Music App Can't Find MP3's...Help? - Nook Color General

I'm running Nookie Froyo (latest version) and the stock music player can't find my mp3 files.
Any ideas why?

Nope, but these people are looking too: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945356
Edit: Oh, you're already in that thread; sorry.

I thought since it was for the older 6.6 version of nookie, people weren't responding.

Usenet for PocketPC?

Does anyone know whether there is a (working!) application for downloading NZB files (Usenet) on a Kaiser (PocketPC)? I did some research but have found none yet
oops..
sorry for placing this thread in the wrong section
I found this on a forum:
http://www.download.com/Newsland-for-Windows-Mobile-5-0/3000-2163_4-10490610.html?tag=pdp_prod
I've never used it myself, but I believe Newsland for WM supports NZB files. It's a freeware app that you can find here:

I downloaded and installed this but can't play any of the streams. It brings up the player but then gives an error saying "something went wrong". Anyone know what I might be doing wrong here?

Sorry for the delay in getting this to you... Been a crazy couple of weeks!
Bah, I uploaded the old version that does not work!!! Sorry!!!
Check Post #19 for the correct version!!!
T90, unfortunately this is the old version "Justin.tv Viewer." This version gives the error, "Something went wrong: Error #2032" Does anyone have the Justin.tv Player? It looks exactly the same except that they added advertisement functions and it works. Thank you for the upload though.

My bad Knappy, must have pulled the older "Viewer" version instead of "Player" version. Here is the Justin TV Player!!
Sorry for the confusion!

New nook color. Have some questions

Love it so far. Few questions:
1) Whats the best rom for it so far?
2) Once its rooted can you use the kindle app on it?
3) I currently have a few megazine subscriptions set to it. Once its rooted will I still be able to access them using the Nook app? Thanks!

1) CyanogenMod 7, IMO, is the best for any number of reasons. Read the the threads on this board for more info.
2)Yes
3)The nook app in the market can now read magazines. I've read NatGeo and it works great.
Also whats the best kernel for the nook?

Kernels are Rom specific. Find a rom you want to use, read the entire thread regarding said rom, and pick you kernel after that. For example....CM7 nightlies, stables, and Phiremod all use a .29 kernel. CM7.1 Beta 3 uses a .32 kernel, and the stock Barnes & Noble Firmware has it's own kernels with their own thread in the dev. section. Make sure to read any applicable threads, so you don't have to start a new thread about how you broke your Nook LOL.

Unless you are experimenting to determine what happens when you do something a dev says not to do.

[Q] What firmware do you recommend me?

Im in a flashing rampage seeking the best firmware to use in the Razr i. I have tried some stock, bu, for example, i found the brazilian one to be kinda choppy. Which firmware do you think is the best?
I've not noticed any issues with the latest 39001 GB version since updating earlier today.

As the above poster said, 81.5.39001.Retail.en.GB is a good one. I'd also recommend 81.5.40002.Retail.en.EU.

Yeah, i rather use Firefox. But since it isnt working on x86, Chrome does well.
The stock browser from 31002 is faster than chrome..
