I make p990's KDZ check system in my website.
you can use it. it can check 2.2~4.0

testbuild 30A is deleted today from lg test servers
Means official version will be uploaded soon....hope they upload for p990 also...

It depends how you see it
ICS are released by LG to LG Optimus 2X
But, there's two versions of O2X, the southkorean SU660 and the worldwide P990
It's the SU660 that got official ICS, the rest of the world are still waiting for the P990 build.

any hardware or software issues? many says all the issues will be solved after updating to ICS
from hardware i don't think there is big difference, both have chipset nvidia tegra 2. the difference in software, i don't know what is the suitable ROM for SU660 because it's different from optimus 2x international version.
the software update SU660 is faster than optimus 2x don't know why, maybe LG decide to prioritize Korean people i guess. but optimus 2x has many ROMS beside stock, CM7 for the example, or you can use flash stock zip rom with CWM which already tweaked. and you can flash another kernel, like mine using CM7 and symbiosis kernel (the kernel already discontinued due to the author leave xda). or you can flash CM10 but still bugs on it.

I know it is for ku5900 but still I hope it works on p970.

The links provides V30J for P970 or KU550 (whatever the korean one) ?
i have tried flashing v30j but it fails...
so i think it is not for P970...
