Since I got my HTC desire HD from someone selling their T-mobile upgrade (I'm on O2), I've been using Android Revolution HD ROM with a full wipe before each flash, but the splash screen is still the T-mobile logo, dose the full wipe not clear everything out of the phone? I presume the splash screen lives in the phone and not on the SD card.
I'm sure Mike1986 ROM is based on the stock HTC release so would have the HTC logo splash screen.
You need to flash the splash screen from fastboot. Check the splash image thread in this forum. It will direct you and has some splash screens for download.

Hello everyone,
I bought a blackstone.
I have a problem with Splash screen..
My Blackstone loads 4 splash screen:
1. Smart Mobility (non animated)
2. China Mobile - DOPOD (animated)
3. HTC Logo (animated with sound)
3. WinMo logo
if you wish you can watch splash process from my video http://www.4shared.com/file/171299331/c90e702/CIMG0103.html
My problem is to be unable to remove or change 2.nd China Mobile DOPOD picture?
How can I do this?
Methods I have tried:
1. Hard Reset
2. Flashing many ROMs including Official ones
3. Flashing HardSPL
4. Flashing my own SPlash.nbh
Thanks in advance.

splash screen 2:
I think you have flashed a rom with custom boot splash screen, so if you flash to a different ROM that does not include one, you will still see the screen during boot up. Go to this thread for instructions on changing your initial (boot) splash screen.
splash screen 3:
simply chose one gif file rename it to animated.gif and after that copy to windows folder
splash screen 4:
same as 3 only this is another file welcomehead.192
I have read whole of the thread you advised, but they are about flashing/changing the 1st splash screen. But I can change 1.st splash screen anyway..
My problem is not to be able to change 2nd splash screen..
If you watch the video

I want to change screen of China Mobile DOPOD screen..
is there any idea for 2.nd splash screen in video?
Solved,
Step by step:
1. generated Splash.nb
2. in htc rom tool, devices.ini (or other that contains device configurations) file, I replaced 0x600 to 0x601 to change second splash screen..
3. generated nbh, flashed nbh

thanks cmonex..

I have the same problem with the Dopod splash screen, but I didnt understand what you actually did to fix it (I am new at this). Could you maybe upload a the file that you used to change the splash screen? Thanks.
I am not a newbie at flashing phones. I unlocked my t- mobile htc one boot loader rooted the device and loaded clockwork classic recovery and :crying:a customer Rom but it never boot pass the splash screen. can someone please guide me through flashing back the stock Rom. I am desperate
I've looked for a way to change the splash screen on my phone, but all methods I've found only involve another phone, how do I make a custom splash screen on this phone?
The splash screen, by the way, is the thing that says "Samsung GALAXY Exhibit 4G" on startup.
From my understanding, on this phone, the splash screen is located in the kernel. So the only way to change it is by compiling a new kernel with the splash of choice. I wish it was still as easy as flashing through fastboot.

I tried loading in Elementalx custom rom in, but it took my HTC ONE to a blank screen. I then relocked the phone, and couldn't do anything with it. I re-unlocked my HTC ONE M7, but phone still goes to blank screen. Computer recognizes phone, and phone sounds like it starts, because it makes all the sounds when you turn the phone on. I unlocked the phone, and rooted it. I loaded the recovery in, and put in Update Superuser 2.0, and still get blank screen. Can anyone help as to why it has gone to blank screen, and can I reload original stock and from where.
Flash kernel again or different kernel
from HTC One
Had a similar issue, if you're rooted and have custom recovery installed then just flash a custom ROM (I recommend ARHD), should fix it, after the phone up and running again go back to recovery and try to flash the kernel.
