Hey XDA,
I've done a bunch of searching and I've realized that a lot more people have cases and do reviews for every phone except the Nexus S lol So, I've bough a bunch of cases off ebay and plan on doing some reviews:

You missed out RearthUSA one.
That case looks great. Will order it and include it in the round up.

A really useful topic.
Actually there are lots of hard cases on ebay, but in my opinion they adding unnecessary bulk to the phone which is not quite slim itself. So from day 1 I've been searching for a good thin (probably silicon but could be other material) full body cover.
So to add to your list, the first one that was out there since the phone launch, the Amzers silicon jelly:
cgi.ebay.com/Amzer-Silicone-Jelly-Skin-Case-Google-Nexus-S-Grey-New-/120689309826
I have this one, it's nice but all that surface relief adds a little bit dirty look to the phone
Also just found not badly-looking one by Capdase:
cgi.ebay.com/Capdase-Soft-Jacket-Xpose-Case-Samsung-Nexus-S-Smoke-/140519645821
I have the seidio active x case. U should do a review.

I bought a case for $ 6 @ P Mall covers the back and sides good enough for me.

i think theres another recent thread on this. I hate cases, but love my Samsung TPU case. Super thin, rubber sides, plastic back that looks like factory back. Most people have no idea I have a case on it. Paid $15 for it
Do u thinks they have tpu cases for this phone in the kiosks in the mall. Need something to hold me over until I can get mine from eBay. All they sell at the carrier stores are flip covers for 50 bucks.

I was thinking about one I saw on ebay with a transformers logo on it. Thought I might go super geek and a bit flashy this time. Atleast until the outter box defender comes out.

I bought the JKase Premium Quality Samsung Galaxy Note II 2 GT-N7100 Streamline TPU Case Cover - Retail Packaging - Clear from Amazon. It was cheap and I was able to get fast 2 day shipping with Prime. (can't post a link yet since I am new)
This case and my Note 2 will be arriving tomorrow. I hope the case will be enough to hold me over until a better deal comes about on a name brand case. I'll be pairing this with a Spigen screen protector.
Im using the white and grey case mate case from at&t. The reason, I billed it to my company.

Is that the case you ordered as well? Seems they took the option for Amazon Prime away on it.
Got the black Body Glove case from Sprint and love it for it's thin form factor, non-slippery feel, and design.

Same here. I also have the Proclips mount in my car, meaning I have to take the case off to use it. The Body Glove case comes off and goes back on very easily.
Also bought the body glove one from sprint. Was worried about cases and adding bulk but this seems to be minimal and my phone doesn't feel like it's going to slip out of my hand every time I hold it.

I went to several Sprint locations, and none of them had the body glove case. I was also hoping to get something with a belt clip.
The only case I found locally in stock for my Note 2 was at the AT&T store and it was a white/grey CaseMate with a built in kickstand I think it cost $38 and did not come with a screen protector. Wish Otterbox made a Commuter style with built in kickstand for the Note 2.
Case
I bought the Ringke SLIM Soft Feeling Premium Hard Case. It's slim. adds very little bulk while protecting at the same time and got it off of amazon for 10.99 on sale from 25.00. I added the Spigen SGP Ultra Oloephobic screen protector and it's totally protected. I love them both.......
Have this:
http://www.amazon.com/Cruzerlite-An...6902&sr=1-2&keywords=cruzerlite+galaxy+note+2
Goes really well with the Titanium Gray Note 2.
$5 Ionic Position folio-style case off of Amazon. Offers good protection, looks good, and doesn't have a magnetic closure (huge!).
I just purchased a Seidio Active-like case off of Amazon to use until the Seidio Active combo either comes down in price or shows up at Best Buy for 2/3rds of what it costs now.
I also just returned an Amzer Shellster because it was a piece of crap that broke three days in. Spending $6 to return an item that I'll get $14 back for, after spending $5 initially to have it shipped. Really thrilled about Amzer's customer service policies.

Same here. Paired it with the Spigen UC screen protector which was a PITA to install on such a large screen!
Came across this on Thursday whilst researching cases. I've never ordered from this place, but this case sells for $30 everywhere else.

the texture is on the sides of the case in this version. super grippy.
I know a lot of people seem to like this case but seriously I think that it's overrated. I bought it from a T-Mobile store and returned it within 15 minutes. It simply is not grippy enough on the back side. If you rest your fingers on the back side while you use your thumb for actions the whole phone slides around if you shake a bit. The only ones that are grippy this way are the ones that have a smooth plastic surface on the back. The Samsung oem case is like that and my current favorite the case-mate pop. I have yet to find a better case than that and I have already bought 15 cases including the seidio surface, nillkin, the Samsung flip and oem... The body glove is just too thin and the protection it provides is just too minimal. Everybody has different preferences of course but imho you can do better with your money than the body glove....

Thanks OP! I was looking for the best price on this case, and this place won me over. Shipping is 16-21 days, but I'll put my patience hat on until then
Tempting to buy this case now:laugh:
Most places are having these on sale now?
http://www.wirelessground.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2-ii-body-glove-dimensions-case-black.html $14.95
http://www.amazon.com/Body-Glove-9310601-Dimensions-Samsung/dp/B00A87K5SW/ref=pd_sim_cps_2 from $11.98
This is the case I have been using since I got my note. It is pretty thin but well protected. Good deal.
I bought the other body glove case from a Sprint store. If it's the same material, I found it to be too slippery. Using it with one hand while trying to reach around the screen with my thumb felt like I might drop it. I like the case as it seems like good protection, but I would want to add the fly grip to the back of it to secure it in my hand.
Hi guys. Well I just got my nexus 7 a few days ago. I've been looking through the forums but sadly all I see is leather cases. Can someone recommend a good non leather case for my nexus 7. Thanks !
Very few of them are actually leather. They are mostly "vegan leather" which I guess is the latest term for artificial leather (sigh, I'm old enough to remember Naugahide). But there are reviews on the Otterbox, Seidio, Treegloo and many other non-"leather " cases in this subforum. Did you even look through it?

I did look through some of them, really wasn't interested in the treegloo, but i guess i'll check out seidio.
I dont like using "Leather" to my case, since they tend to thread apart...
Use TPU material case, IMO they offer more protection, since its rubber and bouncy...

What kinda case do you want? A book style case, a screen cover, plastic cover and edges, something else or a sleeve? we know what you dont want - a leather case but what do you want? once you figure that out we can move on to finding what you want or something similar.
Right now i have a case logic sleeve until my treegloo, if it ever, gets here. there are other book style cases if thats what your into, Portenzo, reauthored, and recently dodcase came out with a similar case - with the wood frame.
I'm really digging my Poetic case:
http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Slimli...359146334&sr=8-1&keywords=poetic+case+nexus+7
Very low profile. Adds almost no bulk and the stand function works much better than I suspected.
Here's my review of the rooCASE:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2110758
I have been looking for a Nexus 10 case similar to a Casemate Barely There or Incipio Feather. I can't stand cases with screen covers that get in your way but I haven't been having any luck. Anyone find one? Thanks.
Prefer not to settle for a TPU case.
I found a snap on clear shell case on Ebay that arrived yesterday. It was called, "Fosmon Crystal Hard Shell Ultra Slim Case Cover Skin for Google Nexus 10"
IT SUCKS.
I bought two of them, since I had problems with clear shells cracking on my old Xoom, and neither one fit. The bottom, thin end of the Nexus 10 would go into the case okay, but then it couldn't snap around the top end. Confirmed with both cases. They're totally unusable.
I am not familiar with those two, but I bought a Poetic Hardback, it has no bezel surround.
I like it quite a bit. I saw one owner report that the carbon fiber type had finish issues, but my fake leather one is great.

Hey guys, I'm getting my note 2 in a couple days so I have been looking at cases. Id like a nice quality one which looks good and isn't overly bulky and possibly even with a kickstand.
My budget is 30/40 bucks max.
I've been looking at the seidio active and the uag one. Thanks

Been looking for one myself. I like the Ballistic one, but it doesn't have a stand.
I know someone who has one for the S3 and it seems to work great
Platinum Series (Seidio Surface at Best Buy), or the Poetic or Bear Motion folio cases. There's also a rubber/plastic hybrid called the Rhino or Rugged case on Amazon, and I've had pretty good luck with that one.
Trident Aegis
I honestly think the best case for the Note 2 for my needs is the otterbox commutter. I doesn't add too much bulk, protects it very well (almost as well as the defender, see the link below), and has port coverings for to stop dust and other small particles.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pc4MEzq9hHc
UAG all the way. I've had both the active series and just about all the others. My main beef on the active series was that it actually looked a little cheap. Also the top and bottom of the active series is too flexible so in and out of pockets isn't like the UAG.
It's pricey but it looks like a $40 case. You get your money's worth. I haven't used the screen protector but I really like that it includes one.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
Can't really say anything about the UAG case since I don't own one. But when I myself was trying to figure out a heavy duty case I ended up with the Otterbox Commuter as well. Compared to the UAG cases from what I can tell, the otterbox has dust cover openings for both the headphone and micro usb ports as well as a dual layer case vs the UAG just one layer.

This 2.00 case and 4.99 shipping making it 6.99 shipped works excellent. Has a abs plastic exo skeleton and a rubberized skin. The exo skeleton locks onto the skin and has hard and soft protection at all 4 corners and has kick stand built in to the exo skeleton. Also comes with another holster type case that has an articulating clip that will go from portrait to landscape carry it too has its own kickstand
I dropped my phone from 4 feet and it bounced on 3 corners before it stopped and not a thing wrong with it .
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A7F4SF6/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Commuter case for me at the moment. Good double layer protection an i like the lips size of the edges feels like this case can take a drop from chest or ear height with no problem.. well lets hope so.
Considering buying a Defender just to do the extended battery mod. Probably get it in black since they say black makes things look slimmer Lol
