they do well, I will probably rework them (by sharpening the corners and deleting the dropshadow) into different size tiles, 2x1 and 1x2s.

Here is the first release of my first icon pack for android, Fusion HD.
Inspiration has came many icon sets out there, and mixing those ideas with my own I have came up with these. Hence the name fusion.
The pack contains 62 icons, including alternatives, of size 120x120.

This is the second preview of the icon set I have been working on. Release should be very soon now. Just need to make some more of the common icons, and a few tweaks here and there.
I have made quite a few different versions of some icons, and will be releasing them all, so the user can decide which they'd rather use.
Comments and suggestions are very much welcome.

Little thing I noticed is the lighting effects on the phone and facebook icon, maybe it would look more consistent if all the icons did or didn't have that effect? It's on the youtube one too, so maybe it's just a "screen" type effect? Again, really nice work.

Thanks for your comments. The reflection type effect was initially just for screens like the phone, but then I started trying it on other icons, and liked it. So I may end up having it on all icons, then again I may just have it on screens only. Cant decide as of yet.

Here are two mclock mods, a clock and calender to match this icon pack
• Install mClock from the market.
• Create a folder in the root of your SD card called 'mClock'.
• Extract the .zip content into this folder.
• Add a 1x1 mClock widget on your homescreen.
• Hit "Xml Template" in the mClock settings.
• go to /sdcard/mClock/FusionClock/ and select clock or calender .xml file.
I have resized the images to match the icon size which desktop visualizer produces on my HDPI device. I am unsure if the size will match on MIUI launcher or different resolution devices, so feedback would be very useful.

I have just noticed that after the resize, many of the icons edges have messed up, so I have added the original 250x250 images into the download. (No idea why I chose to work with that size!) So the download size has gone up by a fair bit! Ill try to get round to fixing the smaller ones soon, sorry guys and gals!

Does nova prime allow for larger icons on the gear?

I only have the free version even on my phone so I can't check it myself. I want to make my direct dial shortcut icons bigger. The default size is pretty small. Anybody have a screenshot of the larger icons? Thanks

you get the option to increases the size up to 130% on icon size, But I can tell you that is not much.
However, you can do what I did. I created a picture with my contacts on it, and the used UCCW to make each contact a hot spot that when pressed direct dials them. This way I am no longer limited to the size of icons or the look of icons, I create the pic I want and make it behave the way I want.
Here is how my contact screen looks, it is just one large pic with hot spots created. (I fuzzed out the pics for posting)

maybe with a custom widget you can create shortcuts with bigger image..

Quite a interesting app.. nice alternative to touchwiz.

I use widgetsoid for this. Make a widget that points to an app (it uses the apps icon) remove the background and indicator and then resize the widget to the size you like. You can make a template so all you have to do is point to the app to create one.

I am so glad you turned me in to this. It is one of the best apps I have ever used. I got my Icons laid out nicely to all different sizes and shapes. This was a blessing and I see why Fomey expressed a nod of interest in the app

I did the same lay out you did with Desktop Visualizer but I used some custom icons I downloaded from this forum. I mean absolutely gorgeous with the colors and all. You try your same layout with some custom icons
