Anyone knows how to do screenshots with this mobile? Seems like LG have implemented some ****, so I'm not able to take screenshots :/

Likely it has to do with the fact that it's a Tegra chip.

My theory would have to be because ShootMe grabs the data from the framebuffer, the Tegra chip doesn't use the framebuffer for it's display, so the reason why it's getting the LG image is because it was the last piece of data that was put in the framebuffer before the tegra display driver was initialized.

Same problem with VNC applications. Shows the LG logo and a progress bar.

Where can i find the standard LG apps. I like some custom roms but i really liked the SNS widget (social feeds) and the LG keyboard (because of the tilt to side function)
Here is SNS.apk, the keyboard does not work on most of the custom roms.

Juz need to ask. I really like the SNS too but im juz assuming that it consumes battery more than standard twitter n fb 4android. Is my assumption true or not? Any opinion? Thanks!

That might be so. Just make sure the refresh rate is not at 15 mins. Mine is off, just refresh manually.

Even using standard fb or twitter i also set to manual refresh.. so i guess it shud be the same rite? I mean in term of battery consumption? Coz everytime i see 'running proccess' sns is there,thats why i assume it eat up juices.

form my experience, yes it does use a lot more power then FB/Twitters original apps/widgets

i've frozen SNS.apk with Titanium
i didnt install FB/Twitter, i just use the FB/Twitter widgets in LauncherProPlus
those take the least juice

I recommend mVideoPlayer or QQPlayer, both look pretty good and play every filetype

So anybody got any luck with the SNS.apk on any particular custom ROM(s)? If so can you please tell me which ROM(s)?
That app is very useful for me coz it can natively connect to FB or Twitter without the use of VPN and being in China, this is a big plus.

But the S Voice in S3 doesn't perform well compared with Siri
How do you mean? Mine works fine, weather,reminders,email,app launches,SMS,calling...

I have tried it in apk, but it fails to open after the configuration wizard. I will try again in the future, but I think there's some problem with the hardware control, since it's not a Samsung...

When i try to log in with my fake fb account it just says "Abuse blocked". Why the hell would anyone ever upload anything to a place like this?
LG is busy with Quick Voice, this is a look a like of Sire. But i'm not sure if the 4x HD gets it.

S voice needs the Touchwiz framework for that to work. Besides, Google Now is far superior than Svoice

You need Android 4.1.2 on GCam and Remote Viewfinder for GC out of the Play Store
Within your camera menu under share you have to enable remote viewfinder and then connect your android device to the cam via wlan and start the remote viewfinder.
And next time, please use the search function of the board.

Thank you for talking to me like a child re searching which I did however can I suggest you start to learn to reads people's threads properly before dishing out criticism
I am as stated not reffering to samsungs own app I know that inside out and have advised in various thread users on how to make it work
I am in fact referring to camera remote by busy www
I can not find the thread where it was mentioned despite searching from the mobile app but i do remember it only mentioned the app not how to use it hence my new thread
I don't think its compatible with the gc as it doesnt even connect on the website system

I got it to work a litte. I can't connect via Wi-Fi (but I think that's a NAT problem), I did get my Nexus 7 to connect via bluetooth and it sorta works for a while, but the app on the Camera dies as soon as I remotely take a picture.

I can get it to connect, even get a pic in the viewfinder on my phone, but there is a lot of FC's when I try to take an image.
I got it to work rigged up to my home WiFi if that's any help.

Yeah must be, I've just tried using my phone as the camera and my Tab 10.1 as the remote and it worked just fine.

As I mentioned in the other thread (I created yesterday), the unreleased beta of the app works much better with the GC.
He is adding video features to it right now and then will re-release it to the store I guess.
You install the same app on both devices and select camera or remote mode on the two devices. (or you use a web browser to control the camera device).
The thread was just a heads up that it has been fixed and will be re-released soon. It works quite well for me.
The author has not given me permission to post the beta here. Maybe send him an email and ask for the beta?
He was very friendly and helpful.

Help! I cant post pictures from the camera or from the gallery in my LG optimus black's instagram. I can still view the newsfeed and interact with it (like, comment, etc). I just have a problem with loading images from the camera or from the gallery.
I'm able to reach the crop photo page but when I get to page where you choose the filters and do the other edits, the image just wont show up. If you click on the next button after that page, it will just say processing and eventually crashes.
I have Lg optimus black rooted 4.0.
I've tried re-installing the app. I even did a factory reset.
I know it's not instagram's fault because instagram works fine on my bros samsung s4 and my sisters iphone 5.
