[Q] Pure drops bluetooth headset while on call - Touch Diamond2, Pure Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My ATT Pure will drop the bluetooth headset during income and outgoing calls randomly. I have tried 2 different headsets, one from Motorola and a Jabra EXTREME with the same results. No changes to the Pure, running WM6.5 and so I've done nothing to the unit that I find could have caused this. Anyone, any ideas?

Low and tinny voice sound via Bluetooth

Hi all,
I noticed this annoying issue with both the stock ROM and Dutty's latest... all phone calls made with either a bluetooth headset (tried with jabra JX10, GenComm ZEN, a couple crappy no-brand ones, a couple other Jabras, and even my Pioneer BT car stereo) sound pretty low and very tinny, as if the voice were coming through a string and two cans...
Any clues on how to fix this? None of my other phones exhibit this behavior.
Thanks!
try this for tinny bt sound
Yom,
I noticed this same problem with my Tilt, the sound over the Bluetooth connection in my A3 is worse than it was with my 4 year old Motorola v600.
This weekend I downloaded an update from HTC, then installed Kaiser Tweaks and Disabled the UseJointStereo function in the Bluetooth menu. To get the update from HTC you have to join the HTC e-Club:

The fix is listed as solving an issue with dropped calls over the BT connection, I was not having that issue but I figured installing this would not hurt.
Together these two changes have made the sound quality a little better, though still not up to par with my old phone.

Bluetooth Headset disconnects when trying to make or recieve calls

Hello to all, I am having an issues with my AT&T Tilt. I have flashed to sleuths WM6.1 rom and I am having Bluetooth headset issues. I'm using the LG HBS-110 Stereo headset. After paring the device with my phone the headset works great for listening to music. However when attempting to make or receive a call the headset disconnects and the phone call is heard on the ear piece of the phone. Ive tried searching but could not seem to find any solutions to this problem. Can anyone give me any suggestions to get the headset working?
Thank you for your time.

Question about Bluetooth profiles on the Diamond

Hey all,
I just picked up a shiny new set of Sony DR-BT10CX A2DP headphones, because I was sick of the huge Diamond headphone adapter.
I was hoping that the clever folks of xda-developers could clear up a few things for me, though.
Does A2DP support calling (microphone, etc), or should the phone switch the HFP/HSP when a call is made (or comes in)?
I ask because I'm getting bizarre behaviour...
If I'm listening to music and I make a call, the music mutes and I get my friend's voice through the headphones, but I have to speak through the phone.
If I'm listening to music and I receive a call, the music still mutes, but I have to use the phone to hear and speak.
Also, voice commands don't work through the microphone.
If the phone is supposed to switch into HFP from A2DP to deal with calling, this all makes sense (sort of...), but it doesn't explain why the profile switching doesn't happen.
I know there are already a bunch of topics about the Diamond and A2DP, but nothing that fits my situation. Since I'm using the Telus CDMA Diamond, I imagine that the other problems with A2DP were fixed (since I never have the problem of the phone playing music through the speaker instead of the headphones after a call), but it's still not perfect.

Bluetooth Headset dropping mid call

This is makiing me pull my hair out
My Phone a Galaxy Note 1 with JellyBeans Stock update rooted phone, and my headset is the Jabra Clipper
The issue is that during calls the Bluetooth connection would drop, not the call, just the BT connection, and I can hear the caller through the phone, If I disconnect the Bluetooth headset through the icon on the call screen and connected again, the sound returns through the BT headset, only to drop again after a few seconds.
This behaviour has happened with other BT audio devices but with varying frequencies.
I have gone through MANY MANY forums and posts, found several other people complainig about this on different headsets and different devices, which leads me to believe that it could be an Android issue, maybe not a sizable sample but to us who suffer from it, it is very very frustrating.
Needless to say, I have tried EVERYTHING, from unparing, reparing, testing the BT headset on different phones etc.
I HOPE that someone out there could help me with this issue, this is a desperate call for help :crying::crying:

No sound on call, mic not working for receiving end.

I'm having an issue with my Galaxy S6 920A on T-Mobile. If I originate a call in an area of weak signal many times the receiver cannot hear me, as if the mic is not working. Happens about 50% of the time. No problems with the mic, sound recorder is fine, I can make wifi calls and works every time. Incoming calls work most of the time (occasionally, maybe about one out of 10 calls has same issue). The outgoing channel is working because I can send DTMF tones using the keypad and the receiver will hear those, just not any voice from the mic. This is happening on two phones, one with Android 7.0 and one with Android 5.0.1. Also doesn't matter if I use a bluetooth headset, same issue. Can't have a phone where I have a 50/50 chance of my recipient hearing me. Any help would be appreciated.
Can anyone help on this? I'm trying to figure out if I have a physical problem with the phone or if they all work like this. Seems unusual that I would have two phones bought at different stores with different color and they both have this issue. Thanks.
