[Theme Chooser] Updated 4/12/11 Speedometer battery gauge with 1% increments

4/12/2011 - Rebuilt and fully working with any Theme Chooser version on any device. No more missing assets errors . The charge animation has also been corrected It does display battery percentage in 1% increments.
NOTE: When using this theme you need to disable display battery percentages in CM settings for the battery icon to work properly.
To use this is simple:
1. Download apk.
2. Navigate to the file on your SD Card through Astro or your file manager of choice.
3. Select apk and choose Open App Manager.
4. Install
5. Open Theme Chooser.
6 Select the theme which will show as a black screen for now and say @string/theme_name.
7. You will see a screen pop up that says Theme Error... Hit apply anyway.
8. Reboot.
This has been tested on Blackened Ginger Tazz and should work with any CM 7 ROM. Any feedback as to which roms it's been used on would be helpful.

I've updated my instruction post to point back to the OP here.

It appears that my method of installation results in some problems. When charging, the gauge disappears, and the xda app doesn't work. I must have missed something or the version of resources.asrc isn't compatible across roms, etc.

Dude, Awesome!

i'm getting a bootloop after i flash the zip and reboot. i did a cache wipe before i flashed. am i missing something? forgive my ignorance

still no luck when i flashed without wiping cache.

I believe celb has a different framework... I can make a flashable for it when I upload the fix for this one in a couple of hours.

Yes, that's all that's changed. I'll be posting another version soon that B.Li is going to email me but I don't know if anything other than the icons is themed.

I understand, man. I've considered theming more of it, I'm just not sure what to theme.

Look really nice ... good to see that there are some people who do care for Android user and make app look how we want ...
but i have problem i cannot install this on my device ... i got official FB and when i try to install its say it will update on current FB.. but then he give error cannot install on this device

Hmm, you might need to uninstall the version you have on your phone first. I always do and I don't have problems but I don't know if that's required but I'd try it.

removed official app.. installed this apk.. open.. FB still looks the same =/ where did i go wrong.

As many of you know, the theme included with GingerREMIX is my Sense Squared theme. Here I will be posting theme updates; including new apps/elements and additional colors as well as alternative versions of some features. Based on the voting in my s2 for Froyo thread, the first full color change will be from green to blue.
All files are flashed in recovery.

Don't mean to be a ****, but did you even read the first thread. IT CLEARLY STATES FOR GINGERREMIX ONLY!!!

I could be wrong but isn't 2.0-5 a gingerREMIX? I also flashed the black dialer Mod for NTE over 2.0-5 gingerREMIX with ZERO issues at all.

Very nice. Can we get alternate dialer screens and other coolness like the 2.0?

Did you clear anything prior to flashing? I cleared davlik cache and then flashed and I got the ring.

Are you using the HTC Skin? The file I altered also had other rings contained within but I only changed the default. Not sure yet what effects what on GB.

@gregnice37. Cleared cache and dalvik and reflashed and still nothing, what skin and lockscreen are you on?

[CM7 Theme Chooser] StatusBar Transparency Patch

I recently switched over to CM7 and I tend to flash a lot of different themes, but the Meizu theme really caught my attention. I dig transparency in the statusbar a lot and this theme just doesn't look right without it. I couldn't find a patch for the Fascinate's CM7 and didn't know if one of the already-made patches would work so instead of being lazy and risking it I made one myself. If you have no idea what I'm talking about take a look at this thread.

FLASH AT OWN RISK! - There should be no problems since only the SystemUI.apk is being replaced but you never know.
For JT's CM7 Test 5 only since that's what I used and not sure if other versions will work. DO NOT flash on any other rom!
Two zips are attached to be flashed in orange CWM:
SystemUI_Patch - Enables transparency/ mods pulldown
SystemUI_UndoPatch - Reverts to stock
Instructions:
Get to orange CWM recovery
- Open terminal emulator
- Type "su" and hit enter (allow permissions if you hadn't already)
- Type "reboot recovery" and hit enter
Choose install zip from SD card
Locate and choose SystemUI_Patch.zip
Let install then reboot
...Done!
Note: This patch will NOT make all themes' statusbar transparent only those that support it such as Meizu, Naked Simplicity, and Easy Day.

internet is serious business, thats why... lol, people get hyped up initially when they see something like this but upon further investigation realize how awful and how much of a pain in the ass it is to get things working properly, the hype wears off soon enough, i hope people aren't committing suicide trying to mess this with semi-aite rom none of us can read

All JB roms you can find are based in the GB kernel. Those roms works very well except for hw acceleration, so no video camera and no Netflix. Look for epinters rom.
