I'm currently on my guilds vent server using the headphones that came with my nexus one (built in mic) and they work perfectly.
btw the audio controls (fwd/pause/rwd) work too lol!
Since I knew nothing of Ventriloid before this... thank you. This rocks
I knew that stuff like this was out there, but now I have a pretty good use for it and I love that these headphones have complete control in the OS.

Has anyone tried to play World of Warcraft with a High-End Android phone with Ubuntu?.
I mean like open it with Wine, or other app that can emulate Windows. I don't have any android phone, that's why I'm asking, it should be really interesting if it can be played.
But now, is logic that it should run because when you install Ubuntu is using the existing Drivers to work on the phone (That's my concept).
Let's see yours.
Thanks and God bless you all.
I used to be a wow player, and it suck the life out of me thus i quit it, it took me like 6 yrs. rofl. but is this possible playing wow on a mobile? i'm pretty new to android phone.

Well, WoW does not sucks life, you'rr the only one who sucks your own life (humans...). People must learn autocontrol of something before do it.
Going back to the principal topic. I just got my Atrix 4 days ago, will give a try using Ubuntu plus Wine.

My suggestion would be to try and walk North, unaided, from Lapland to the North Pole..wearing only a Bermuda shirt and a pair of surfing shorts, whilst simultaneously sipping on a Margarita.
You won't get very far, and the journey will be torturous, but at least you will die before the attempt becomes too humiliating.

Anyway, anybody that dies in an attempt at playing an MMO deserves a Darwin Award at the very least!

They deserve more than that!. I find it stupid to die playing a game, it just doesn't fit in my head, but anways #Humans...
BTW.
I'm downloading an Ubuntu IMG right now to test it out
Wine ARM
Here is finally how to make World of Warcraft works on any Android device, well not only WoW, any App or Game.
Wine for ARM (Ubuntu): http://maemo.org/packages/package_instance/view/fremantle_extras-devel_free_armel/wine/1.3.34/
Here is the Ubunutu I used: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405454
Test by your own! Your device could get burnt like almost mine did (Had to take battery out).
What do you guys think are the best headsets.

I have a kicker set that I got for $50 and they are awesome...and come with a replaceable cord.
i was gona make this thread but i did tons of research and it all depends on how much you want to spend and what you want them for read reviews and even try some out if you have the chance. reviews are always 50/50 they still help though because someone elses con may be a pro to you or the other way around. one other thing i learned about headphones is that they make some that are open so check into that. closed is the route i will take when i buy mine in a couple weeks

I actually didn't think they were that bad. Tilt controls are terrible though, so unresponsive. But the default ones work fine for me. Not my preferred though. Hopefully they keep it updated and improve it.
I want the in dash display which was introduced when the game got 3D accelerator support, sadly, this is missing it.

personal preference but that THING looks really ugly. :cyclops:
Oh yeah but this is a useful thing in some occasions and cheap lol
that thing is funny.
I don't know how the sound compares, but cheap trick you can try is put the GN2 is a cup. One time my Big Jam Box was dead, and did the cup trick. The only cup I found around that could fit the GN2 was a measuring cup. It amplified the sound well enough for the moment.
Here's one. Seems too expensive, though.

Hey all!
I'd like this to be a place where we can share our soundclouds and .flp (Fruityloops) projects, discuss music, and share tips about how we can potentially improve our music.
I'll start!

If you guys would like the flp of my latest couple songs, Id have no problem sharing them. :highfive:
Awesome idea for a thread. I've used FL on PC a lot before now but not had much of a play on my tablet. I keep meaning to sit down and spend some time on it.
When I do.... I'll be back.

I haven't had the chance to use it on a tablet. It would feel almost awkward to, hahah. Plus performance would be super hindered

Obviously it depends on the tablet, but I've got it on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (first version) and it runs perfectly. I imagine it would labour a bit if I had lots of tracks and realtime effects running, but it played all the demo tracks without any lag or stutter. Obviously if it did get slow then I'd just have to render every time I wanted to hear it in full without lag.
I reckon it would run on most up-to-date tablets with no problem at all. A nexus 7, for example, should have no problem.
Are you using it on your phone then, or just on PC?

Will do - thanks.
I don't think I've ever used FL to make a complete tune before now. I use Acid by Sony to layer loops and samples, but I make bass lines and some synth parts in FL.
Here's my soundcloud, which does include FL work, but lots of other stuff too...

@Archer ill return the favor and follow you!
All the music I make, from drumbeats to the rhythm, and the synth is all done by me. From my head to the keyboard. No loops, ever.

When I use loops they're all my own stuff. I work primarily loops based but make them using synth, guitar or FL. I did start off using loops I'd downloaded when I was learning to use Acid, but quickly started recording my own.
