Anyone got any ideas please tell me
Hi.
You can't use Odin to install the market.
Odin can only inject rom / kernel / modem -- not the apps.
If you have a SD card in your phone then computer-side you should have two drives mounted in "my computer". One for internal SD, one for external SD (your real and physical micro-sd card).
Your pictures are on the "internal SD card", /DCIM/camera/
Well I'm not sure about this but you should go to the developement section and then to the cyanogen mod thread. There you should find a link to a download saying "Gapps". You should flash this in CWM. Now I'm not sure about this as it may only work on cyanogen.
Another thing you coild do is install a fresh stock rom or a custom rom.
Hope this helped.

or download sgs tools apply market fix.
or search google for vending.apk (i think thats the market)
guys i had bricked my captivate & it wasn't even turning on. so i tried using USB jig to go into download mode & i was able to flash hadcore speedmod captivate which i got from cyanogenmod site & now clockworkmod is opening. i tried flashing a ROM but i wasn't able to as i can't transfer the rom to the internal memory & the clockwork doesn't read it from the microSD card.
so guys what should i do now???
also guys can you suggest me a good ROM which i should try first.
Put Rom on pc, In cwm go to mounts and storage and mount usb mass storage, copy ROM to internal SD and flash away

thanks!!
but looks like i got a bad luck. i was able to flash it but after booting it keeps on going to CWM!!
i also tried Odin3 One-Click Downloader but that didn't also work(it didn't go pass the analysis!!!)
I think the internal SD card of my i9000 is corrupted. I've tried everyting: wiped/factory reset, reinstalling Cyanogenmod10, installing Stock ROM, installing stockrom with re-partitioning on etc. Nothing works. I'm using odin to reinstall the stock ROM. Flashing the stock ROM to my phone goes well, but then when I restart and android is installing, I get error messages like:
/can't mount sd card
After reading a lot on XDA, my conclusion is: broken internal storage.
Now I want to install everything on my external SD. So I bought a 8GB cat10 SD card.
Found this XDA-post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1893354 Seems very promising, but I seem to get stuck on '-- Extract initramfs from zImage ( https://github.com/mistadman/Extract-Kernel-Initramfs )'. I;ve got a virtual machine running Ubuntu. When I start the script, nothing happens..... the terminal just closes.
The easiest solution for my problem would be a ROM that is altered to directly install on my external SD. I red somewhere that ROMS like that exist. Can't seem to find one though.
Well.. thanks for reading my post, and accept my appologies for my bad english. You can probably notice I'm not a native speaker.
Does someone have a solution for me? Maybe know of a good thread?
Thanks in advance!

also formatted my internal sd through adb...doesnt help either
You need to search for a data/data file that you can flash in Odin that will fix your internal SD card. I had same problem. My Android soultions helped me. Try searching for that also

Tried that already... didn't work. That method only works if your sd card is totally dead. The phone then automaticly switches to the external sd
My isn't totally dead..

Install stock rom JVU in ODIN, then flash this kernel
How do I have to flash? With repartitioning checked or unchecked?
Do I have tot restart and let android try to install after flashing? Or must I flash your kernel directly after flashing the rom...

first of all apologize for asking a question and not answer your question, when you were CM10 and came back to a stock rom had to do some special way or just did you use odin? in my case I had installed CM 10 and accidentally format the internal sd through cwm now my cel just go to recovery and download mode.
excuse my English, English is not my native language, I use a translator
Thank you rxxxni, flashing the sdcard fix worked. My internal sd card had been stuck in read only mode and it took more than a week to find a fix.

This works for my SGS I test almost everything but the internal sd always returned all the data even before a wipe format re-partition noting work to delete the internal sd, wit this kernel the phone will create 2 partitions 1 fat and 2 ext4 wit the same size of the internal sd 1.89GB.
I will like to install a new version for 4.0 or 4.1 but dont know how to change this kernel to work wit another 2.3.6 like jw4 or jw9
if anyone know pleas let mi know
Thanks rxxxni.:good:
Hello friends! Today I did something really dumb on my i9000. I was about to flash a new rom and formatted the sd card.. Of course the files of the rom i was about to flash are gone and now when i try to mount usb storage to transfer the files again my computer doesn't recognize the phone.
The drivers were working before all this happened so i don't know how to fix this. I'm running devil touch recovery v6.0.2.7.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks for your help.
2 things you can do one is to use a program called recuva by pirifrom (Google it and Google a how to) to get the data back off the SD card assumming u have not over written it and u have a sdcard to USB converter.
The other is to uninstall the drivers from PC and install them from fresh there should be guilds here someware

Bought a bricked gt-i9000M off a guy for 10 bucks just to mess around with and see if I could get working.
Ended up getting it running by flashing stock firmware UGKC1 and speed mod kernel. My problem at the moment is that my external SD card won't mount my internal SD also registers as 0.0b available and under phone storage it reports 0.0 as well. I tried to flash UGKG3 before C1 but it would just bootloop. Something tells me its not the firmware. I tried a few repartition options with then pit files for Odin but I could of been doing something wrong I'm fairly new to Odin.
Anyone else run into this problem or know what the solution might be?
My PC recognizes then device and non problems with adb.
This could be hardware issue of the phone. Have you checked aviability of internal sdcard on pc?
