Dear XDA,
I recently purchased the premium version of the xda app and I love it.
I was just wondering I guess if there is a honeycomb modified version in the works.
If you would like a person to beta test and report to you, I would be thrilled!
Thanks,

+1.. would also like to see a tablet version.
It's based on Tapatalk, so I think they would have to update Tapatalk first. Correct me if I'm wrong.
But, yes, that would be great!
Add me as someone who would pay again for a tablet version. I am guessing that tapatalk would need to be updated first.
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
Off topic, but I don't like tapatalk (even though I paid for the premium xda app), and would like to know who decided it was a good idea to pop up the "native android" tapatalk window on every friggin' android forum so I can send them a rotten cabbage.
+1 on the rotten cabbage.
yes, my xda premium app works fine on my galaxy tablet, but always forces close on my new xoom. I would love to see an update real soon.

Yes, I get it to work sometimes but experience many force closes as well on my WiFi Only Xoom. Would love an update.

+1 on a tablet optimized version.
Using the website is nice, but it has it's bugs within the native browser. Have yet to try it on anything else, but plan to in the future.
I get so much fc with xda app. We neeeed a tablet version!!!!!

The xda premium and regular xda app both force closes on my xoom whenever I attempt to open a post. This does not happen on tapatalk or on web on xoom.

Hopefully this is being worked on. I don't see why it wouldn't seeing as this is primarily an android hacking site.
It can't be done without a tablet version of Tapatalk (which I would love to see)
So xda can't create an app independent of Tapatalk? I'm not buying that. I know the current xda app is based off/connected to Tapatalk, but i don't see how they couldn't create an app.

They probably could develop a custom one but why reinvent the wheel? I recommend contacting the developers of Tapatalk if you want resolution to issues and create a Honeycomb friendly version. That would be much faster than programming a custom app.

I see that quickoffice is installed but there is no app icon for it. If I open an office attachment it comes up but what if I want to start one or open existing doc saved on the xoom. On that note there is also no built in file explorer that I can find...
Sent from my Xoom using XDA App
The quickoffice that is installed is just a reader there is a paid version in the market which lets u make new docs and if u need a file explorer I use astro it works flawlessly.

As an alternative you could just purchase a copy of Documents to Go. It works quite well on the xoom and in my experience is faster than quick office.
Keep in mind that the full version of Quick office is a commercial product and the distribution of the APK is wares. If you want quick office for android you can purchase it at their site:

Because you are offering to distribute software to people without the autorization to do so.
Just because it came with your phone, doesn't give you the right to distribute it to others.
DocumentsToGo is buggy on Honeycomb. Try editing a spreadsheet and you'll see it just doesn't work...the edits appear in random cells. I'm using the full paid version.

I have the full paid version too but my Xoom is still on its way (hopefully!). The main reason to buy this was to have good office software in the future. I used DtG on my Nook Color but so far I am far from impressed but I was hoping it's only b/c it was never intended to run on that device. If it's still not good on the Xoom I will be very sad. However, I thought I read in a different thread that DtG is planning a major update soon. Hopefully that will fully support a "real" tablet!

Even if it is the version on the xoom you are offering, which I highly doubt, you are not authorized to redistribute it. If you are offering the full version, which is what people are asking for, then it is definitely warez. So which are you guilty of, poor reading comprehension or sophistry.

It's a graphing calculator that costs ~$100 emulated in a free app.

this is awesome! Everything seems to work just like my actual calc, writing programs and all.
Anyone know if its possible to load programs into this thing rather than having to manually enter the code?
Not like i can actually use this during a math exam, teachers strictly say no phones whatsoever, but it would be good to brush up on my math when having a little down time. Just need the programs on them.
I'll try lookin in the folders using root explorer, but maybe someone has another idea how to load em?
long shot i know, but would be cool

I actually have a decently functioning d2att port. How to install if interested:
First make a backup
Then wipe data. You can dirty flash if you're already running cm10.1 but don't dirty flashes are a no-no.
Then flash this:
http://db.tt/p4FgJsnN
Then flash this:
http://db.tt/KoRbVtrT
But WiFi/cell service doesn't work at all yet so just understand that before you flash. Also the screen doesn't really shut off. Sort of a pain in the butt but still, its for developers haha.
Oh and also MAKE A BACKUP.
This actually isn't all my work, i just simply modified a few text files. Here is the original thread:

Tapatalk here as well. Word of warning though, the ui on it has really gone downhill on it lately; super clunky and convoluted.
Xda premium is just tapatalk that only does xda. The name is even com.quoord.tapatalkxdapre.activity
Xda premium only updates after tapatalk does. Thats why xda free and premium update intervals varry.
So i would say if you dont like one, you wont like the other any better
I really used to like Tapatalk until the recent up change and am on the lookout for a suitable replacement as well
