How can we get the fancy rotation animation like(spare parts not work, only in 1.5 version) on the iphone or wp7?
I hate when the screen rotates without no animation...
Some developers pls help us...we have fast roms...great themes, we have miui but we don't have a nice animation? I love my desire hd...I love android but it would be nice that the software to be more polished and smoth.
I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it!
+1 would be a nice feature
same here
looking for this ever since, hope google will provide one , somewhen, somehow ....
Google has actually added that animation in Honeycomb. So don't be surprised to see it in the next major version of Android for smartphones (Ice Cream).

I for one, would like to see the xperia 10's andoid version because it looks really cool, and something different. Or sense(Not expresso, looks like its trying to be a iPhone).
What about you guys?
xperia x10
I'ld really like to have only the timescape and mediascape on 2.1
Working espresso would be nice... I mostly just wanna see full Cyanogen goodness. JAC's CyanogenMod-based Eclair xROM for Dream is amazing... I'd love to have a 2.1 CyanogenMod/xROM. But seriously, I'd love to play with Espresso, especially if they get everything working. It'd be blazin' fast on the Nexus.
Windows Mobile.
Wait, wut?
CyanogenMod.
Would love to see hero running on this bad boy, I came from the G1 and it didn't run very good on it.

Second that. The multimedia features look crazy good. If they could just take that aspect and maybe Sense, then it would be a great ROM imo.
X10 or just plain Android. Whatever runs fastest and smoothest is good for me for every day stuff.
Something with more multitouch
Mediascape and Timescape do look good.
I've just watched some demos on Yuotube, but it's got to be said the Xperia 10 is VERY choppy........
I would like Exchange working *including calendar* without paying $20 for Touchdown or having to root my wifes phone.

I use the MotoCal calendar from Droid, combined with the Android Agenda Widget from the Market. Works flawlessly for me.
I would like SenseHERO ROM to be ported to the N1, but I also want to keep the N1's native new features - such as the Live Wallpapers.
I dont really dig any of the skinned android ui's, however it would be great to have a vanilla 2.1 rom that incorporated some of the MotoBlur stuff without having the complete Blur UI. In particular Im thinking the FB widget, and Blur numerical lock screen.
Extra points if the rom can also incorp the Sense mail widget. Dont know if its possible to mesh the two frameworks, but I can dream...
this might sound wierd bout i would like too see donut on my n1 so i can theme it
I just want the original 2.0 lockscreen with the arc. It looked a lot better IMO then the newer one does. Also the nexus is theme-able in it current state, just can't do anything with services.jar yet (so no white text in status bar).
As the Nexus One has almost identical specifications and hardware as the HTC Touch HD2 (besides the screen, and non N capable wireless?)
Does that mean we can hope for some Android love to the HD2?
If that so I would get the HD2 over Nexus simply because I find it superior, eventhough it lacks a AMOLED screen.
Id love to see SE's Nexus UX ported over. Im sure with the 512mb ram that the N1 has will make the UI silky smooth.
On another note, I just cant seem to understand why Google decided on a white notification bar. It boggles my mind, esp considering that most people get black phones. They really need to add a built in Metamorph for changing between a white and black theme...
Hey guys found this over at android spin. I think it looks pretty damn cool. I just wonder how piratical it will be for day to day use. I mean we can always use more software to complicate our UI.

Whoa! I'm excited for this, if the implementation turns out as smoothly as it looks.
It's like Sense: The Sequel.

you mean Sense's ugly cousin. Sense all day everyday! brings out the color in my screen
Of course in taking closer looks it's important to separate WOO SHINY EYECANDY from... actually useful.
E.G. will this make my device better, or just get in the way?
In terms of that it's hit and miss. But I do like, for instance, the means of setting the alarm clock (why go into a different screen? This solution seems quick and intuitive), and the 'folding' UI elements - such as the SMS widget, etc. If you don't need them, they fold out of the way. One problem I had with Sense is that most every widget commands the full screen, not leaving me space for much else, regardless of whether or not I'm using the widget at the time.
The widget 'fan' is interesting but I think I prefer the typical 'card' view. The ability to easily drag widgets and shortcuts directly to specific screens is certainly a time saver.
I'm curious to see where this will go in its final iteration -- much like concept cars, everything looks shiny and pretty, but the final product ends up stripping out a lot of the shiny pretty eyecandy in lieu of more practical, intuitive fare.
Good UI design, after all, should be transparent.
ide take this "ugly cousin" over sense any day
+1 Sense is to bulky and doesn't fare well for everyday use. The screens taken for the video were taken fron a MT3G so hopefully we will see that level of smoothness from 1st gen android devices TAT Home is just one of a ton a exciting new things that came out at MWC, cant wait for the beta to drop.
Here is some stuff from an email reply I got from TAT.
We are currently in alfa and expect to reach beta in a couple of weeks.
After that, we will slowly but surely start to roll out the preview to some of the 17,000 people who've signed up so far,
starting with specific Android versions and screen resolutions as we won't target all of them in the first version.
If your are lucky and make it to the list of testers, you'll hear from us in a month or so
I don't remember what forum it was but someone also posted an email reply and they stated that the Nexus1 screen res is supported at start. I also think the G1 should be gtg because it looks like a HTC Hero in the vid.
Hi, I am new here and I think that the progress you have made is truly astounding however, I was wondering whether in later releases, perhaps if it becomes more stable, if you will ever add live wallpaper support. this would be an excellent feature to include in a final release. Just wanted to know...

I can allready use live wallpapers, but there is no 3d rendering so it is SUPER slow..
When good rendering is possible, we get nice live wallpapers
I knew it would be slow, but thanks for the reply.
and how do you do it (I wanna design a real simple one). Whenever I install one, it doesn't give me the option to put in Live Wallpaper.
IDK but it would be cool if it was fast/faster.
It is build in my android rom.. I'm using the one from LENINred with HTC Sense
hey guys i have designed the lcars interface for samsung galaxy s line i am always open to ideas i use sweeterhome2 beta and focus on functionality aswell as looks
google sweeterhomes 2 choose themes and look up cybertuan
for the few i did make im in the process of creating some really cool stuff so stayed tuned
those who are interested in having personalized themes doesn't matter what kind pm me let me know what you want and if you like my work donate
and remember be kind and rewind
I know many people like Smoked Glass...well I do
my themes can completely alter the ui including a app drawer of custom design the onlything it does not alter is the status bar and widgets are fixed its pretty much you design it thats the way it will be
I'll find sweeter home 2 attractive when it doesn't lag so bad. Seriously, if a 1ghz phone can't push it worth a crap, what can? It lags, it's choppy, etc. It makes no sense that the only smooth motion is the 1 big modification. The vertical screens move smoothly. Horizontal, forget it.
Hi guys,
I owned Xperia S and I really loved the Cosmic Flow wallpaper.
I modded it so that it can work in the latest android version.
It's working fine on my Galaxy note 10+
I haven't tested it in android 11 though.
Enjoy.
Note:
- The screen may come black after selecting the wallpaper for the first time. Just select another color from settings or restart the launcher.
- In the case of OneUI launcher, the wave doesn't respond to touches and swipe. That is an OneUI problem. The wave should respond to taps/swipes in other launchers.
Apk file.
Sir, I don't know how much Thanks I should give to u, I've been searching this live wallpaper for Android 7+ for about 6 months and then finally I got this!!! Thank you so so much for ported this sir. We really appreciate you. Lots of love and respect
Wow, this is great! Too bad I am getting a black screen when selecting this wallpaper on my Xperia XZ2 on Android 10, but hey seeing this live wallpaper getting some attention is great. Good job.
Edit: Restarted my launcher and the wave started working there! My favourite wallpaper is back! I've been waiting for years for this! Thank you so much.

Ohh yes, I should've mentioned that. It may show a black screen on the first try. Just, change the color in settings or restart the launcher.
I am glad you guys liked it!
Man, you did a great job. ??
Btw...
Do you plan on including other colors as well? I remember there was a modded .apk floating around that included more colors like bright red, hot pink etc.
Thanks a lot! Right now I don't have plan to add colors. But if you could point me to the modded APK with extra colors, I can try to port it for latest Android versions.

I've read somewhere in reddit that Samsung is going to fix it in OneUI 2.5.
Hey @pmsdhawale while you're here, you seem to have had great success porting/modding this for our devices, I'm wondering if you're able to do the same with this one?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1787350
The OP of the thread hasn't been active in a year so I don't think there's much hope of him being able to do it.
Might be a long shot but just thought I'd ask, thanks!
Really appreciate your effort in porting this. Thanks very much.
work on android 11 device pixel 3a
Can you port this also?
