I recently bought a Galaxy Tab and decide to use it as phone + tablet
Is there any app or way to make nexus one as a Bluetooth headset so I can put the tab into my backpack but use the n1 to control tab's music player n make calls via the tab?
I believe you'll be much better served by a BT headset. Not even mentioning the much smaller size

should be doable, but it depends on the app that accesses the heart-rate monitor as what type of device it's being addressed.
I know, because I use a BackBeat 903 headset for "phone" connection and a Motorola T505 for "Audio" connection, which pipes my music from my N1 into my car stereo via FM. When a call comes in, the Music stops/pauses and the N1 switches the call into my BT headset. After the call is done, the music continues via the T505/car-stereo.
According to bluetooth specs (if i recall right) Bluetooth can handle 7 devices at once/parallel connected
Thanks for the reply...
I would like to mount a galaxy tab car dock to my dash, route the audio connections to the back of my stereo and be able to make calls though my car speakers and column mounted mic.
so if a call came in on my phone it would display on the galaxy tab. similarly i could make calls on the tablet via bluetoothed phone in my pocket.
internet over bluetooth would be cool too as I could just leave bluetooth enabled on my phone and when i hopped in the car the tablet would magically have internets. I know mobile ap would work but you can't just walk around with wifi hotspot enabled.
i'm probably going to wait for the samsung galaxy tab 8.9
does an application exist to do this?
another thing i was thinking about was if their are any decent car hud apps. like music player, speedo, phone, gps, torque(would be awesome) all in one app for easy use whilst driving? There are some pretty cool torque extensions that almost do what i'm talking about.
maybe this is a dumb question but i just got my tab and i itend to used it as a phone but is does not have an internal speaker like the regular phone just 2 speakeres at the bottom of the phone.
my tab is a t-mobile converted to GT-P1000 is this correct?or the regulars GT-P1000s have the internal speaker?
No the regular P1000 also has external speakers like a spiderphone. You need to use the wired headphones or get a bluetooth headset.
The Samsung-provided headphones work for me.
I'm currently using Nokia bh-505 as my bluetooth headset, together with ipod touch 4g (music player) and my note. however as bh505 only has limited multipoint, i can only connect my headset to note thru phone audio only (the ipod connects thru media audio, and it won't connect when i connect also my note to media audio).
i installed safereader but it seems to use media audio of my note in reading incoming messages; thus, when both my ipod and note are connected, vlingo safereader reads thru my loudspeaker instead. I want it to read it thru bluetooth headset since I sometimes put my note inside my backpack.
Is there a way so that vlingo safereader will read messages thru my headset other than using my note as my music player (i'd rather use its battery for other activities)?
P.S. GSMArena lists NFC support (optional) as a feature of galaxy note. Does the international version of note really include it or is it limited only to the at&t and korean version? thanks
Hey guys. After 2 months of buying my SIII mini my headset doesnt work anymore. I mean it still plays music etc, but the whole remote control (including mic) does not work. I was handling it really gently and now I am really disappointed of quality.. can I get a good substitute? or only original ones from samsung can work? or maybe i should try to repair them?
