[Q] Asking for Helv Neue S

Hi Guys,
I'm from the i9000 thread, and I was wondering if someone can extract this font for other users looking for this. It's looking like SGS II uses this font and for now only galaxy tab has this. Thanks!

mod, i'm wondering if it would be ok to post this question in Dev section to get more exposure?

Why not just download the overcome rom, and extract it from there?

i tried downloading 2 roms already and I haven't had luck finding it. perhaps somebody could help or guide me on a rom that surely has it. i can't afford downloading all of tab roms :-/

arabic support without rooting.can we

hello all
my phone or all of phone come without Arabic support are there are any way to make my phone to read and write Arabic without make rooting for my mobile
all i need to read and write i don't need to make all phone with list and menu in
Arabic
please if any body can help pls don't hesitate to do it

There are ways to read / write Arabic in SMS (apps available in the Market), and the latest Firefox displays Arabic websites correctly.

about reading sms and net is okay but what about Facebook ot twitter of chating by any app
and BOUT WRITING I DIDN'T FOUND ANY APP TO ADD ARABIC SUPPORT IN PHONE ALL APP IN MARKET SAID THAT I MUST HAVE THE ARABIC FONT FIRST nd S U KNEW I DON'T HAVE IT already
if u have name of this app which ca help in read and write pls told me BOUT IT

I tried many possibilities, but didnt manage to get arabic working, eventually i rooted the phone and installed the latest Gingerbread Cyanogen 7. Arabic is built in.

sorry for the late reply, adel x...
unfortunately, facebook's app won't display arabic properly unless you have the language in your system. you have no choice but to root your device to get this done.
for typing arabic, there is a keyboard by the name 'Ibrahim Arabic Keyboard' and it is available in the market for free. there are other apps by the same developer (Aziz Huss), that include 'Mirsal' (arabic sms) and 'Arabic Contacts.'
and like swehbe said, currently rooting is the best option. i tried LeeDroid's ROM (2.2) and now am using Spike's CM7. both have arabic language and are working great.

problem with arabic font on froyobread..

hey guys..first of all i want to thank u all for the efforts u're giving here..i tried a lot of roms..but the best one for me was froyobread..i just have one problem with the arabic font..it's not that common problem of the letters being separated..no..it just adds more letters that i didn't write!!.. i just wanna know if i can get the arabic font that used in ginger roms for the froyobread..and how i can change it if it's possible...

maybe nobody's intersested in arabic i can understand that..but if u can give me the fonts files and i'll try it myself

Ask it on froyobread topic... or send a pm to dx with this question....he would knew answer....
P.s if its adds more letters then you wrote maybe you should off text prediction and auto correct text, and try....

Sorry if ever this question has been ask and answered but i search and did not find any.
I have a HTC Incredible S 4.0.4 and i want to change the default dial pad to 4.2.2 and also sms keyboard to 4.2.2
Can you please just advise what to copy and replace

Dial pad might require system app changes and lib changes might be a bit difficult
Keyboard you can download Google keyboard from play store

i am using i9000 and JVU 2.3.6 rom but i cant add exchange account.When i try i cant open e-mail apk.
the important thinks are
*hotspot
*exhachange mail and contact synchronize
*good battery and quality when calling
*fastest stock rom*
*Must be for TURKEY
but language is not important it can be only english
there are important because of i will use for work telephone
Can u give me a idea for which STOCK ROM?
can u give odin files link for rom?
