[MOD] Andromeda3 Percent Battery - Captivate Themes and Apps

Stock Andromeda3 framework-res.apk with Percent Battery images substituted for the stock battery images. No other changes were made.
For Andromeda3 ONLY! DO NOT INSTALL ON OTHER ROMS!
Download from Dropbox: framework-res.apk
To put this on your phone, use Root Explorer or other root file manager to copy this file into /system/framework, replacing the existing framework-res.apk with it.
Screenshot attached.

works beautifully, thank you.

Can anyone make a circle battery mod for the Andro3 ROM?

Any chance you could make the circle in colors and change at varying points like some of the other batt mods? Green down to 50%, yellow down to 25%, red down to 0% would be awesome.

Yeah. I will do it tonight if no one else does by then. This gray one changes to red at 15% btw.

That would be really awesome of you, thanks.
EDIT: FYI, I just noticed that when you plug in the charger the battery icon reverts back to stock (little battery outline with blue showing amount of charge and lightning bolt to indicate charging).

Yeah, that was by design. Do you have a request for what you want to see when charging with the one I will make you in a bit?

Color circle battery mod with color circle charging...
Enjoy.

Thanks to Fightspit for the images.

C3PO, you are the best, man. The colored one is PERFECT! More beer to come.

Glad it's what you wanted! Thanks for the beer!

I cant seem to find where to install this too. I use ASTRO file manager and I cant find "system/framework"
What should be the full path? And then I run the .apk or reboot for it to take effect?

You need a file explorer with su permissions. Use root explorer(mount rw). Just put it in /system/framework/ then reboot. You could use adb to push the file as well.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App

Root explorer is a paid application. If you are rooted and want to install a root file explorer that you don't have to pay for, you could download super manager from the market.

Thank you very much, it looks very nice.

Works perfectly. Thanks for uploading.

For those that are interested, here is the crisis battery mod. I have tested it, and it works great for me.
edit: it is CWM flashable.

Anyone interested in battery mods should look up UOT Kitchen (uot.dakra.lt)
Go to the web site, follow the instructions and have your battery mod delivered hot from the kitchen

Battery percentage MOD

Hello everybody!
Has anyone done a battery percentage mod to be used with Nexus S yet? I have done a research but couldn't find anything..
I prefer to see the percentage of battery left right there in the middle of the icon, instead of placing a widget on my desktop.
That would be a nice little touch to the display, Im sure it will come out soon , I havnt seen it yet...
My theme has battery percentage built in. I will try to do the same MOD for a non themed ROM.

Yeah, the battery mod is available, had it just a few days after the N-S came out even. I've got one running on my aosp build (n1), as well as on cm7 alpha. No problems. Now, the custom low battery images I normally do.....well, haven't found that one yet. It's not like before.
Just the statusbar stuff, no problem.

3 things.
[to everyone else] 1. if the file dloads as ".bin" just rename the extension to ".apk" and install.
[to the Dev] 2. can i request a copy of this theme that still uses the vertical signal and wifi bars (they rocked)
3. cant wait when this gets a full battery percentage lol

[MOD] EE03 Blue Glow Overscroll

Here's a quick framework I threw together to change the glowing overscroll effect on EE03 from orange to blue. All I did was take the framework from the NoCIQ/Overscroll patched ROM ACS dropped and added the blue overscroll effect from the Continuum ROM for the Captivate. Been running it since last night - I don't appear to have broken anything in the process. Usual disclaimers apply, not responsible for roasted phones, todays rapture, etc...
Thanks to ACS and Continuum for providing the files in this framework. This should work for you if you're already running EE03 w/ the NoCIQ/Overscroll patches already applied, but I'm no expert on this stuff. Just thought I'd tinker with something for fun...

I think it will overwrite portions of it. The control of the 1% mod I believe happens in the framework JAR files, but the graphics themselves are in the framework apk.
This mod only touches the APK. You could probably take the battery PNG files themselves out of Rob's APK and put them in mine before you flash it, but I'm not sure what else Rob modified in his APK so it could undo something else he did.
Going the other direction, you could always start with his APK as a base and work the blue files into it...

If you download robs theme with the battery mod and crt/overscroll glow. all you have to do is open the framework res apk and go into the drawable hpdi folder and change the two overscroll png's with the ones from this. 7zip is the only tool you need
Just flashed on midnight 6 and so far everything is working and looking good! Keep up the good work
Epic Midnight Gingerbread
I'm using this too and it definitely looks a lot better than the yellowish/orange look it had before. I also flashed over midNIGHT 6 & I haven't seen any bugs o hiccups. Thanks!
The 1% battery version is working great !!! Thanks !!! Is this possible in a light grey/white??

Well if people were hungry for Bionix Black, this is a nice replacement. That was quick Starsky. I can pretty much say for a fact that he didn't get this from Herver. Looks really good!

They are blue for me. Depending on your rom you may need to toggle the battery icon using TSM parts.
For me it is in Settings > Lockscreen Settings > Statusbar Settings > Hide Battery Icon.
Toggle that a few times and you should get your icon back.
Has anybody flashed this on RandomKings Random ROM 2.3 EAGLE? I can't seem to get it to flash properly. Even wiped completely bare reinstalled the rom and then flashed the theme.... Maybe I'll re download the theme..
If that rom is a nociq rom it will not work.

I agree, they definitely are too light.I'm loving this theme but one suggestion I have is to make the dial pad numbers a little brighter if possible.I like the red but the numbers are so faint they are difficult too see.is there any was to make them the same color red as on the lock screen?

I completely agree about the white dial screen as well. Have you had any luck with correcting this or the numbers? Also, what are your plans for this once broken out for zv9 becomes available from mt? I saw he released it to some testers today and it has received some pretty good feedback. Are you planning on upgrading to the new BOR and if so will you be porting this for it as well? Thanks!
