How to revmove the default Vodafone (UK) rom...?

Hi...i'v now had my touch pro 2 going about 4 months now and i'v really enjoed the phone
...but thanks to this website i'v discovered i can have my phone looking like a customized handset...
here's the problem...
i currently have ROM version: 1.14.161.6...
any time i try to upgrade the latest Energy ROM it ends up with a connection error...
i just bassically want to know what im doing wrong if anything...
please help............

Have you applied the Hard-SPL first?

odafone removal
Firstly flash the phone by Hardspl- ing it, this allows you to install non certified roms onto it
secondly download and install energyrom ensuring you hae a fully charged battery
works a breeze

How to install a rom on a htc touc diamond

Hi, I looked every where the last few days and I can't find any tutorial or website that can solve my problem. Does anybody know how to put a custom ROM in a normal phone ? any tutorial ?
I have a HTC Touch diamond on Telus network, it's a CDMA.

[Q] Can i Simply Flash a Rom From HTC Sence to my Samsung Galaxy Note

Hi Guys, I just wanna know that is it possible for me just to download a Rom from HTC Sence 3.5 and just flash it to my Samsung Galaxy Note, Have anyone tried that or will that work out something or will it brick the phone... Just wanna know... sorry if its sound stupid for guys who is well expirienced since i'm a newbie here... Thanks

defntly not.. everything is completely diff..kernel,ROM,etc,etc..
Try if you don't have a paper weight in your house..

Would you take a bios from a PC and flash that into a MAC and then expect OSX to work correctly?
No, of course not, because they are two different hardware platforms..just like each and every android phone is a completely different platform.
Look at all the hardware dependent items in this architecture....
My strong suggestion is to research, learn and understand about what you are doing before you actually do it..or you will be yet one more user with a low post count starting a thread entitled "Did i brick my phone..."

Dont give this kind of advice even as a joke. These are expensive "toys" and to assist someone in bricking a $600 - $700 piece of hardware is NOT very nice.
OP... As others have mentioned... There are MAJOR differences between Touchwiz and Sense, Samsung and HTC so no... DO NOT try this or you will brick your device.

Simplifying the question
ok i understand that HTC and Samsung are two different devices.
I have used samsung galaxy gio with ease and liked that very much.
1 ------- Currently i have htc please tell me can i put Samsung Galaxy gio ics 4 rom in htc explorer.
answer if no -- then can i at least use samsung keyboard some how on HTC explorer . i have its apk but it does not get installed.
2-------- Can i use HTC ICS 4 official rom to flash on HTC explorer ( with my little knowdge i assume platform is same ) will it work
and if i try and it dont work i can go back to restore original setting ( will it harm or damage device )
Please tell me.
Note that i have replace my Samsung gio with HTC explorer ( only beacuse of short Ram )

Well hello there I've recently got myself a LG OB and I would like to root for now and when there more custom Roms I want to flash them... plz show me such rooting tool before there's s few you use I don't know such one is right for me.
Ps I had a HTC magic and flashed it lots of times so I know about fastboot and adb, but LG is new ground for me.
How do you tell which brand is your LG and that you using the right files for...

This particular device doesn't use bootloader, read the thread "Nooby guide" for further asistance, link in 2nd post signature xD

[Q] rom question

my question is relating to the PACman primou rom. Is it compatible with one v? ive tried flashing it a couple times and always seem to get stuck at the loading screen that just says PACMAN. I belive the instructions i had were to flash the hellboy-42-201305202359.img kernel which only seems to make things work less.
help please?
i'm currently using CM9-KANGBANG v3.0
one more question, what do you think the best rom for the one v is so i can try it out??
