So I came upon this (in the attached file) theme and I thought it was incredibly nice. The question was, I didn't know how to change the color to pink like that. The person who has the theme said she changed the framework (in Go Launcher EX) to get everything to be pink.
Does anyone know how to do this? And does anyone know the name of the clock app?
Thanks!

Guys and gals, this is my first post, having only recently rooting and theming my Orange UK Hero, I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to create me a small .zip of a translucent Notification Blind that I can install on top of my other Theme?
Im new to all of this and hope to be able to edit and package my own Updates soon, but for now..............
Looking for the exact same thing. Hower not fully transparet, only like 50% opacity. Would look sweet..
cheers

We are talking about the translucent blind the notification bar.

That looks pretty close, is there a theme that has semi transparent notifications too? I'll have a browse about and see if I can find one. If not then that'll be the next best thing
I would like a stand-alone skin for just the notificationbar. Today I use the clear as a bell theme and i would like to take it a step further with transparent natificationbar. It would look sweet... =)
Anyone sitting on a zip of what i need?
bump im afraid folks
i would do it for you guys but im not sure about something..
since all the themes iv done involve replacing "whole" apps, you would loose part of your current theme..
so unless you can remove files from an apk that arnt going to be changed, i cant help
anyone know?
to re -word... when you apply a theme, is the folder of the app replaced (in which case any files that were removed in theme, would not be on your phone anymore causing problems) or is it file to file meaning only files in side a folder that are "present" in the theme will be replaced on the phone?
i dont know enough about it to be sure, but the way i saw it, would be to replace/change the .png that currently draws down behind the notification area, just have its opacity reduced by 50%. Im probably way off on this........
what app would the notification area be? is it an individual app that can be messed with?
not really, thats why i asked what i asked... if i change just the notifications, it will change peoples themes
Hi All,
I have been looking for the past weeks for the following.
Nobody really replied but Vukandric, who is really busy.
Even on the Miui dev board no answer.
And I cant imagined this has not been asked before.
I am running the black (or dark as it is called) theme for MIUI.
Great, but for me 2 apps which are involving daily activities are still white.
The email-app en the calendar-app (not widget) are still white.
The calendar is white backgroud with black text, even worse, email is white back with lightgrey text.
I would like to get both apps in black background with white text.
Is this impossible? I have not seen a theme yet with this layout.
Or doesn't anybody want this.
I sure could use dome help in achieving this. What files do I need to change and where can these files be found.
Thanx to anyone trying to help in advance.
EJ
depending on whether the backgrounds are images or .xml values(?), you'd have to open up the .apk for the relevant program, find the images you wish to modify, modify them, and add them to the relevant theme.
The text however can be modified with a themes_value.xml in the relevant theme, but I know /little/ in regards to what wording is required, other than the colour being specified as #FFFFFFFF.
During the last days, i tried to create a general 'light framework' which changes color from white on black to black on white (like in MIUI or IOS) in System Settings and all Apps which use the standard framework. By 'general' i mean, that the idea is, that this framework could be used in themes or standalone. Anyway, couldn't get it to work until now. As templates i tried to use files from this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1228922
Don't get me wrong, i don't want to have an IOS framework, but a general template for a black on white layout.
I know that this question has been asked before, but obviously there is no solution yet. But maybe there's a new chance with the files from the ROM mentioned above.
Any ideas from a more experienced themer than me ?
thanx, lagloose
i am not sure if this means anything to you but there is something like that
http://www.anddev.org/tutorial_ui_themes-t4367.html
and i am really bored from white on black menus, looking for black on white other than miui.
Hello, I've been theming for a short while now, and there's one thing that I can't figure out for the life of me.
How can I set the wallpaper from a flashable zip? I can't seem to find any information on this.
To clarify, I'm talking about making it so that flashing a theme of mine, will also change the wallpaper.
Thanks.
It seems like a bad idea to switch a users wallpaper. If a theme does that, I immediately remove the theme. People have their wallpapers set for a reason, and don't like them to be changed unless they specifically want to change them.
hi, i was porting a theme to my sgsII, and ran into a problem.
it is okay in the screen shots that it seems normal.
but when you look at the screen in person, in the highlighted part, inside of the circle, is blue.
i only changed btn_circle_xxx's in Contacts.apk\res\drawable-hdpi-finger.
do i have to change anything else to make it seem all gray?
Just an idea bro but for a quick fix why dont you leave the color it was before and the files that you themed upload to the uot kitchen and change the highlight color like that.
