Question-
Im on Cyanogen Mod 7 and I am trying to use SetCpu.
I get a message in the beginning which states that "Could not read setcpu custom config. Reverting to defaults. Is your SD card unmounted from the PC?
I assume that this has to do with the EMMC/ SDCARD/SDCARD2 Mounting issue in Cyanogenmod? and is there a work around for it ?
Thank you!

Support for overclocking is in the kernel and there is currently no kernel for the Gtab that supports it.

I flashed FroyoMod v2.6.3 a couple of months ago and haven't got time to learn how to configure its mods to its full potential. Actually I even didn't know what app2ext really was until today. So the sd-ext folder on my phone is still empty at the moment. Now I want to upgrade FroyoMod to its latest version and utilize all its features.
First, I would like to format my SD card and partition it to utilize app2ext. Another reason is because there are many unused files left by the apps I used before in it. So I want my phone to be like a brand new phone after the upgrading. Can any one give me a howto guide on this?
Except partitioning SD card for app2ext, what else preparation/tweaking do I need to do before/after flashing?
I don't have a sd card reader. Can I do the partitioning with my phone connected to my PC?

Thank you very much!
I did the partitioning after I upgraded to v2.9.3. Do I need to reflash my phone to make app2ext work?
Edit: I recall that Auto Memory Manager (AMM) was recommended to be used with Froyomod at that time to enhance performance. Do I still need it now? And what about the supercharger script?

Hello guys, im an android newbie ad i tried to google this issue but really didnt understand the explanations. Basically in cyanogen mod 7, there is a choice to use the internal sd card or external sd card. As I like to download games and apps, i was wondering if i could use both the sd cards, the only option in cyanogen mod is to switch between the two, and the internal 5.1 gb so far can only be used to put music.
also apps that i use before on the stock rom that can solve this issue, such as gl to sd doesnt work with cyanogen mod

If you flash new rom, please clear the data of "GL to SD".
Bumping is not a very good practice. You have all said in your first post and you have answered to yourself.

I'm having a problem on CM 7 roms. I flashed the CM7 music v3 by crazy_k_p and my mmc cannot detect or read it. And I flashed the CM7 by mebitek and I got the same problem. But on stock and emanon roms the mmc can be detected and read.
Please help me about my problem.

You mean your SD-card? (MMC is another type of memory card, the mini uses MicroSD/MicroSDHC cards)
I've seen problems with the music player on some ROMS but even then it was accessible via the file manager. The solution was to back up the info on the SD card, (i use myphoneexplorer but you can use any backup program you want), format the card in CWM and restoring the information.

Hi, people.
I can not install TheUltimatum mod with Swapall kernel. During the instalation (Aroma), I'm setting to install Swapall, but in the log screen shows firekernel. The second partition on my class 10 sd card is a Ext4. I’m using windows Mini Tools to create it. First patition is Fat32.
Any idea?
TheUltimatum v2.9.
CWM 5.0.2.6
Please,
Salvatti

Why don't you ask in the rom thread? We could've solved this.

Hi Salvatti!
Just in case:
Your second partition (Ext4)
must be primary patition too (not logical)
You can choose that when formatting.
Good luck.

Guys,
My mistake.
Everything is working fine. I checked ram and internal memory after installed with and without swapall.
I thought that swapall was another kernel, but is only a mod from firekernel (correct?). Then, there is not wrong with screen log.
Thanks, anyway.
