I updated tapatalk this morning and every time I try to click on any of the Xoom fora I get a force close. Anyone else having this problem? Restarting didn't help :-(

Hade also problem to enter xoom fora thats i have under favorites and this worked for me.
Remove it from your favorites and add it to favorites again and it will work again.
Remove and add again worked for me.... thanks

Must be something wrong whit the latest update, the problem is back for me now, can't enter the XOOM fora when i have it set to favorit
It seems like the update just now fixed it. And as you all said you will have to remove the stored favorite and add it again. Thanks devs for updating so quickly!

It fc'd on me until I uninstalled & reinstalled. Working fine now.

There have been several updates recently for Tapatalk and I really appreciate the developers' efforts. However, my favorites always show up with no sub-topics and only after adding the main forum as favorite again I can see them. After a while they then disappear again is anyone else having this issue? Maybe uninstall and aa new installation will help?

When I installed I to had the blanks. Ask I did was clear the app cache. All better now.

Wish it did for me. I've tried several times across several builds. If I click on a thread, it dies.

I can't seem to find a thread detailing how to do this..
Doesn't it just come with the tiny gapps that you're supposed to flash alongside cm?
Or is there a newer market that I am unaware about?
The one that comes with cm7 rc1 nightly 3 is 2.2.11
It happens by itself.
Since installing cm7 the normal marketplace doesn't work

This.
There seem to be a lot of small screwy things related to the google applications on Gingerbread-based ROMs. Best shot for getting everything working correctly is to do a full wipe and reflash. I know I had to do that to get GTalk working.
What about the not so easy answer?

Let me know if you figure one out. I spent about two weeks trying all sorts of off-the-wall stuff to get around having to wipe to get GTalk to work. As soon as I wiped (as I should have in the first place) it worked without a hitch.
It should auto update, at least for me it did.
If not go here

I flashed CM7 RC1 and I automatically got updated to 2.3.2.
Just give it time. It'll happen. Market updates by itself without user intervention.

suggests to me that it will not auto-update in the OP's case.
It seems to be half working now but I can't look ay my downloaded apps list without it crashing. All other apps are fine

Have you tried clearing the Market app's cache and data?
Clear Market data in "system / applications / manage".
[edit] I see codesplice already gave you the correct answer
No joy. I'll go for the wipe later on

Oh awesome, I'm not the only one.
Seems to be stuck on march 3/4th for me.
EDIT:Also, this may get a bit more support exposure if it were in the Q&A section
SOLVED.... (for me at least)
OK - i think i got it sorted
removed the widget from homescreen
then went into manage applications - cleared cache and data - did a force stop and exited menu
Went back to my apps and opened facebook - re-signed in and placed widget on homescreen and it was updated to todays posts
it has held onto todays posts all day so im hoping im good to go
somebody else try this and see how you get on ....
thanks to mods for putting this in right subforum
Edit: well it lasted all day but doesnt do it im afraid - its now synced to 6th March (was 3rd)

Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
3.1.5 s just as bad. I want 1.0.28, it at least works.
Sent from my Xoom using xda premium
Try the next fix:
1. Change your locale to English (United States)
2. Clear market data and cache.
3. Run market.
4. Change the locale back to the original one.
It solved my problems with the new market on my phone (SGS on CM7), should work for you as well.
3.1.5 is broken. 3.1.6 is the new one. It is ok, but all apps don't show up and it still fc's. 1.0.28 is the old xoom market.

mine did that after 4g upgrade and subsequent app reinstall... eventually figured out there was some conflict between upgraded xoom/radio/os and the printershare app... determined that by factory-resetting back to scratch (where market and my apps worked perfectly) and reloading apps 1 by 1. Ptintershare broke it for me, so uninstalled and all was well... figured I'd just need to wait for a post-upgrade printershare update.

If you have the app "Documents to go" installed just clear the data from that and uninstall it. It will make the market work again.

OK, thanks.
I guess I have to try a hard reset then or wait for an update.
I get a lot of FC in the stock browser also. Generally I'm not satisfied with the stability of this tab so far.
Sent from my LG-P990 using Tapatalk
what device and what ROM? no problems here...
Maybe you have a very old firmware on your device? Whats your build number?
It's all stock for now. I had the same problem on my phone also and could see lots of comments on the app in the market indicating the same problem.
Went on youtube on the pc and deleted a few subscriptions but it did not initially help.
Today however everything is fine both on the phone and the tab.
Guess I had some sort of corruption that got fixed.

Hi all,
My first post, and as of yesterday my first custom ROM. Despite some sweaty moments it worked fine thanks to the guidance on this forum and some leaps of faith Can't reply to the relevant thread directly since I'm n00b.
Was very happy with this, however one killer issue that's meant I've had to revert to stock is that Google Talk (installed via GApps link with the ROM) crashes to desktop (no FC dialog) when i attempt to use voice or video within it. Skype seems to work fine though. Anyone else experienced this? I haven't seen it previously reported on here which makes me think maybe I didn't clear something properly (I used cwm recovery 5.5.0.4 to wipe cache, factory reset and clear dalvik prior to flash). I tried repeating the entire upgrade twice from scratch but same issue is still apparent.
Thanks for the coolness and hopeful for some help and further development.

Hey.
You're not the only one. I have the same issue with Google Talk. I, like you, thought that I wasn't installing something right. I even went as far as using an outdated gapps package, namely 20120726, to no avail. If you've gotten help with this, please let me know. Otherwise, I have no idea what else to do. I don't want to revert to stock because, quite frankly, its terrible. Also, to anyone else reading this, any help would be appreciated.
Try uninstalling talk after you've flashed the Rom and then reinstalling it. Had a similar problem with Google search.

I just checked the tablet and i dont see an option for uninstalling the app. just force close and disable. I also checked the play store to try and download the app, but i dont see it in there. maybe i'm missing something? like i said before, any help would be appreciated.
I'm not familiar with Google talk, is it the same as voice. To uninstall you'll need tibu or something like that.
I did find talk to chat in the play store which maybe the same thing you're talking about

Hey, I just want to thank you for your response. Its been a big help. Unfortunately, google talk isn't the same as voice. Its the chat client that is found in gmail and stuff. They just have a separate app for it on android devices. I think i may just use skype to video chat since i can't seem to find a fix for this and I can't bring myself to go back to the stock rom. If anyone happens to find a fix or knows of one, please let us know. Thanks.
same problem here

gtalk doesn't work
My first ROM as well and facing the same problem with GTalk. Skype & Hangout on Google+ works fine. I was also wondering probably i missed a step.
But this ROM is so awesome don't want to restore. Other problems I am facing is that USB is not getting recognized on tablet and 3G not working. Any of you facing similar problem with 3G and USB?

As far as 3G, my tablet is the WiFi only, so I can't help you there.
With the usb, have you tried turning on the MTP setting? When you connect the tablet, go to settings>storage> and in the upper right hand side of the screen, if you press on the 3 dot things, you are going to see USB computer connection. press that and you will see the option to turn on MTP. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the replies, glad to know I'm not alone with g talk. Finally got stock ics ota but it's terrible! Prime example is Swype keyboard often appears the size of a credit card. Going back to cm as soon as talk fixed also had the USB issue but didn't try the workaround
