- In Accessori folder between Calcolatrice and Orologio, there is an icon with a green upward arrow, that has Chinese text and the whoole app itself is in Chinese. Maybe could it be the ROM upgrade you told before? Because I tried to download MIUI ROM Dowloader from the Market and it says that Crespo is not supported.
- MIUI widget is in Chinese.
- There is an application that seems to be a market app whose icon is made by four colors (green, blue, orange and pink) that is in Chinese.
- The keyboard has the button with "Done" instea of "Fatto"
Different issues from the translation are:
- If you open an email "Archivia" text in portrait mode doesn't fit the button.
-The active top bar has texts that don't fit the space, like Rotazione, Luminosità, Vibrazione.
- Market isn't able to download over 3G connection but only through WiFi. I checked that 3G connection and it's ok since I can browse internet. [SOLVED]
Generally there seems to be a problem of fitting related to the texts translation that very often are not sized to fit in their space.

Go into the Downloads app, settings, and set it to 3G & WiFi to enable 3G Market Downloads

Here is an application that seems to be a market app whose icon is made by four colors (green, blue, orange and pink) that is in Chinese: this is appshare and it's only for China, you delete it.
There is an icon with a green upward arrow, that has Chinese text and the whoole app itself is in Chinese: this is Updater and you delete it.
This, however, is the first version miui for Nexus S and has many bugs

FEATURES:
I thought to design this ROM for those who need a stable, fast, optimized, customizable and elegant ROM.
A ROM reference especially for those who don't want to change ROM every 2 days or for thos who always want a stable ROM in their SD card in case of need!
This ROM is one of a set of ROMS who come out only when there is an LG official update. The word FR indicates that is based on FROYO. When will come the official ROM based on gingerbread, the ROMS will take the name FLAIR GR.

STABLE:
The rom is based on official 10d version released by LG few days ago.
I have not changed the kernel or libraries or whatever to ensure maximum stability and efficiency.
FAST AND OPTIMIZED:
Added ROOT permissions (superuser and busybox)
Removed some unnecessary applications (such as antivirus) that take a lot of memory.
Added several optimizing scripts and "Zipalign" all apk involved!

- the dialler bottom isnt fully filled. I think that all the area need to be black
- The separator bar for sections on dialler are conflicting with selected option
- The title of mms.apk is too close of the border
- the "drag to unlock" text its interfering with lockscreen layout
- the letter title background on contacts app its ugly
System report:
- At my 990h-v10c i got the automatic update to the newest Android Market, on your 10d i cant get it
I think that rom has potential to be 100% pretty and functional. Great work.

Have you read the news lately ? I would say it's definetly nececerly to have some security on your phone, there is a lot of malware on the internet
Android will be a big target for malware developers etc...
Just choose one of the security apps out of the Market.
I am using Mcaffee Wavesecure for years now.

This is the first post that gives you miui rom based on the work of our great Dev - JasonStein. I'v used his tool and these are the results..
Avicho MIUI ROM
This is the most updated Miui Rom - 2.3.23 including the English, chinese, Hebrew(Full UI Translate, RTL support and Hebrew T9 dialer) Languages.
Enjoy.. and remember I'm not a developer...
Use doom's miui kernel or blendmiui kernel(my favorite..)
This Miui Rom needs baseband 56 to run - If you don't have this Baseband

Install instructions:
1. Put the rom zip file in your sd card
2. Make sure you have the desired kernel - doom's miui kernel or blendmiui v09(my favorite) kernel. if not flash it using fastboot.
3. Recomended - wipe data factory and cache, especially if u come from other rom (like stock or cm7), if not it's not so important
4. Flash the rom using the cwm recovery.
5. Reset and enjoy.

Hello, thank you for your ROM update. Just FYI, MIUI extended settings (the version for 1.11.25) is not working with your version. Something you removed or added to this ROM broke the update. But everything else seems to be working fine.

I found a solution to this problem - download the attached files and put them on your sd card. the file named "Signed_NoOverscroll.v1" flash through the recovery but before you flash this file mount the "/data" and the "/system" through the cwm recovery 'mount' menu (it's easy). after the mount thing flash the file and reboot.
Then go to file manager program (like es file explorer) and then install the MIUIsettings.apk file(check before that you can install file from unknown sources in the aplications settings). After this easy operations u will enjoy the "miui control" app.
Anyway, I'm here to help.

In the second post it says the poster is uploading the rom for you. You can't down load from the Chinese page unless you register and set up an account.

the link behind "ZIP刷机包下载:" is the download link like multiupload,
but it needs an account due to large size,
perhaps need to wait for someone (or me 21hours left ) to finish download and re-seed

What do you mean? Read the first thread this ROM has Gapp built-in. Just login to your Google account and your contact will be sync automatically.

that's the problem - it doesn't synchronize.
and there is no option to import contacts from google account. only from sim and sd.

did u follow instruction in first post? do a full wipe before flashing this.
1.- Wipe data/reset factory
2.- Wipe cache
3.- Advanced -> wipe dalvik
4.- Install the ROM
or check in Settings > Accounts & sync > your account > and check if Sync Contacts is tick.

Some chinese characters still in Setting.apk -> res -> values -> strings. I didnt have any plan (using prepaid) so that setting is pretty much useless for me but i have changed the strings just for the sake of consistency. apk attached just in case anyone want it.
slider for answering call is not correct (i assume the files doesnt get resized correctly from framework-res.apk -> drawable-hdpi.. i have replace the files taken from cm7, lets see if it is working (waiting for a call to see it)
i can confirm the sync works correctly.
Edit: MIME code cannot be run, *124# will make the phone to call 124 instead for example. Any workaround?

This is a great ROM and port for the Legend that I'm looking forward to using on a daily basis. Here are some things I've noticed from using this ROM:
-Pressing Superuser under System tab in Settings causes force close
-In Notification Setting under System tab in Settings everything is in Chinese
-Hold on default clock then press edit then choose more skins, everything's in Chinese
-Flash light toggle in notification bar doesnt work

You probably have not reboot after installing deodex.

There is an infinite loop when you go first phone application and click contact over there, and press back to go home, it goes over and over. Just keep to press back ..Can cover these ?

There is an alarm fix done, but now it brakes the status bar. The best idea is to donwoload alarm from the Google play.
About loop, I don't quieet know how to fix that, so just use the Home button to get out.

Wrong Instructions
The deodexed file xxlk2 or whatever it is should work only on xxlk2 frimwares and not the others ! That's why everybody brick his device.
You mustn't share ROMs if it isn't your work ! Its author's right to do that , even you get the permission !!

The deodexed file xxlk2 or whatever it is should work only on xxlk2 frimwares and not the others ! That's why everybody brick his device.
You mustn't share ROMs if it isn't your work ! Its author's right to do that , even you get the permission !!

Author gave me the permiision, and he does not know english. About deodexed file, since you are doing -format /system it should not be a problem.
3 days usage, that's a good rom. I haven't tested if games (Jetpack Joyride, Fruit Ninja etc..) is working. I'll try that, thanks bro!.

Does phone dialler and contact app is force close on this Andromeda ROM ?But i know alarm on this rom is many time force close like JellyBlast V3.0.4 on s5830i :laugh:
