I need to post 8 times to be able to search a thread, and I don't want to tie up another thread, so I started this one.
If you need to get your post count up don't start a new thread. help someone out in a Q&A section post a screen shot in the post your home screen thread there is loads of stuff you can do to get you post count up.

Do you realize there is a reason why the Admins decided to restrict limits on new members? If you want to be a valuable member of the community, work towards your count. Please read "Postcount limit in developmental fora"
I have found Google search works better than xda search anyway.

Hi Everyone!!!!
I am posting this thread because i just saw the announcement that some of the legacy forums (including this one) will be closed (read-only) because of no or very little post activity.
If you guys want this forum to be closed, fine. Don't post any thing.
But if you want this forum to be up and working just like before, then reply to this post and keep it working.

I will highly suggest for you to rethink your strategy, mate. Spamming the forums in order to post in development it's a big no-no.
I saw that you participated on some other threads in a pro-active manner...don't ruin that type of behavior by opening useless threads like this one.

I need to ask a question regarding a my knock on issue but can't reply to a thread that I want to post in. So I guess I need to post in here to see if someone can copy my question to that thread. I would like to get this resolved but I'm at a stand still until someone can help me out.
This is the thread I want to ask a couple of questions in.

I've followed the instructions for the hidden menu. I've got it installed and did the firmware update. It seems to be working for everyone. It's not for me however. I'm on the newer version and I still can't get the knock on to work. Knock off works fine. I've noticed that some of my apps have dead spots on the screen also.
What do I do next. It was working fine last night. I put the phone on my charger around 2am last night, woke up at 9 and it didn't work.
Will a factory reset work? I'm on verizon 24a stock rom but rooted. I noticed that there is a system update available. I really don't want to have to reflash back. I like the phone as it is. I just want the knock on feature to work and my other apps. Can someone help me out here.

Rather than being in such a rush to post in a Development forum, spend a bit more time to ensure you post in the correct section to begin with.
We have a Q&A forum for a reason... that's where this should have been posted so I've moved it there.
Also, Development forums are for Development. They are not generally for the purpose of posting your Q&A.
Search properly first... You're unlikely to be the first person to experience your issue and your question has more than likely been answered multiple times.

Sorry....I've search and search for my specific problem and there's nothing in these threads that cover it. I was under the assumption that I could only post in the general forum only due to my post count. Didn't know I could post in the Q&A forum or I would have put it there. Thanks for moving it for me.
What I'm trying to understand is since there's already a thread on this problem, why shouldn't I be allowed to post in it instead of starting a new thread about the same topic that won't be looked at. I'll follow the rules but to me it would seem easier to post in that thread without having to start a brand new thread on the same topic.

You're welcome to post in that thread now, without trying to boost your post count any further.
I've moved that thread out of the Development forum because it shouldn't have been there to begin with.
